True, commodity speculators are not adding or subtracting the commodity from the economy.

Legal growing pains. I expect somebody doing something illegal and using bitcoins to help do it will get caught, put in jail, and that will be mis-reported as "bitcoins are illegal!" I'd say there's a 1 in 5 chance of bitcoin being made outright illegal in the USA, but I also know that I'm terrible at accurately predicting stuff.

I was very lucky to purchase some bitcoins today. I think you are spot on. If less than 50 million will be made, the value per bit coin will be ridiculous in the coming months...

Either way, I'm in and want to see how it goes. It's going to be an interesting ride.

Those people entering the Bitcoin community much earlier were very lucky. They have made such a huge wealth with almost doing nothing really. All you need to have in those years back then was enough amount of faith and trust in Bitcoin. That was enough for you to become a very rich man today. However, I also noticed that many of those who came much earlier also sold some or a bigger portion of their Bitcoin holdings when the price reached as high $500. Even with that amount, a huge wealth was already made. After all, it also took several years for Bitcoin to finally reach a thousand dollars in value.

very true. so go to school, start a business, create something useful or beautiful, develop a special talent, or find many of the dozens of other ways to make such a life more probable for yourself. it's not that hard to make a difference, nor is it hard to become 'rich' when you're productive and clever; for example, come up with a product that costs $250, sell 20,000 copies of it, and you've got $5 million in revenue. by contrast, in the history of the world, i strongly suspect the number of people who've become billionnaires on the back of a tiny capital investment alone is 0. at most it's 1 or 2, with extreme luck, and i can't think of any examples. there's a simple reason for that, which is that if it happened too often, there wouldn't be any money left for anyone else to be contributing their shares of worldwide wealth to the accidental magnates. bitcoin does have the potential to create wealth, but not that much wealth. if you add up the surplus from all the transactions you think it enables that are otherwise prevented today, then additionally total the transaction costs that it saves as a payment system (if it does at all, because its long-term competitiveness on fees to other ways of transmitting money is quite contentious), and finally subtract the negative externalities from those newly permitted transactions, you don't get nearly enough wealth created to justify all the personal hopes of the people in this forum. to bank on a mostly-zero-sum transfer to yourself of magnitudes unlike anything the world has ever seen is much more likely the result of a loss of perspective than of neutral, balanced thinking. it's the product of psychological features like confirmation bias, not of reflection.

My house is not so big. It is one-storied, about 1100 sq ft of built-up, in some 350 square meters of land.

Ownership tax is around $20 per year.

The protocol rules and cryptography used in Bitkoyne still work fine, years after the creation of the network, which is a good indicator that the system is correctly designed

http://astrohacker.com/ahc/bitcoin-is-the-economic-singularity/

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The world just isn't going to be the same and we have been blessed as the pioneers.

What are you going to do with your Bitcoin wealth once your coins hit upwards of $10,000 a pop?

If bitcoin will rise up in that value, I will use it as my savings also I will ise it to nuild a bisiness and to invest too. If I have a savings I have a secured money. I want to have bisiness and investment because I believe that miney is a cycle. So that if I have that I can earn a lot and can gain more profit.

I would like to believe it. People who bought bitcoins three or two years ago, these are real lucky. I recently learn crypto currency and do not know what it will bring to me!

human nature is the same whether you are talking fiat or crypto.  BTC will not lead to any kind of utopia but it will make life better for those who adopt it...unless the gov't stormtroopers bust down your door because you have some, of course.

When the customers start complain in the bank for not receiving their bitcoins.. And want their money back.

That is what some of my elitary life looks like. When i am not chasing "shady" exchange owners.   Roll Eyes I guess a bank managers life looks a lot different.

Forgot. Remember to spend some time with the birds. They don't care if you try to time them.

PS: "Elitary". That word does not exist. I have just checked my spellchecker. The word "idiot" is clean.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

If you just buy bitcoin at this moment and you are a new investors i'm not sure if it will bring you to become rich and a new wealthy elite. Maybe if you are investor and already owned bitcoins since the beginning of it i'm pretty sure you're the one of of this wealthy people.
