looking at Nadal against FAA, it seems that we will not see Djokovic vs Nadal classic after all or if we see it, Djokovic will win in easy three setter
Zverev is really good this season, and it will be interesting to see him against Alcaraz, maybe he can improve on Madrid easy loss
back to Nadal vs FAA it is 3:3 in fifth set, but Nadal does not look confident at the moment
Not the expected performance from nadal if he plays like this against djokovic he will surely lose it might even be a 3 0 loss as you said, and for zverev it will be difficult for him to beat alcaraz especially after today performance he seemed to be having difficulties against zapata miralles in the first two sets i think alcaraz is young and pationate not to mention tallented and really good on clay i think he will get past zverev.

Alcaraz win against Kachanov with not much difficulty in just 3 sets and tomorrow will face Zverev. The Spanish seems in a very good moment of his career and he is playing very well. Meanwhile Zverev seems a bit in difficulty in this tournament (if you have seen the third set against Nakashima it's clear what I mean...) Let's see tomorrow what happens... there is a nice show for this match.

So it's inevitable, Djokovic vs Nadal in the quarterfinals.
Nadal though has to pull another comeback win in 5 sets against Felix-AA. Was interesting though that this is just the 3rd time that Nadal has been stretch to five sets in RG.
So this is a blockbuster game, Djokovic the favorite to win at 1.42 based on the current odds. But I wouldn't discount Nadal yet.

^ Yeah, very interesting that L. Fernandez has gone in the 4th round already while a lot of ranked ladies are falling.
Nadal vs FAA, and Alcaraz vs Khachanov. Just put a parlay on this game, +7.5 on FAA and KK +8.5 for a good 3.17 odds. I'm thinking that this could be a 3 set victory for either Nadal or Alcaraz, but maybe it will be close that the final score can be somewhat covered by FAA and KK.
I think nadal will have no problem getting past aliassime but i expect the canadian to put a good resistance and maybe win a set against nadal but for khachanov i dont think he will be able to resist alcaraz on clay. Auger Aliassime is giving hard fight against Nadal. There is consecutive scoring for the first three points of the set. Right now Aliassime leads the first set scoring the fourth point and the set turns 3-1, but the odds for Nadal is low stating he has the increased winning probability. Aliassime have won the last two matches in direct sets, and in this match the experience might gain importance. Yes, as I expected, FAA will be a tough match for Nadal and he forces a 5th set but he lost, and although Nadal cover the spread for me, Alcaraz though demolished KK without any problems. I was speculating that at least KK will win 1 set to cover that spread for me, but I guess Alcaraz is just too good now after those early scare. Ruud vs. Hurkacz, -2.5 for Ruud anyone? or you think that Hurkacz might surprised as here? Tsitsipas vs. Rune - I will go with the Over 33.5.

Whoever it was who said Felix doesn't got what it takes: you were right. Yes, it's Nadal, it's anyone's game to lose on the king of red but really, if you can't beat a guy out of his prime and nursing injury, man, what will it take?
Anyway, if Tsitsi then makes it past Medvedev (it's gotta be him who goes through no?) looks set for another vs Djoko final, that's got to be it, right? Or is Nadal really going for his 22nd?

I am actually tipping on Medvedev to loose against Čilić tonight. Čilić is limited player but Medvedev on clay is not someone you have to watch for. Granted maybe he upped his game since I didn't watch him on clay this season but in previous seasons he was just terrible. My high stake bet goes on handicap and low stake on Čilić to win 3:1. No way he goes past Tsitsipas for sure if that is the draw. Bear in mind Rune is very dangerous on clay so Tsitsi could have problems as well.

I think that's harsh on FAA, he took the king of clay to five sets and nearly beat him. Nadal may not be at his absolute peak, but remember he did win the AO this year, against Medvedev. And he does have a 27-3 record this year, and is leading the ATP race... so officially no-one in the world has played as well as Nadal in 2022. I think my pre-match assessment (below) was actually pretty accurate. /\
Do you think Felix AA has enough to beat Nadal tomorrow?
Just checking the odds on Rollbit has Nadal clear favourite, 1.14 to 5.8, I know that isnt always accurate but the general sentiment is Nadal to progress but I would love to see Felix AA progressing through.
I think that normally Nadal should beat FAA on clay. And Nadal has been playing well this week, too. My uncertainty really comes from the fact that Nadal has just returned from injury. It's a big ask to get through round after round of a slam if you're not 100% match fit, and especially if you're managing an injury. He's looked untroubled so far, but he's not really been tested. If he gets into a long attritional match, I don't know. I won't be betting on this one. I do think Nadal is more likely to win, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he doesn't.

