I think the price will be higher daro $ 630. it will happen after halving. I think prices will reach $ 700 back or toward $ 800. So before that happens. of course it is best to collect or buy bitcoin

It could happen this year because of the halving effect and I believe 2016 is the year of bitcoins because we witness a great improvement in the community as a wholes as evidenced by the price abrupt increase in the past days. |

It's not so good to buy bitcoins with $650 price, better to wait a bit when price will start decreasing and buy your coin for investments. But if you are rich enough you can do this anytime.
Pessimistic people are saying that it is not good to buy since $450, and now that price is above 650. Any price is a good buy if you are investing because as the months past, the price will just go higher. All you need to do is hold until the price is high enough. |

Buying now for short term will give you a sure profit but for me, I would not bother buying just 1 bitcoins for a little income, I will just save it for the future and maybe add some from my daily earnings.
For some people in the first place, holding only BTC1 is really not profitable since if you will take your coins for long term purposes, then just go with the large value. You can't feel the profits if only you will hold a few quantity of coins for long period of time. |

Definitely today is not a the right time to buy bitcoin if you are thinking to invest 1 bitcoin and you don't have something to hold to. But if you already have bitcoin that you holds it is a very good thing to invest in a long term investment with that 1 btc. No I think you are wrong, if you are a long term investor then you can still afford to buy now, as in future price will be too high and will not be easy to buy bitcoins. Maybe true maybe not, I think you should wait some weeks before purchasing as the price is expected to decrease in the coming weeks and hence once it gets in high 500's you can buy some bitcoins and hold then till halving. |

bitcoin is always a good long term investment, although it goes without saying because it is obvious that you should try and buy bitcoin while it is at the lowest price and not when it has gone up and you already have missed a lot of money because of waiting around.

I would say that below $800 is the good time to buy bitcoin. And it is going to be a good decision if you are going to buy 1 bitcoin and put it on a long term investment or holding. |

But if he didn't become active here in forum but still able to hold his 1 bitcoin at all for almost a year. Then for sure he is now seeing his profit out of it. I hope he does not stop from using bitcoin even he isn't active anymore. |

Coindesk Price: Oct. 9, 2015 (The date where OP made this thread) : $244 Today's price (as of typing this) : $673 Profit as of now if he bought BTC1 that time : $429 8 months has been passed only an earnings of $429. Really not worth it. |

That's is a good estimate, we will never know what would be the standard way of living in the future and things could go so expensive so it is better to have an excess estimate than a very conservative estimate. |
