2026 NBA Season

So I guess it's just about right on where they are as far as outright betting goes. No doubt that OKC will be the top favorite, their core is intact and with just minor additions to their team. Cavs was a good team last year, maybe they can have a break out run and push past the second round with Mitchell and Garland.

Same with the Nuggets, they still have Jokic at the helm, although they've traded Porter Jr., they added Cam Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas to give Jokic some time to rest and then put him in the last 6 minutes of the 4th quarter.

I like their current ranking in the championship futures, mainly because i trust the active players they have right now.

Irving doesn’t need to rush his return, he can take his time to recover. as long as the mavericks can maintain a playoff spot, that’s already good enough.
I’m sure he’ll be back before the playoffs, fully healthy and ready to go.

OKC seems like a good candidate without a doubt, after all they are the reigning champions. People called Sam Presti a mad men when he started to just trade anyone he can find, just get more and more picks.

At one point I remember, they had like 3-4 first round picks for many years in a row. But dude knew something nobody else knew, those players, those picks, turn into a team, and could become even more picks, and one day, they could trade those picks to get a good player. Look at them now, all that rebuilding, all that tanking, and now they are the winners finally. They also used the fact that there aren't any superstar dominating team anymore, most teams look equally good, at least top 5-6 looks greatly close to each other.

Those picks gives them enough time doing that rebuilding process and with patience and good blends and chemistries they managed to win the title, like what you just mentioned they are not a big 3 or something they just support and respects each other, knowing that each of them have their own roles when given a chance to play.

Still have that good chance to repeat what they've done last season though too early to conclude as there are good contenders this season  especially they are in the west side where fans expecting their supported teams will perform to reach the finals.

Because if he can return by December, then he can warm up and be in peak condition when the playoffs starts, he will have a few months to both play and rest when he feels like he is getting tired. We all remember the young Cavs kyrie, but this dude has been around the league for a while now and getting older, coming back from this injury is not about first game he can play but more about how he will continue to rest during the season as well.

Even though he’s been injury-prone, what I really like about Irving is that every time he comes back, he still looks the same.. the swag, the confidence, the way he controls the game. He doesn’t lose that edge, and he still manages to lift his teammates.

With the kind of stacked lineup they have right now, I don’t think Irving needs to overwork himself. He just needs to facilitate and let the others do their thing, since a lot of them can score too. As long as he stays careful and keeps that chemistry going, the team should be solid. Their young rookie, being a first overall pick, could definitely add some spark and help balance things out.

We still don't know that if the swag will come back, Kyrie is 33 year old and at that age, maybe he can't be the same as before when he comes back the injuries that he had in his career might take a toll sooner or later.

But the line up is still one of the best specially they have the number 1 rookie in this draft class and this could be enough for the Dallas fans to somewhat still very positive on how things are going to be for them this season. So let's see when is Kyrie going back, someone mentions December, if that is the case then it's good but If I'm Dallas I will have to rest him and not force the issue and be desperate.

I think everyone knows they have to trade him. Either that or they will lose him for nothing after one more year. They’re taking their time and that’s a good thing. The last thing they need is an aging star who is going to leave them like Giannis. They need to get a ton of draft picks and trade pieces for him.

Sometimes I really wonder where your infos are coming from.  Kostas Antetokounmpo is still playing for Olympiakos my friend. The brother that got signed recently to the 2 way contract was Alex Antetokounmpo, a guy that was signed in the NBA 3 times and got waived within less than a week 3 times.  Never played one second in the NBA and never significant minutes in any professional team. Just a pity nepotism signing.

Lol, but that was very funny indeed, because if it did, then Russell Westbrook will be cheering for Giannis. However, if you think about it, those brothers are being paid in millions while the former MVP that broke one of the most established records in NBA, triple double was not being offered by any time now.

It's certainly funny that the Bucks are turning into the Antetokounmpo team, but I think NBA management should crack down on nepotism and the signing of such contracts. There's nothing good about the relatives of a top player taking up spots on the bench, thereby depriving truly promising young players of the opportunity to make it to the NBA.

Yeah for sure that they are thinking that way and instead of getting nothing they provably have that thoughts so that they can get at least replacement if Giannis would really pursue his trade in other team.

It's opportunity so why not grab it? But it's very obvious that this is no going to last that long, sooner or later maybe Giannis will go on other teams so it means that is brother will not be on the Bucks when he left. So for now, they are milking it and it looks like this brothers are good business minded. Because if they did, then the millions that those two have earned might be enough for them to be fine even if there are no teams that will absorb them once Giannis left the Bucks. We have heard Giannis of going into many teams, but it could be possible that he might bring at least a brother to a new team if he can include it in his contract.

They can't afford to lose him so they need to listen and they need to give everything that he wants to stay, just like what you just mentioned they are not contributor but since it's Giannis demands there's nothing the management can do but to accept and give it to him, unless they have that courage to send Giannis to any team who's willing to listen and for sure there are teams who can adjust for the sake of that possible trades.

We’ll see. If the team still doesn’t improve, Giannis will probably end up leaving. He’s still in his prime, and I’m sure a lot of teams would go after him. I think the Warriors would actually be a good fit, he’d be surrounded by shooters, and he could dominate inside, grab offensive boards, and defend the bigs. That’s where he’s strongest.