Aliassime is a decent player - but I did not expect he'd give Nadal so many problems. Đoković looked better so far in the tournament - and is portrayed as a big favorite by the bookies in his forthcoming game against Nadal.
Having the opportunity to bet on Nadal with 2.70 odds is something that I won't miss for sure - I feel it will be more of a 50-50 duel.
Čilić playing Medvedev today - I think a game handicap on Medvedev seems like a decent bet.

Nadal @2.7 in RG against anybody is a good bet. I am just a bit afraid that he is nursing a small injury and he is a player that doesn't forfeit. We are on opposite sides of that Medvedev-Cilic match. I have a bet on over games, Čilić +6.5, Čilić to win and Čilić to win 3:1. As I said before Medvedev on clay had never been even competent player. Maybe he changed something this season but I am trusting in his usual clay results.

Interesting take, and based on that I've just punted a low stake on 3:1 outright (9.4) and 3:2 (10.9), and I might come back and do the same for Tsitsi who starts really soon I think that's harsh on FAA, he took the king of clay to five sets and nearly beat him. I think my pre-match assessment (below) was actually pretty accurate.
Fair enough, and the bookies turned out to be right, only the odds suggested it was a foregone conclusion, I just still think this was the best time to take Nadal out (not on form but on actual current conditions post-injury), and Felix still came up short. I know class is permanent, form temporary, but injury is clear and present danger.

Two top players with question marks over them, I have gone with a +7.5 on Cilic, Medvedev just might survive this one, its funny that we havent talked about him until now when the numbers have thinned and the top seeds remain. Nadal v Djokovic, thats hard to call, this is the battle of 21 GS' and 20 GS', drawing level or increasing the distance or neither of the two!

Just placed 2 bets on the match Nadal vs Djokovic as the odds are simply too interesting. Nadal is not in top form with his injury but never rule out Nadal on Roland Garros. Placed a bet (small stake) on Nadal to win @2.95 and a bet with medium stake on Nadal +1.5 sets @2.02. Should be an interesting match to watch!

I dont think thats a smart bet at all going with Nadal in this match. Yeah you can never writeoff Nadal but with how long he played against Auger and his foot injury i think he might even get destroyed in straight sets. Djokovic also is well rested o most all matches were avg 2h only on clay so he is fresh.

A 1.35 in play bet looked very appealing on Tsitsipas in the second set but I didnt take it..... luckily! Rune beating him 3 sets to 1 has to be the biggest upset in the tournament, well done to him.
Ruud beat Hurcacz today to set up an all scandinavian quarter final.....Ruud v Rune
And Sinner is through too, Rublev retired from what I'm not sure yet but its great to see Sinner in the quarters.
Ah just saw it was Sinner who retired, thats dissapointing.

agree on this, Djokovic seems as back to top form, and Nadal is almost certain having some minor injury, that will brought him down eventually it seems that Nadal will play tomorrow, and then rest until August and American tour, he does not seem fit, but want to try to get another RG in his hands nevertheless, getting fourteenth is mission impossible, as he looks right now

Tsitsipas today wasted by betting program , Rune was really strong ! Another surprise was Cilic against Medveded impressive win! A bad surprise was with Sinner! He was complaining for his knee also the match before against McDonald so it was something expected... First there was vescicles/blisters and now knee, shortly even if he is a young player, does not seem to have an enviable physical shape

And this destruction that Medvedev suffered from Cilic just now is the reason why nobody should ever place a single cent on Medvedev when playing surface is clay Cilic is nothing more than solid clay player and he looked like top 3 in the world against Medvedev. Hope some of you cashed in on this, I have been preaching about it for whole day. Not all my tickets passed but most of them did and here are the two that are multi so a bit more interesting to share.

I half expected him to just skip the clay court season entirely... But at the time he registered for the French Open, there were still ranking points available for non-Russians at Wimbledon, which would mean no chance for Medvedev to return to number one. Obviously now the situation is different, and Medvedev will be number one irrespective of what happens in France. Perhaps if the Wimbledon ranking points removal had happened a couple of weeks ago, we wouldn't even have seen Medvedev at RG. But... whilst I expected him to lose at some point, I thought he'd still have too much for Cilic.

Some upseating result for me today i did not expect tsitsipas to lose against rune i thought he will be able to get past him since he showed improvements recently since he made it to the finals in rome but i guess i was wrong and one of the games i was looking forward to ended after two sets with sinner retiring but we have the biggest game coming up between djokovic and nadal so i am excited.

It's just that everyone has known for a long time and it's clear that the coating on Roland Garros is not the most favorite for Medvedev, plus the factor of the recently undergone surgery should have done their job and there was only a question when it would happen. Another question is Tsitsipas, who knows and knows how to play in Paris, where he reached the final last season. However, a four-hour battle with a player ranked 134th in the ranking already suggested some thoughts. By the way, Tsitsipas did not complain about his health after the match and on the contrary said that he physically felt perfect.
