Right now, Bitcoin is very unstable so it would probably take another 4-5 years to really see an impact on it. Maybe the next year would be better, but nobody knows if it will be because crypto is unpredictable. Only time will tell if Bitcoin's price would reach $1000 and mainstream adoption 

What you are saying is correct but I think that in the year 2016 the prices would atleast go bit higher as compared to 2015 mainly depends on the adoption level and the demand of bitcoins, if the adoption level is higher prices would be higher and much more stable, and that is time we all are waiting for, the day bitcoins hits the mainstream the prices would be more stable.

And probably the main reason of Bitcoin's price instability would be the surge of new alt coins like Ethereum which is mostly hype. But then I could be wrong. Anyhow, I hope to see something good when the next halving comes in. I also which that the block size issue would be resolved but that's not up to me.

I figure after it's been stabilized for a while (and it seems to be getting there), more people will start to trust it and be willing to start using (and enjoying) it. And 2016 looks like a good year for that to happen.

Exactly. That means that Bitcoin is becoming rare and thus its demand will increase as well as it's price. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a hopefully increase in price by the next halving (probably around 2016)  With its current price is the perfect time to buy some more. (that is if price goes up by then)

I think that in the beginning of the 2016 there will be not much difference from this year.
Maybe it can be increased but a small percentage, when will increase the price is when the block reward will be deducted for 50%
At that time the price of bitcoin can be boosted (pumped) and we will be happy

Definitely bitcoin will get a boom by the middle of 2016. Because of mining reward halving is scheduled by july2106. This is the great news who are believing that bitcoin will save their live. Bitcoin will test the new higher prices by the end of 2016 if new mining chip arrives as they promise.

Bitcoin will die never. It is the first product of one disruptive technology which will defend it at every cost. Then the qualities bitcoin have make it unique and very competitive with every kind of other currency.

People like unrealistic things.
No force can stop bitcoin growing, including dollar. Bitcoin is better money than dollar in all means. So bitcoin may kill dollar when bitcoin raises as a global currency. May be that may not happen in 2016, but definitely will happen soon.

Nope, 2016 isn't the one.

On the contrary, bitcoin will be weaker this year. I would be surprised if the prices stay around 230$ at the end of 2016.

P2P markets like Open Bazaar that cannot be shut down and reward halving are two strong indicators to me that the price could go up.

Usability and adoption have also grown during the past 2 years lull.

At the very least 230$ seems to have become a very stable floor - stable currencies are seen as strong and usually increase in value during crisis.

XT is not hurting price, price depends on so many factors that you can't know what have most impact on price

Even the big merchants will be forced to accept bitcoin when bitcoin hit bigger price on the consequence of halving. I just say the reverse thing of your view.
So, definitely future is ours in either way. Unless Satoshi has not scheduled halving then we need to wait for more times.

I think the ongoing blocksize debate will keep happening forever, I don't see how some people are waiting for some sort of conclusion. Due Bitcoin's open source nature everything is open for debate constantly, so we should focus on trying to improve Bitcoin and ignore those that constantly talk about this or that blocksize mb limit as ideal.

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

I wish same way that 2016 can be the year of Bitcoin, and that possible for many causes. Bitcoin is famous nowdays and make more and more fans daily and we hear that great companies use it and support it so i guess it's the future's currency
