The draw kept Union Berlin stuck in third place with 43 points from 21 matches, losing on goal difference to Bayern Munich who top the standings. Meanwhile, Schalke is still at the bottom of the standings with 13 points from 21 matches.
Bayern Munich still occupies the first place in the standings, but do not rule out the possibility that if Borussia Dortmund continues to add goals it will make it the newest standings leader.

But Hertha seemed to be able to score 1 goal through assisted by Serdar and then executed by Lucas Tousart in the 46th minute. The score was 2-1 with Dortmund still ahead.

The mental fitness was apparently not right at Union Berlin. I did not think they would play so tense. Apparently they are not yet ready to take the initiative.
That has been often the case: Bayern Munich has a phase of weakness but the opponents are not manage to take advantage of such phases of weakness.
But now Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Union Berlin have all  the same points. Finally it is exciting again in the Bundesliga.

As Bayern Munich dropped points in their last match. So I thought Union Berlin would get full points against Schalke. And the points will go to the top of the table. Because Schalke is one of the weakest teams in the Bundesliga this season. But the performance of Berlin's players in this match was very bad. They played defensively against the likes of Schalke. As a result, they could not win the match.
However, with Munich, Berlin, and Dortmund now level on points, the Bundesliga has become more crowded. I'm happy because this season we don't just see the dominance of Munich. It is still uncertain which team will win the title.

I was shocked by Munich's defeat. It looks like Dayot Upamecano's red card against Alassane Plea made it difficult for them to play with ten players. Although Munich actually performed quite well because they still made two goals and one goal was annulled by the referee for offside. Union Berlin's streak also drew so they only got one point and now the top three teams have the same points and that's very interesting. 

The bundesliga's best six rankings currently still have a chance to capture the championship due to the small points difference. For twenty-one matches of forty-three points I think that's quite a bit of a point. This means that this season's Bundesliga is more interesting.

As I said in a previous post, the effect of fatigue can make Union Berlin's performance decrease. and yes, Union Berlin was unable to maximize the momentum to subvert its opponent. whereas, Schalke is not a strong and tough opponent for Berlin. if Berlin wins over Schalke, then Union Berlin shifts the leader of the standings. it's a shame, Urs Fischer's troop squad had to be willing to share one point with the opposing team in that match.

Next, Berlin has a tough match which will host Ajax at their own turf. after that, Union Berlin will play a crucial match at the Allian Arena, Bayern Munich's headquarters. and it looks like, most likely, Union Berlin will suffer a drop in form. even so, the Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin match will be an important match for both teams. because, both Munich and Union Berlin, have the same points.

Union Berlin couldn't get full points in their match against Schalke because Schalke also put up a fight there, so the result in that match was a natural thing, even though they should have taken advantage of the opportunities from Bayern Munich's defeat to Monchengladbach.

Well, now we see the top 3 rankings with the same points as you said, meaning, this time the Bundesliga is not the same as the usual Bundesliga, which continues to be filled by Bayern Munich with a large difference in points. I want to say that the relatively good team in the second half of the season is a pretty good sign that they will be one of the contenders for the championship. One more thing, last season dortmund and bayern munich lost their star players in their team but this season it seems dortmund is better in terms of balancing the lost strengths.

with a fairly good performance in the second half of the season it seems that Dortmund will be able to become a more efficient team in the title race, Bayern seem to have lost their best performance in several matches which made them fail to widen the points from the second ranked team.
