Right on point, you cannot control the use of money that's why the general public chooses what they want to buy with their money and the same thing goes for bitcoins. No one can control owners of Bitcoin as to its usage since they are the bonafide owners.

The money can still be controlled, as long as the government are the center, it can be controlled. But, when it comes to bitcoin, no one can, it is a decentralized digital currency, even the government can't take ahold of it. Besides, these drug buying using bitcoin is as old as the old investors here, we must be used to it, any way, we can't stop them.

Don't the words "should" and "must" mean the same thing? Anyone who has a functioning brain will be able to realize that anything that has value will always be used in shady stuffs. It's inevitable. Let's face it. You can't control these people. You can't just say "stop" and then all the shady transactions going on (regardless of which currency) will just stop.

It's because of the Silk Road that's why people look at bitcoin's as a bad currency. Whenever someone tells that to me, I just say, "Let's talk about your precious fiat for a moment." and make them realize that the amount of illegal transactions that has happened in bitcoin is just a small fraction of what's happening in the real world.

Exactly Bitcoin is still money and you can do anything you want from it, the only difference is Bitcoin can make you secure the privacy you needed if you are transacting something outside the laws of the man. To be on point its not even Bitcoin's fault or any currency in which they are being use to buy things like that. You know what will solve it? Just by legalizing safe drugs like marijuana will surely drive the market down, which will make it cheaper and also clear the image of Bitcoin being some kind of drug only money.
