From my little knowledge, Minal should have extended Edin Dzeko's contract. Edin Dzeko is not a young player but he is an experienced complete player. Edin Dzeko has a lot of reputation as a professional player. Edin Dzeko was a good Inter Milan striker from what I saw. I think Minal's compromise with Edin Dzeko was probably the right thing to do. Dzeko wants to make a tough history in football in the end

Dzeko already agreed with fenerbache. it's impossible to extend his contract as intermilan was not interesting to offer him a new contract. Dzeko has been failed to bring intermilan to be a champion league. It's a shame if intermilan keeps him for another season.

I am not sure reasons behind this transfer but in latest seasons, some old star players and even young players like Zaniolo decided to play for Turkish clubs. Maybe they pay good salary for those players and beyond top five leagues in Europe, Portuguese and Turkish leagues are most favorite choices of star players. It seems Turkish league is more favorite by old star players and Portuguese league is more favorite by young players.

Dzeko can play for average clubs in Serie A but maybe he want to get better salary for very last seasons in his career in Turkey.

I believe Inter Milan will not take risk and pay big money to sign an official contract with Lukaku. The striker got many problems with his body and fitness in the last two years and his performance is not too good. It is still doubtful how solid Napoli will stay next season. Rudi Garcia has taken over and we don't know how many of their players who played a big role in the Serie A championship will leave this summer. But it looks like Osimhen is quite likely to stay for at least another season. Because his asking price must be around 130-140 million euros.

None of the European clubs looks keen on paying that high sum of money to sign him permanently. This is good news for Napoli of course. However his contract ends in the summer of 2025 so they might need to sell him next summer in case he doesn't want to extend his contract any longer.

well, this will make the competition even tougher for Inter Milan with Ac Milan because actually Marcus Thuram was the target of Ac Milan who wanted to buy from the beginning but Marcus Thuram decided to choose to join Inter Milan.
maybe Marcus Thuram thinks that if he joins Inter Milan he still has the opportunity to make a career in the champions league so he can experience playing in the big leagues or being able to compete in the UEL will be much better.

What Milan is thinking is very far from the fans' expectations and if it is true that Milan makes an offer to sign Lukaku this is definitely a setback. We know Milan have just secured around 70 million euros fresh funds after successfully selling Sandro Tonali to Newcastle and I think Milan should be able to find a much better striker than Lukaku with these funds. At Inter Lukaku has often failed to prove his worth and even though Milan started their bid at 40 million euros I don't think it was worth it and it would be better for Milan to start discussing his options again.

Lukaku's performance in intermilan was not so bad as you said. Even though lukaku has failed to bring intermilan to win UCL but his performance was quite well last season. Intermilan was winning a trophy + it has gone to the final of UCL which was a great achievement by intermilan. The only problem if lukaku never had interest to join in ac milan. Acmilan was making the wrong decision to tageting him as a new striker for the club.
I think that ac milan shall not try to take lukaku. Ac milan must have found another player that can become a new striker for ac milan upcoming season. Lukaku will never ever fit for the club. He is only wanna playing for intermilan.

Indeed, Lukaku is not entirely bad, but when a team like Milan, who are also less consistent every season, that can be something that will make them difficult in the end. It must be admitted that Lukaku is overly confident, he always feels needed for other teams and he is not aware that his performance continues to decline every year. I think Milan need to be wiser in using the available funds to get quality players and to achieve this they have to find a striker who can be a mainstay when the team is struggling to score goals. previously Lukaku wanted to stay at Inter. I think Inter must understand that next season they still need Lukaku, especially with Edin Dzeko leaving. Inter's best option would be to buy Lukaku, who suits Inter's style of play.

It is always good to get the facts straight.

The 15 points deduction penalty was officially awarded on January 20th, 2023. On that date Napoli stood at 47 points in the table whereas Juventus Turin was at 37 points, making it a 10 points gap already before the penalty was announced. Napoli almost played a perfect season and outplayed the rest of the field including Juventus. I doubt that even without the penalty at that point Juventus would have had a chance to close that gap. I am now even less optimistic for Juventus next season as I don't see many reasons why they should improve significantly.

There are several conditions that Inter might look at in the Lukaku case.
Firstly, he has a very high price and of course this will disrupt his financial condition if he is forced to buy Lukaku because we know that Lukaku will not be released at a low price for Chelsea, at least it still allows the price to be above the average player.
Second, the performance is not too bad but it's just that with the high salary and the value that is still high for Lukaku I think it's still lacking and of course this is not a good thing for a player who does have high values but his performance doesn't match the price and salary .
I think in this case Inter are clearly quite good at making decisions because bringing in Lukaku also apart from draining their pockets, their performance is clearly still far below the average for an expensive player.

This is interesting because previously I read some reports that Marcus Thuram was linked with Milan but indeed Inter managed to sign this player and the media probably didn't get too much attention because I had never heard of anything before
On the other hand, this is also a good decision because in this case, losing Dzeko to being replaced by Thuram who is much younger is of course very good. But for now at least they have to find another addition because Lukaku is also certain to leave and with this condition, they at least need one more striker as an option if Lautaro and Thuram cannot play.
Lukaku is still too expensive and allows him to go back to Chelsea even though at Chelsea he will immediately enter the sales list.

Well, its a good deal for Inter Milan if Brozovic moves to Saudi for a very huge fee. At 30 years, past his prime, i believe its right time for Inter Milan to let go, cash out and get younger replacement for the Talisman. Napoli's president has been putting a very big wall for both of players. Another club will think for twice before try to buy their release clause. It's caused by napoli already put very high price for them all.

I doubt with Milan has enough money for signing Lukaku due should fight with Saudi Pro League team give bid for buying Lukaku from Chelsea, its seems dilemma for Lukaku position right now, he has denied for playing with Saudi Pro League teams but his previous team Chelsea want to sell him there. Right now the future from Lukaku depend on Inter Milan want to pay higher fees transfer for Chelsea or Lukaku will return back as loan option from Inter Milan. Inter should keep him stay for one year later after leaving by Edin Dzeko, Inter's attacking line only left Lutaro Martinez right now.

I saw that news too and yes Edin Dzeko will go to Fenerbahce on a free transfer, I wonder why Inter didn't extend his contract even though he is old but he is still quite sharp. But anyway, Dzeko already anchored to Turkish Super Lig and it is his decision. I think they wanted to just rebuild, because getting the same old players to give them some talent could be good but it is not sustainable. If you buy a player that is 23-25 years old, you can do it for maybe 10 years, but at 37 years old Dzeko could be good for another season maybe, but it is not sustainable, you need to start thinking about the future as well. This is why I understand them not getting him back.

Plus, Inter, Milan, Juventus, Napol, and even Roma will have a chance to fight for the top spot next season. Probably not Roma, but all the others needs to build a team that could rival everyone and without that I do not think that it would be a smart decision, it would be much smarter to keep getting better results with younger players so you can have a better future in the league.

I believe Milan did the right thing. They should definitely get younger players on the team. I don’t think they should get rid of all the old players. Experience is also needed. But they definitely need young players to boost their performance for sure. The older generation is going to have a tough time keeping up against the young and fast players. If they can manage a good balance between the young and experienced generation, they will actually be able to do very well. I think this was the right decision taken by them about Eden Dzeko.
