Since the Rockets are a messed up already, do you think Harden would be traded to the other team, or the 76ers as per this article.

I just thought about this one, years ago, players are complaining about a 82 gruelling games and saying that they want it to be reduced. Now it's 72 and their wish have been granted but it happened on this circumstances, everyone should be in the lockdown in their hotel, and have safety protocols in place before they need not to infect each other.

Perhaps the reason why players complained in the first place is that they think that 82 games, some back to back games are really harmful for them specially when some players enter the playoffs not healthy because of the long games and some experience a bad injury that will sideline them.

So we will see how others will react now, last season it was the Miami who shock us, we don't know if they can do it again. But certain teams are doing good in the bubble to say the least, so it's time for other teams to really adapt in the new environment.

The second half of last year season was more of an adjustment, and team didn't re-adapt I would say, specially the Bucks. So this is back to zero, so we will see how the team are going to change or transform their team in the bubble season.

Regular season is different from the Playoffs or also called as "post season".
The top 8 teams from the regular season in both conferences will play against each other in the playoffs  until they reach the Finals in which the top team from the East and Western conference are competing for the trophy.

Well, NBA also needs to get back on its feet.
They lost a lot and they want the profits back.
It's still about the money of course. That is priority.
Also, I think they want to resume faster to adjust everything back to normal.
Remember, October should have been the start of the season but because of the pandemic they need to adjust.

I think Adam Silver also agrees changing the system but it needs time to be implemented.

Well having more games won't answer that or having an earlier season. The stadiums from what I know will still have empty seats only to be filled in by virtual fans watching them. These teams in order to earn money need to have revenue from ticket sales which they won't have. Their merchandise as well will also be hit because of the financial problems and the issues regarding going out in their homes so I doubt this was they want on having a shorter offseason. For me they just see their timeline as them being behind schedule that's why they did this thing for the offseason.

I feel like 5 game first round series have been talked a lot in the previous years when parity wasn't like this, it was mainly like "warriors and who?" for a while and the answer was cavs, for the past 5-6 years before the covid season it was basically just first rounds were as regular as regular season was.

However with this bubble season making everything a bit more fun and a bit more close, maybe that 5 game idea is shelved once again I don't know. I could say that there are series that I think should go to 7 game and fun, but then there are series that are very boring and should be done within as quick as 3 games let alone 5. However considering the parity is back on track, they will probably keep the 7 game series for all arounds.

I am sure it might limp the Rockets initially but something good could still happen with deals like this.

But there's no official statement that it's the actual date and month for the next season. The date given is still tentative so it can change depending on the situation about covid-19.

Yes, playoff series shouldn't be reduced as this is where we test the mettle of each team. And a 7 game series makes in more exciting and teams can make a comeback. So I don't like the playoff series reduce. We already seen regular games turn into 72 games and I think that is enough for players.

Chemistry is what they are going to build when 2 superstars are playing in one team, Embiid had some chemistry problem with Ben Simmons therefore one of them should go, and it should be Simmons for sure as Embiid is more valuable than him.

For Rockets i dont see for this thing to be a good one and they will surely be crippled on losing one of their best players.

We will never know, maybe at the start they will, but once they were able to rebuild their team, in time they will surely improve.

I solely agree about the playoffs reduction. They should get more viewers by that series of the league. It's the most time where fans are excited to tune in to the league. Then the pattern goes with the semi-finals up to the finals. I'm doubting the fixed matches to prolong an entire series but who knows if they are for real. But they need to reconsider their decision if the season is coming with those changes, they should be static with the playoffs.

It's official now. NBA and NBPA agree to start next season on December 22, and signings with free agents will start on November 22. So, we will see very soon, which rumors are true.
