I think that since newegg implemented the bitcoin payment method,
The price has started to be increased, hope i am right.

It will eventually happen.
I think if they offered it on their products that are not performing too well like the kindle or services for their Fire network, then people would accept them more. Bitcoin adaptation for those would peak the interest of the more tech savvy people having a more viable option to buy them over Apple products and services.

I think we are all in agreement that yes Bitcoin needs more advertising.  The problem is who is going to fund the advertising, who is going to make sure the advertising goes into the correct direction.  The question should be, how do we get Bitcoin more advertising, not if we believe it should have more.

There is many methods to advertise Bitcoin, i think the best method is talking about Bitcoin with our relatives not only online but also offline, this can help to make Bitcoin known as real currency, used and exchanged with fiat easily..Bitcoin without doubt need more support

Everything in this world needs some promotions to reach mass. So, bitcoin must need more advertising to make it as main stream of payments. Long back heard making bitcoin advertisements as smart-money or digital-money would attract more people.

I need to agree. Without advertisements we can not get a huge community for bitcoin. Bitcoin would be more successful if it reaches to more people. Same way bitcoin will value more if more adoption of bitcoin is done in each and every business.

I bet that your grandma cannot use even the smartphone or the computer. That's doesn't mean that bitcoin is not easy to use. I find its use less complicated then the previous ones mentioned in the first sentence. That's first. The second have to do again with the same subjects. The smartphone and the computers are much more known than bitcoin and yet are innumerable the ways of advertising made to those. So, why not the same strategy for bitcoin?

I am not sure about your part in bold if the average joe will see in the publicity made to the bitcoin even that the value of it is waited to be very high in the future (with the needed warnings) and the the fact that it is accepted by Microsoft and Dell to buy their products. Then even from to many other - more or less known merchants - in all the world. Then reading the info about it offered about it only by Wikipedia. Then all the other info about it that can be found in internet (if will do a simple search),

If the average joe will be lazy and will not have the desire to do all the above things, I think that it can be even only the first publicity which can make him curious about bitcoin and to try it.

I think the way to go is not to advertise bitcoin itself, but what you can do with it and the benefits it brings: quick and cheap remittances, etc.

Many people here firmly believe that bitcoin price will increase ove the next years, but it is not something that could be advertised, if you want to avoid the accusations of running a ponzi scheme.

I'm thinking of buying a gpu on Newegg this December using bitcoins. Though the prices are somewhat higher than other deals, it is a nice thing since I'd be buying with bitcoins.

Well bitcoin as itself does not have any budget for advertisement.
But the third companies that work with bitcoin they can do that.
Because they advertise their services and at the same time that they are accepting bitcoin.

What I think we need most of all is more services based on bitcoins.
When these service providers will advertise, they will be promoting bitcoin at the same time.

It's more important to create the demand for Bitcoin, the fact is people seem not that interested in Bitcoin, Because they don't need it, most payment methods is enough for them.
