If Bayern Munich do not achieve the maximum this season, it is entirely their own fault. Bayern Munich is a full team this season. The team management has not left any weakness in this team so it is natural that their expectations will be the highest with this team.

We won't be surprised if Bayern Munich win the Champions League and Bundesliga this season.

The key is for Bayern Munchen to be consistent and focused on getting points. Tuchel has a tough task to make FC Hollywood continue to dominate the Bundesliga. Improved performance of Laberkusen, Vfb, Dortmund and Leipzig could be a real threat to Munchen, Laverkusen leads the top of the points table and Vfb is below it, with a difference of 2 points. Munchen must be willing to sit in 3rd place in the standings. I think it proves that this season is more competitive than the previous season, Tuchel has to be really alert.

Even though he is the favorite in the two competitions UCL and Bundesliga, sometimes bad results can happen at any time. With two consecutive wins in the group phase making Munchen lead the Group A standings, I think Munchen can easily qualify for the last 16 with group winner status and get perfect points.

Of course that's what Bayern Munich must continue to do now, focus on achieving higher points. The Bundesliga this season is indeed more competitive, many teams have shown their true strength, as you have mentioned, especially for Leverkusen who initially occupied the top position and then shifted down again and now Xabi Alonso's squad is able to return to the initial position which is the leader of the standings. The top five is indeed being dominated by very strong teams now so of course this is a very big threat to Tuchel's squad as defending champions in recent years. Honestly, I would not say that this season Bayern Munich is weak because of course the competition is now tighter because some strong teams have shown dominance in the last few matches. I agree that this is indeed a very difficult task for Tuchel. I don't know what action Tuchel will take next, but surely he must be able to excel so that their title as defending champions can continue.

It's true that the results cannot be fully predicted even though Bayern Munich can always be the favorite team in the Bundesliga and UCL, but that cannot be a reference for the results at the end of the season, still as you say anything can happen there, to qualify for the last 16 I believe the door is wide open for Bayern Munich.

Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart can't withstand Bundesliga giant in the second leg, because they're not yet ready to keep consistency in winning games. Bundesliga table changing this season, I'm confident it's not yet time for such history to be breaken because these elite competitive clubs can actually bounced back to streak winning ways unlike some random team that's starts the season in good shape, they won't be able to bear the heat when it's been heated up immensely. Bayern Munich and Borrusia Dortmund will returned to their regular domination positions in time, after all there's still a long way go in the league.

It could happen like that, but for now we also have to enjoy the fierce competition at the start of the season in the Bundesliga. Although I also don't doubt the strength that Bayern Munich and Borrussia Dortmund have this season to continue to dominate the Bundesliga like last season.

I can't say that for Borussia Dortmund this year. They fell below my expectations in the match they played. I was expecting the impression of a better team, scoring more goals and thinking more about attack, but I was wrong. The only opponent against Bayern will probably be Leverkusen. There may be a championship race between the two this year.

I hate Borussia Dortmund this season and think they wasted their strong position from last season. Now in 4th place, a team that almost won the Bundesliga is worrying. So they're unbeaten, but so what? Despite losing a player, the 1-3 win over Hoffenheim felt lacklustre. It sparks but doesnt convince me of their season potential. I dont feel better about their UCL match vs A.C. Milan. Milan leads their league, and Dortmund, despite home advantage, may struggle. Im annoyed! Why cant they be consistent stubborn?

In my opinion, Bayern Munich's strongest rivals at the moment are Stuttgart and also Leverkusen. To occupy first place, Bayern Munich must win the match against Freiburg, but it is likely that Leverkusen and Bayern Munich will chase each other on points to fight for first position in the Bundesliga and if Leverkusen is able to win the match against Koln, of course Leverkusen will still be in first place with points that are much higher than Bayern Munich and it will be increasingly difficult for Bayern Munich to catch up on points to occupy first place in the Bundesliga.

Tuchel probably considering the match against Copenhagen is too easy for Bayern Munich so that's why he did some experiment and rotation to Bayern Munich squad but i can understand why he did that because in Bundesliga Bayern Munich position doesn't really good so he have to focus for upcoming match and this weekend Bayern Munich will playing against Freiburg at their home ground and Freiburg is not the team who cannot be underestimate

I think Tuchel understand estimated Copenhagen by starting some players that were not in the 1st 11, it almost cost them the match but Bayern Munich showed their class in the game, though the winning didn't come very easily but they were favourites to win and did all they could to secure 3poimts and maintained their position as the leaders of their group with 6points.

 However the risk he took was worth it after all, because they secured the three points and the players he rested would be fit to play in their next Bundesliga game, and Bayern need to maintain a good position so as to remain in the top 4 till they finally get an opportunity to top the league as expected, they've been very dominant for more than a decade and I don't think Tuchel would want to break that good record the team has kept, in the regime.

Borussia Dortmund was one of the strongest team last season they almost won the Bundesliga trophy but ended up a runner ups and that should had made them very serious contenders this season but instead they've started with a slow pace, though they're on the right track, they're currently in the 4th position on the table and are still unbeaten, that's why I consider them to be one of the contenders of the league this season, in their last match against Hoffenheim they secured a 1-3 victory even after being booked with a red card, that's to show how good they could be when there players are in a good form.

