URGENT PLEASE HELP
My 4x Antimer S7 just got to my country and they are held by customs. They are saying that the value is too great for personal use and they require documents for importing on a company.
I have no company and they are trully intented for personale use
They are now asking for a statement from me
What should I say that I use them for and I needed 4 of them ?
Please help me FAST
Thank you
"This particular item is a collection of computer processors called ASICs that perform a specific computational task. Alone, this component does nothing. Once I assemble other pieces and attach the ASICs it solves complex computer math problems. In the most simplest of terms, it is just a computer component." Saw someone else stated this. Should I try this ? I had the same problem with my s4's. The main problem was because the price was high and they said that only company can import this much, and they were worried that i will resell them and i would be competition for other companies. Because as a person i can import only one. And after a week arguing and finding dozen connections they relleased my gear. Exactly my problem ! What country are you from ?They say only a company can import so many units, and I will re-sell them. How did you solve the problem ? A few ideas to justify home use for customs -1200w high tech space heaters to heat your house -supercomputer parts for a school project (if you are still student) -high end computer parts for 3D modelling or virtual reality gaming. ha 1200w space heaters. +1 Back in the day I had gridseed blades shipped as "HEATSINKS"

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

WOW Now available for 1300 in Sale. Seems to be like they want to kick out the last batch really fast. maybe this could also say why the difficulty is in this kind of increase right now.

I received 2 Batch 8 miners and within 24 hours they both had 1 dead board. At least I can still get 3.1TH/s with them while I was for a response from Bitmain... Hopefully that doesn't take forever. Sometimes I only get one or two boards to start, if I kick the clock down a notch they all pop up without rebooting. Touchy. My batch 8 is much less impressive than my batch 5. It does a weird thing where the hashrate drops 200-800 Gh for a short time and simultaneously the temp on the third board in the GUI goes down a degree or two. Looks suspiciously like that board is losing part of the chain for a period of time, although no x's in the GUI. It doesn't last that long (3-5 minutes) but it happens very often so the end result is the overall average is less than the 4.7 they claim. It spends much more time hashing in the 4200-4500 range than the 4700+ range. I have an EVGA 1600 on it same as I do on my batch 5 (which happily hits 5 Th almost continuously).

Pretty much. But the other guy in the cell might not have that problem.

So how do you declare the value of the miners? When they call me and ask for the invoice what should i do? You can print the digital invoice you get. If they did not email you a copy (i just don't remember), then you can see your invoice on your profile, on the website. Then click Orders, then find the relevant order and click view. Print. Then maybe use an highlighting marker for the relevant portion (example); Total [Second Hand] ANTMINER S5 BATCH 7 × 1 391 USD ( 1.396 BTC )

Maybe the 280 USD ( 0.667 BTC ) can be used as the exchange rate and do the math for the grand total..?

But good luck getting them to help, still have not seen the compasation we were promised for Batch 1

My S5 order shows both, but since they priced S7 in BTC, my batch 8 order only shows BTC price in the "options"
