Considering the current situation in the Bundesliga I don't think if Leverkusen's result was bad for this team and I guess even Leverkusen can be still hopeful for the Bundesliga title with the current performance they have right now. Even Xabi Alonso said he can't complain about the result because they were playing against Stuttgart and this team is also on the top side of the table.

It’s not a bad result at all considering the hot form Stuttgart is in right now. Playing a draw against a team that won all their last five matches including two matches against Dortmund, this shows that they are not a small team and can beat any team they face in the league.
Leverkusen still have hope of winning the league since Bayern and Dortmund are having inconsistent performances.

Now Laverkusen is still comfortably leading the standings with a difference of 4 points, If yesterday against Stuttgart they had won, the difference would have been 7 points, but Laverkusen failed to secure full points, and Bayern still has one match postponed. I think the postponed match against Union Berlin can be completed well by Tuchel.

If things like that happen in the future, I think Laverkusen will really be the luckiest team, because only if Bayern experiences a setback will they be able to secure the trophy at the end of the season. However, it would be even cooler if Xabi could beat Bayern in the future, and confirm their position as new candidates in the hunt for trophies this season.

It's true that a draw like that would help Bayern Munich and the distance wouldn't widen that far, but why when they had the opportunity to shorten the distance again, Bayern Munich actually lost badly yesterday against Frankfurt, which clearly had an inconsistent performance. Dortmund is the roller coaster team of the Bundesliga. I still struggle to understand how they were able to pass the Champions League group and get into the next round early. But I highly doubt that they will be able to pass two more rounds in the Champions Leagues they are just too weak and unstable. I dont think facing Dortmund can be used as a benchmark because after all Dortmund are one of the best clubs at the moment so the draw is actually very good especially with the dominance that Leverkusen showed in this match.

Today Leverkusen played away from home to Stuttgart and the game ended in a share of points. It was a fair outcome for them, at least they didn't get to loose 3 points, they kept back 1more point, which still ensured them being ahead of Munich. At the moment, I don't know what to say about Bayern's confidence for games ahead or if they'd be able to stand more challenges that'll be tougher than the one they lost to, but for Leverkusen, they're indeed doing well, even if they've tried to suppress them, they still did their best to hold tight and stay strong. That's what actually currently makes them better than Munich.

This looks a little funny for a team that has very competent players and a big defeat with more than four goals conceded is a form of Tuchel's incompetence in facing Frankfurt.
