Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency?

After all, if you don't spread the knowledge of an existence, the existence is in turn unknown, labeling it useless.

What about spreading the word to the younger generation? Children are known to imitate knowledge, and spread it continuously. I am a firm believer in broadcasting and wide advertising. Right now, I'm trying to create handmade merchandise like hand knitted sweaters with the bitcoin symbol embroidered onto them, hand sculpted bitcoin symbol necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and even handmade dolls of a mascot I drew. I'm hoping these fun items will help spread awareness for the digital currency until it's the number one used currency. What do you think?

Personally i think we need to start promoting Bitcoins in real life more now. Web promotion is good but still restricted to some extent. A real-life promotion strategy will create a bigger impact and seems much more legit to newbies, and thus more trusted.

The biggest concern is finding the amount of funding for such a project.

I guess we need some kind of announcement at youtube and we community share it on social medias being facebook,whatapp or any other thing,we need to make the people get curious about it.

She said she was working on that, but never actually gave any time frame to that. I would hope that she is serious about doing that soon. Maybe before the year is over, because we cannot afford to waste anymore time.

Bitcoin is still the minority's game. We still need more exposure. IMO the most importances is that more bitcoin related startups are offering more service to us and get the ppl get used to using bitcoin.

i think spreadin the word bitcoins with friend is enough .. if everyone gets up and takes pledge to promote this awesome currency then am sure 90% of people by 2025 will be using bitcoins instead of local currency

Just make a Bitcoin movie with famous celebrities, like Robert Downey Jr or Will Smith, or maybe even Harrison Ford (lol) Then they would use Bitcoin in the movie to pay for stuff like food or other goods. People would then become curious about it and would want to know more about Bitcoin. Just my opinion. 

There is no need to make bitcoin movie. We can pay for movie makers to let the characters in the movie spend bitcoin in several occasions. We also need some national TV advertisement.

The most practical way of introducing Bitcoin to the masses is by people using Bitcoin on TV or movies. It does give the audience an idea on how convenient it is. Since TV advertisments are mostly heavily regulated by the government, it is unlikely for any advertisment on Bitcoin to be displayed on national TV.

i'm not sure about directly advertising bitcoin, I think adoption through integration in services/apps the public is already using would be effective. preferably shielding the user from seeing bitcoin addresses

Bitcoin is fine.  Don't worry too much about it.  But if you have good ideas to advertise Bitcoin, by all means, go ahead.

That is true but people are more influenced by famous actors or sports person, So if the bitcoins is promoted by this people than it would have a great impact on the mindsets of the people, and it will work positively and would go in the favor of bitcoins, So if the bitcoins is advertised by this famous people then it would be more popular I guess.

Too much television this days. International cable channels could help and some on movies. Just like McDonald's on Spiderman. Even if they dont really need to put that advetisement in that scene they still do it. Just for ads purposes and that they can tell people they are rich and can pay ads even in a blockbuster movie.

But

Lower money velocity = lower demand for it.


Sot its kinda mixed, depends if the traders actually trade it between eachother for goods and services or just dump them for altcoins or fiat.

Good and cheap BTC advertising through Internet is not so easy to make  Especially nowadays, when Internet is full of Web surfers and many thousands of ads

I honestly believe the brick and mortar merchants where I live should be aware of Bitcoins and try to accept them. Majority of them still receive funds majorly in cash rather than debit cards or credit cards, so they're barely affected by any credit card fees that they'll have to pay. But, since I'v noticed many virtual forms of mobile payment are emerging here, adding Bitcoin to their list of accepting payments would be worthy. So I believe some conference or campaigns to encourage them to accept Bitcoins would be worthwhile.

They probably will accept it if you take time to explain the benefits. So many benefits are available.