 Their next game is in the UCL against Acmilan Tomorrow and it's a tough one to decide, even though they're playing in front of their fans with a home advantage because Acmilan are the current leaders of their league and won't be easy on Dortmund.

From my calculations it is almost the same as you @RaltcoinsB, but it seems I was wrong today with the match hosted by Borussia Dortmund who started this season with results that did not meet most people's expectations, I think that Bayern Leverkusen is developing more rapidly than Dortmund which making it superior to the others, from the performance of the match and the temporary results obtained today for Bayern Munich and Dortmund, I also think that Dortmund is a worthy competitor for Bayern Munich because the current standings of these two teams say that.

All Bayern Munich matches should be watched very seriously. Maybe tonight they can make a step in the right direction with a first real signature win? We have seen magical champions league evenings in Dortmund go down, hopefully today will be one as well and they can finally turn around this weak start of a season.

Sure Milan is an obstacle but the Italian league is not as good as in the past, so they don't need to be afraid. This is almost a do or die for Dortmund, lose and going to the next round is almost out of reach. 3 points are so important in this one, hopefully they don't blow it.

Bayern Munich needed an 83rd minutes goal from Mathys Tel to defeat Copenhagen yesterday in their UEFA Champions League game and that I think goes long way to explain how not-so-good Bayern has been in some of the matches they've played since the start of the season. But the good thing is that despite not having a clear impressive performance yesterday, Bayern Munich were able to take all three points from that game.
They need to improve in their performance as a team if they really want to have a better campaign than what they had last season.

I think, we cannot equate the quality of Bayern Munich at that time with Bayern Munich in this era ,. Because I believe, Bayern Munich has decreased in quality because after all, when playing against Manchester United also that Bayern Munich still has to work even harder to be able to beat Manchester United . Also, in the Bundesliga match when Bayern Munich played against Bayer Leverkusen and also against Leipzig the fact that Bayern Munich was only able to play with a draw score. I wonder why people would think because a star player doesn't score in particular match, makes him less reliable or undergarment, Harry Kane wasn't lucky to get a goal, but his performance was good and you don't expect him to score in every match, moreover the Copenhagen defence was so good and gave Bayern Munich a tough time, they gave them little space to create good chances and that was why they couldn't score more goals.

I don't think so. Bayern might have fully prepared, but it's a common thing to see a big club sometimes was struggling to face the low tier team like copenhagen. I don't underestimate copenhagen by calling it as a low tier team, but if we are watching it overall and copenhagen's level was still far below bayern. Look at the stats and bayern was not playing badly against copenhagen. It's still dominating the game against copenhagen which was showing bayern is far superior to copenhagen. The result from this matc was predictable, unlike another match like manchester united vs galatasaray.
I hope that copenhagen will be able to beat manchester united soon. It will help manchester united to go down into the europa league. None can't predict accurately how good or bad the performance is from the club.

Bayern Munich surprised me in the Copenhagen game a lot. I was expecting a comfortable game for them honestly. But after seeing Copenhagen scoring first I really doubted Bayern Munich about the win. They finally scored the winning goal in the last ten minutes of the game but they must also be not satisfied with their performance.

Just watch everything till full time. Bayern is also a club that was having capability to do cameback against its opponent. This club is pretty much the same like the bundesliga version of real madrid.
Bayern was just scoring two goals and leading the group right now while copenhagen was standing above manchester united with 1 point. The next match will be even tougher copenhagen but im optimistic if copenhagen will able to beat manchester united.

In my opinion, Bayern München will be a strong candidate to become Champions League champions this season, because they are a club that is difficult to beat, especially in turning things around, which makes me more confident in this club, even though the era of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry is no longer there. but Bayern München was able to repeat that era with very good talented players. I assume they didn't prepare well for this game. Maybe they underestimated their opponent I don't know. Because they didn't play like this against Manchester United in Allianz Arena. I'm confident about one thing that they will get more prepared for their next Champions League game.

 
I don't think bayern munich underestimated Copenhagen, but true is that, that is how games do look sometimes. It is not possible that team performances will be at the same level all the time, they will perform sometimes weakly and sometimes very strongly, so I don't think strong teams will be beating all other teams by many goals all the time

Actually, Bayern München did not give 100% to face Copenhagen because the difference in quality of play and experience was an obstacle for Copenhagen to match Bayern München's resistance. In as much as we all know that Copenhagen wasn't good enough to get a win over Bayern, but allowing them to score first was a mistake Bayern did even if they later made up for it and got a win over them by the end of the game, I still feel Bayern was probably playing with caution as to save energy for champions league so then, they will be able to perform optimally as that is more important than the game against Copenhagen in the bundesliga.

But then it's a lesson to Bayern and others that regardless of the team you gave putting your best is important as taking them for granted could cost you a lot by the end of the day, so every team should be taken seriously so as to not loose points and drop down the standings unnecessarily. I hope Bayern puts up a better performance at the the champions league game later today.

I think nobody could ever predict to see Stuttgart at this place. Because compared to other teams like Dortmund and especially compared to Bayern Munich Stuttgart is not a strong team and they didn't buy players this season. Also, Stuttgart didn't have a high amount of investment. I think Stuttgart doesn't have enough potential and they will lose this place sooner or later in this season.
