There is nothing to be proud of when your team gets a player for 30 million a year when the other team offered like 5-10 million. You are getting screwed financially, players are basically taking advantage of the money Saudi league has and that's not something to be happy about.

Barcelona is the preferred destination of Brozovic in a head to head deal, if both clubs offered 10 million then he would instantly say yes to Barcelona, but because he knows he can milk these Saudi teams a lot more, he asks 3x more than what Barcelona offers, he hasn't even accepted more than double amount as well, think of how little he thinks about that club to reject a more than double offer. Teams in Serie A are known for several players who are old enough to complete a team and it would not be surprising if Inter eventually continued to use the services of these aged players to be able to strengthen the team next season. I tee Milan has quite aging players that are worth replacing.  They have Henric Mkhitaryan for 34 years (attacking Midfield), Edin  Dzeko, for 37 years (central forward), and Darmian, for 33 years (right back). Currently, all the centre-backs in Inter Milan are 36 years and above and the two goal keepers are 38 and 40 years respectively. This team has enough players that are worth replacing to race funds and bring in new young players that are hungry to make names.  This is the only way forward but they keep holding unto those aging players.

Its not that easy. Rebuilding a squad is expensive and Inter don't have that kind of money. And also you don't expect them to just get young players. That's risky. The young players might not leave up to their potential, plus experience is a very big advantage in football.
Inter's players are not all old. They have players that are 27-29 years and the also have young player like Barella and Bastoni that are very good.
They just need to make a few additions and replace players like Brozovic and Dzeko that are leaving and they are good. I also read that they want to sign Lukaku permanently.

This team has been like this for decades, the problem is the managerial part
it's the one to send home, not the players and not even the coach
Inter have changed many coaches, even good ones, no one manages to get as much as they should

Simone Inzaghi is quite an experienced coach. And Inter Milan's performance last season wasn't too bad. However, their performance was erratic. Inter Milan's squad is not strong right now. And so we are not seeing good performance from the team even after the coach is good enough. If Inter Milan can spend enough money to build the team next season then I would say Simone Inzaghi can make Inter Milan team more stable. However, Inter Milan is unlikely to prepare large funds for player purchases.
