I applaud Xabi Alonso for being able to bring Leverkusen to the lead in the Bundesliga even though there is only a 4 point difference with Munich. This means that Leverkusen's chance of becoming champions is not completely guaranteed, but I still appreciate Alonso as a coach who is able to make Leverkusen one of the strongest teams in the league today. And I agree with what you said that Tuchel could now focus on the Champions League because Munich is also one of the favorite teams to win. I think Xabi knows that the Champions League is a bit difficult this season so they will focus on the Bundesliga and getting the championship trophy.

Bayern Munich is also still one game behind Leverkusen so the gap in points seen now is four points, but if Bayern Munich's matches are the same as Leverkusen's number of matches and Munich can win. So the point gap between the two is just one, not four points, unless Munich cannot win in its 16th match in the Bundesliga. Apart from that, Leverkusen this season only competed in the European League apart from the Bundesliga, not in the Champions League like Munich. So the pressure these two teams have is certainly very different even though they often look the same in the Bundesliga.

There is no guarantee that Leverkusen will become champions, nor is there a guarantee that Bayern Munich will be able to defend the title they have won for more than a decade, yes everything is still very possible. Or maybe these two teams can even be shifted by the team ranked 3rd or 4th, yes even though it is difficult but with the remaining matches that exist it could happen, even though it looks impossible to me.
What is clear now is that there is new hope in the BUndesliga in Leverkusen, which was previously held by Borussia Dortmund but they always failed to realize the hope of being able to break the dominance of Bayern Munich in the race for the championship.

My condolences to German Football. Franz Beckenbauer passed away at the age of 78.
Beckenbauer, who is considered one of the best players in world football, made history as a football player who played 103 times for the German Millo team.
He also took his place in history as the only football player to receive the Ballon d'or award twice as a defender. I don't think there will be a football player who will break this record after this time.
My condolences to German Football. I wish patience to his loved ones.

I knew him from the Galaxy 11 ad that Samsung did way back in probably 2013. He was the coach of that team in the animated short film.  He was old, 78. He lived a good life as a football professional.  He should be respected and remembered throughout the whole football history. My condolences, the death might not be very unexpected as he was 78, however it still is not a bit less sad. And of course, him winning the Ballon D'or as a defender twice is most probably never going to happen again. especially the way football is shaping up to be in the future. He was a great mind for football as well.

We talk about 4 points a lot, but Bayer Leverkusen, which is 4 points ahead, has one game too many. If Bayern plays its missing match, the point difference may decrease to 1 point. Bayern is a strong team and they have the strength to continue the championship race with Leverkusen until the last match.

Beating Bayern Munich in this season is harder than the last season because since the summer transfer, they got a world-class striker, Harry Kane. It is what Bayern Munich did not have last season after letting Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona.

It would be very interesting if the situation changed for now. Yes, it cannot be denied that Kane's presence has had a big influence on Bayern Munich. However, this also includes the team as a whole. Just a few months at Union Berlin doesn't seem to have made Leonardo Bonucci happy and he even had an argument with previous coach Urs Fischer because he didn't get proper playing minutes. Even though Union Berlin has now changed to a new coach, Nenad Bjelica doesn't make him a priority and continues to fill the bench.

There are new rumors circulating that seeing Leonardo Bonucci's discomfort in Germany, the Turkish team, Fenerbahce, is interested in recruiting him and I don't think it's a bad offer if Leonardo Bonucci still wants to play and get decent minutes outside Europe's top league. The decision will still have to wait another week to determine his choice and I think he will have to leave considering that he is no longer as competitive as when he was younger.

At the age of 36, it is indeed difficult to compete in the starting eleven of major league clubs. It's true that he should play at Fenerbahce or the Saudi Arabian League, which is more suitable for him.

But here we see, old statistics cannot always show the strength and intelligence of a coach at one time. Xabi is a new coach but he is quite a genius with Leverkusen at the moment. In 2023, we had some legendary people died, Maradona, Pele and in just very early days of 2024, we have Beckenbauer. He is a legendary libero and in Germany football history, many years after Franz, they got another oustanding libero,  Matthias Sammer.

About Franz, he is recognized as The Emperor to differentiate him with The King Pele. Because there is only one King, the world must use that term for Franz and getting it means he is actually a legendary player.

Tuchel has more experience than Xabi Alonso, from Bundesliga to around Europe and at highest level like Champions League. Tuchel lifted some trophies in his coach career while Xabi Alonso still has empty hands as a coach. Comparing them about experience, Tuchel surely wins but comparing them about chances to win Bundesliga in this season, it is like 50/50 with a little bit advantage to Tuchel.

Tuchel has bigger advantage because of his experience and better player resources in Bayern Munich than Xabi and Leverkusen. Even so, Xabi and Leverkusen can make big shock to beat Bayern Munich and complete a mission which Dortmund failed in a last match day past season.

Yes, I admit that Xabi Alonso is indeed an extraordinary coach because of his ability to build Leverkusen into a club that is not easily beaten by any club.
