I have received weekly updates from one other project which has 22 millions active users and they told that Decent has become partner with them for their decentralized digital content sharing services. I have both tokens this collaboration has doubled my chances. Decent is advancing despite of hard times towards better future and good times in small steps.

Which project is this. I unfortunately had to sell some Decent right now at such a low price because I have bills to pay, and it really, really sucks. I imagined by this time that the price would had been in a much better position.

Selling some crypto in the bear market because you need and don´t want to is really hard. Always hard to predict the price and no one really knows when it is going up again or we might even see a next alt season.  But there are just a few days needed to make some decent profit

When you go all in then this is normal and common problem in this space to sell most of the time when markets are in bearish cycle. That;s why it is advised to invest what is extra and you can hold without need of liquidating in case of long bearish period. It isn't just Decent but none of the projetc can handle this unexpectedly long uncertainty that's why price fell this low.

Decent have very good approach to raise awareness and increase the adoption of this token. I also think in future this project will grow to more bigger than only strong hands will take advantage of this growth.

I have the same optimistic feeling as yours.
I wish (and believe) that DECENT coin will grow considerably (might be exponentially) this year.

Why in this year? I admit that the price and the market cap have been insanely low. Someone should do a code review on decent hithub to explain why this is not getting proper attention.

Imagine if DCT would rebrand and create something similar to NEO as in generating something similar to "gas". That might just spark exponential rise and interest as in passive income asset.

Rebranding could be a good idea, whenever I bring up DECENT people assume I mean Decentraland. Trying to stand out in the cryptospace is really important.

I hope the team do take all options into consideration, because 5 years from now DECENT will be worth or a lot or worth nothing at all.

But they are two very different projects and I don't think that should be the reason for a rebranding.

Luckily Bittrex was in maintenance mode for a bit so I didn't sell some of my coins that day. And the price was higher yesterday. I'm still very optimistic though.

I hope the team answers this soon. But in one of the articles I read a comment from a poster saying that this will not be an ICO, that the ICO already happened in 2016, for Decent. So it seems that it's going to use Decent.

I didn't mention name here because wasn't correct to talk about other project before the news to be spread officially. It has been cleared now for everyone that TTC protocol is that project. Having both Decent as well as TTC is perfect combination which just increases potential of profit in my opinion. This is combined project git.eoc which will be huge.

How come? Details on this are still unclear and i don't think that they have explained that is it based or what. I don't know enough about TTC to know who really will benefit from this.

does the team have enough funding to survive for the coming years? my friends say they will not buy decent because of this and i post here to prove them wrong. i read on the roadmap big things are supposed to happen at the end of this year i am very excited!  

Well if they used it wisely they have more then enough. But just the developement of the underlying tech gives it value sooner or later. I don't think that people are realising the potential yet, so there's no speculative market yet.

If you read a few pages back you will see people saying that the advantage that Decent has over other ICO's from a couple of years ago is that they have a lot of money.

There is 800+ BTC in the ICO wallet left, assuming they have at least a few million in the bank left after cashing out 4000+ BTC (if they aren't spending ridiculously) and a few thousand BCH. I'd assume they have at least $5-10m at their disposal to keep the project going for 3-4 years until DECENT has it's own independent value and they can sell small amounts of DCT to keep them going from that stage on.

I really have no clue on how much of it they have cashed out, or in what point. And i am not sure if they have ever told us that.

I asked about that information in the Telegram and was told it is private information, at this point you have to just hope for the best and hope they aren't spending like morons. They have a huge sum of money which could genuinely put DECENT in the top 20 cryptos in the coming years. Personally I would like to see a movement into the adult industry, huge market and not impossible for the resources they have currently. The project is still young, and I hope over the next year or two progress and value come hand in hand, but if it doesn't I'm not sure where DECENT will be in 5 years.

The one thing about the team is that they are ambitious about the project, and the fact that they still have a lot of funds, hopefully things will turn around for the best. I was checking LBRY coin thread, since they were our competitor sort off, and things are not good there.

Is it know how much of the gathered funds are still available? If they managed it properly they shouldn't be ruining into funding problems.

They have used 4000+ btc and now got only 800+ in their wallet but the value of the token is very low, where will it end dont know but the project is going on good so i think after more 2 years it will be value just like ETH if i am not wrong when all projects start to function fully.

In other words they burned through 3200 btc by now? Considering the bull run that is quite a lot of money they already spent. Is there any overview what has been spent on what or something like that?

Thing is, you can't know how much is kept in fiat money, but I find it highly unlikely that they would have burned that much.

Highly unlikely that they managed to use 3200 BTC till now even if you consider the BTC price at ICO level. I believe they are capable of proper risk management and building up a longterm portfolio to further increase the viability of the project.

I don't know whether we will see some clarification about this actually. It would provide some credit to the team but actually they don't really need to do that in any way

I would also find it highly unlikely but there is no other way to know than for them to be 100% transparent about it. They don't have to be though and I doubt they will disclose such information. It creates uncertainty among investors though if we don't know how much is left. And uncertainty can result in downward pressure on the price.
