Every season Bayern Munich basically wins for free. It is actually good to say that they are facing some competition this season. I am not belittling the other teams. But honestly, for a long period of time, Bayern Munich did not have any competition. And in this season also, there is competition because Bayern Munich has not been performing as well as they should be.

But Bayern Munich always likes to play an attacking game, which is why they are so fun to watch. And they are more adept at countering it. Bayern Munich are having a great time at the moment. They confirmed their ticket to the Super Eight after defeating PSG in two consecutive matches in the UEFA Champions League. However, with the same number of matches and the same number of points, Dortmund is second in the points table.  However, Bayern Munich should continue their form. If they can maintain their form then they are definitely one of the contenders for the league title.

Bayern Munich are no doubt major contenders and the last time I checked they're are bookmakers favorite that will clinch the title at the end of the season but I have a different thought on who will win the Bundesliga title at the end of the season and I think it is Borussia Dortmund who were ousted from UEFA Champions League by Chelsea. BVB will be playing the remainder of their Bundesliga fixtures like a wounded lion whose only hope of winning a major silverware this season is winning the league title.

Several clubs that are at the bottom or close to the relegation zone are very difficult to predict which club will actually leave the Bundesliga. Bochum, Schalke, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, Hertha Berlin are clubs that now have a very close distance and there is not even a gap between them apart from the productivity of goals that distinguishes them. Maybe this kind of competition will last until the end of the season, and I hope they decide it until their last game in the Bundesliga.

Seems excited and competitive with bottom Bundesliga position standing team because have the same 19 points each third bottom teams and the winning games from VfL Bochum today against FC Koln make them up from relegation zone awhile and having three points left behind Stuttgart. Keep competitive for bottom standing behind fewest points left their position from relegation will make excited start from matchday 24 who success up from relegation and existing in Bundesliga for next season.

Not many matches left and bottom standing teams should winning on several matches left if want get bigger chance still in Bundesliga for season 2023/2024, losing points will make close opportunities relegation to Bundesliga 2.

Every one now is trying to have a lift in position. I was expecting koln to do better than this But they seem to be unlucky cuz even at leading the match in position and attempt wise, they still can't net a goal.
Bochum in the other hand Is quite lucky, and may end this match with that single goal if only they can effect a coordinated defense cus as it stands now cologne seems frustrated and won't have a goal with such a desperate pattern they are using.

getting a penalty opportunity in the 9th minute was a lucky thing for bochum, and stoger managed to score the penalty goal. Cologne did dominate the match from the start and tried several times to threaten the Bochum defense but all of that failed, the match would end soon and Bochum's chances of winning were huge, this victory was good enough for Bochum because they were a little away from the relegation zone.

I’m not surprised to see lower odds on Bayern, because year after year they continue to win the league title and even when it looks that they might miss out in the end but they somehow pull off a miracle and win it. Lastly Dortmund in recent year’s has shown that they’ll come very close to winning the league title and then they’ll go on to surrender it, hence I’m not surprised that we’re getting higher odds on them.

Bayern and Dortmund are creating an interesting race to the trophy and with opposite results in Champions League, they will have different aims in rest of season. Both of them want to win Bundesliga but Bayern also want to win Champions League while Dortmund only have Bundesliga. It can help Dortmund to have an advantage against Bayern Munich if they can convert their focus to good result in Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich will have to be careful with their resource allocation plans in coming months. Playing in both Champions League with aim to win it and protecting their championship in Bundesliga under Dortmund pressure is not not easy.

The odds says in Bundesliga, Bayern win most of titles and they are strongest club there so bookmakers have to give low odds to Bayern Munich.

I guess this remains to be seen as repeatedly over the years Bayern has proven to be the more stable team in the first Bundesliga in Germany. Not even worth to mention that hey won the title for over a decade now and it is questionable whether any other team can take away that title from them. It seems that it became almost impossible to beat them, but is that still healthy for the sport?

Dortmund got a good news from Bayern Munich which went through a round of 16 in Champions League. Their competitor (Bayern) will have to play at least two more serious matches in Champions League. They will have at least two weeks lack of full concentration in Bundesliga that will be great chance for Dortmund to exploit it and create their advantage in a dual race with Bayern in Bundesliga.

But, again, this will also depend on how Dortmund is able to optimize the chances and will not miss any chance anymore. because Bayern will also be more serious although they have two tight and serious matches. Schalke is one of the teams in the relegation zone that has improved a lot in terms of performance in the last 5 games, just see that in the last 5 games Schalke did not lose and managed 3 draws and 2 wins, that in itself shows a great improvement, I believe that Schalke can survive and leave the relegation zone if they maintain that current consistency if also the other teams in the relegation zone have bad results, but Bochum just won and with that they have 25 points and moved far away from the zone relegation, it will be very competitive for teams in the relegation zone

this is a result that left me surprised, after 4 consecutive defeats Bochum entered this game motivated to change the sequence of defeats they had and managed to leave this game with this precious victory, they are to be congratulated, as for Koln, they came to this game with mixed results, it was hard to predict what they would do in this game, but at least a draw was on the table for me, but to my surprise they were defeated. at this rate they will be competing against relegation zone teams soon

Bochum is now out of the relegation zone and straight up into the top 14 after beating Koln which was actually not too unexpected in my opinion.
But indeed the position is still not too comfortable but with this condition it clearly makes competition in the lower standings more interesting because from 14th to the last 18th position there is still a chance to get out of the relegation zone.

After the 2-1 defeat in champions league,  I think Borussia Dortmund should cease this period for themselves since they now have nothing to worry about. All focus will now be on the Bundesliga while bayern Munich will still be having a divided interest. I'm so much impressed as to the sudden changes I see in the German Bundesliga standing. Borussia Dortmund now shares the same points with Bayern and is high time they show more strength. For year's now it has been Bayern, There should be a change of champions

I knew it isn't gonna be easy but I'm still disappointed at inter Milan. Not even a share of point but a complete loss of 3 points.  Even with a lucky penalty they still couldn't win or go with a draw. With this kind of results, I'm believing that Napoli Is already at the avenue of escape.
Matches like this should be a bonus win for inter if actually they want to contest for the tittle. but as it stands now, it is right to say that inter is only fighting for a qualification to next season champion league tournament.

Well no body expected from Union Berlin to keep up with Bayern and Dortmund for the title. For them its important to stay in top 4 and get that champions league spot. For them it would be a huge achivement also i dont think they will win against Wolfsburg

With possession of the ball and very large opportunities this is clearly disappointing, regardless of what they should be able to make this a victory but indeed on the other hand we also have to appreciate Spezia's excellent performance in this match.

Bochum really managed to win this match in the end, which was a really surprising result for me. I mean obviously Köln is also not in a good shape at the moment and they did not have a single win in the last 3 matches before the game tonight, but Bochum had an even worse series than that with 5 losses in a row. Looking at the statistics of the match and especially at the expected goals it seems like the win for Bochum was also a deserved one. The bottom of the table is so close together now that it is really hard to predict which two teams will be relegated down. Even Schalke has realistic chances now again to stay in the first Bundesliga.

Damn i really cant believe that Bochum managed to win in Cologne after they lost against Schalke last weekend.
I just have seen the review and looks like it was an interesting game between both teams.
Sadly i placed my bet on a win for Cologne as i thought they will made it at home.
