I think a good outcome for Union Berlin would be to qualify for the Europa League again where they would be much more comfortable.

I agree with what you said Union berlin in the champions league would be a little bit impossible because the big club competition is there and Union berlin is actually better suited to try to be better in the european leagues.

I don't think one player can improve the performance of Union Berlin that much. Yes, they played very well in the Europa League, but I think it's too early for them to play in the Champions League. I think they will be lucky if they can get out of the group, but further on it will be very difficult for them to play. The best thing for them is to get into the lower league, as happened last year with Juventus and Barcelona. The Europa League is just right for them.

Union Berlin will have serious challenges in the Champions league competition because they don't have a strong squad that can make their performance to come out  great.  Last season Union Berlin were able to lead the league in the early periods of the season but they couldn't continue with because their squad wasn't strong. I am quite sure that Yann Sommer would have chosen to leave if he had not become the first choice goalkeeper with Bayern Munich. in fact, it is rumored that Tuchel prefers Neuer to return as the main goalkeeper in the 2023/2024 season. so, it's not without reason that Sommer chose to leave rather than become a backup keeper. especially if we refer to some news including from Fabrizio Romano who said, Inter Milan has opened talks with Bayern regarding an agreement to sign goalkeeper Yann Sommer. he has reportedly emerged as a prime target for Inter, alongside one of the other goalkeepers, for a replacement for Andre Onana, who looks likely to leave for Old Trafford.

If Sommer is no longer needed by Bayern, Inter is the ideal choice IMO. I agree that Union Berlin played an extremely impressive and succesful Bundesliga season but i also think that the last season was only an exception and it would be pretty naive to really think that Union Berlin can fight for the Bundesliga title again in the coming season. Looking at their suqad i think it is more likely that they will have to fight to not be relegated down to the second division then fighting for the title. After an exceptionally good season there often comes a very bad one afterwards.

I just double checked and Harry Kane is still 29 years old at the moment so, he turns 30 in a few weeks. Maybe 1 year is not that big of a difference but in professional football i think that every single year counts. I personally think that Harry Kane is a great striker but we should also not forget, that he is taking every penalty for Tottenham hotspur so 213 goals in the premier League is definitely an impressive number but quite a few of those were penalty kicks too.
If i would be in charge of Bayern Munich. I would probably go for Kolo Muani because Napoli simply wants to much money for Osimhen (120M€ +). Yes Kolo Muani is still young and maybe a club like Bayern would be to big for him, but he would cost less than Kane and he is still way younger. Harry Kane is a less risky transfer, but 80 Million€ or more for a player that you probably can not resell anymore in a few years because of his age, is a lot of money.

Plus he has already been perfoming really impressively. Last season was the one in which we watched his best performance so far - 23 goals, 17 assists in all tournaments.

But the important point is his market value is 80 million euros now. As he has 4 more years to go at Frankfurt too I would expect them to ask for a sum higher than his market value probably.

Sommer is a very talented goalkeeper. And last season he was able to perform well with Bayern Munich. However, Bayern Munich has one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Manuel Neuer. And so it's a waste of money to have both Manuel Neuer and SOmmer in the team together. Bayern Munich are trying to sell Sommer. I think Inter Milan might be interested in signing Sommer. If not, we will probably see Sommer with the likes of Newcastle in the Premier League. Sommer is quite talented. Adding him to the squad is definitely beneficial for the team.

i am surprised by Tuchel, what else is he adding to the stock of the Bayern goalkeeper, Bayern's main problem is not the goalkeeper but the striker, they haven't found a replacement for Lewandowski yet.  Neuer's recovery is a breath of fresh air for Bayern and it is certain that he will again become Bayern's main goalkeeper.

Bayern last season actually appeared disappointing, they almost slipped from Dortmund in the race for the Bundesliga trophy if Dortmund did not fail to get 3 points in the last match.  when other big teams are very aggressively hunting for good strikers, i wonder why bayern doesn't do that too!!

Even though in terms of competition I agree as you said because this will be very difficult for them but the positive impact is apart from the financial conditions that will definitely increase, this is also a very good learning for them because being in the Champions League by competing against big teams, this will make their mentality and game better.

Union's advantage this season is that Leverkusen had a bad run in the Seoane era which made the competition in the top 4 quite favorable because only Freiburg was their rival.
Although Xabi gave Leverkusen something very good but they were too late because of the poor performance at the beginning of the season which made Union have the upper hand.
Now they have to look forward to their first season in the Champions League, hopefully it won't make them nervous before the match.

That's what has to be considered first. They haven't played with each other yet and it needs a few games at least to see whether they build a great defense duet. But from the looks I would say that this was a good choice and the height of both is remarkable. They are strong in their movements and 1.89 and 1.90 m respectively. That is a defense that is of high quality in any game situation. There could be late corners or free kicks and they can dominate high balls and low balls alike. If you compare that to other defenders who are only 1.80 m or even smaller, it could be the difference that is needed in some of those games when high balls become more common. 

I'm just saying something, if Bayern with Min Jae and De Ligt in defense and with a striker like Harry Kane, it will be great to see this team, it could be that the Bundesliga will be very well dominated by an increasingly strong Bayern But the Dortmund that has shown so much? how will he do? It is known that this team is one of the toughest in Germany, and they saw that they had everything to win a Bundesliga, but they could not, sometimes I start to think that if all these signings were demanded by Tuchel to better secure his job and obviously the Team victories, I don't know but I think this Tuchel is giving nice surprises, maybe it's what Oliver Khan wants, to make this team one of the best in the world.

It is important to understand that Sommer to Inter can only happen if Onana moves to United. Right now things are still in motion with Onana->United so it is difficult to say things for certain. Neuer return can really affect Sommer's chances so he needs to move.
