I know they will do that effectively, Lebron and the Lakers is so hype right now, the Heat has nothing to lose here but if they will continue to play their game, they might give the Lakers a hard time and even take the NBA Championship this season.

it is David and Goliat fight in the final, and Miami does not have anything on stake to lose, they make it to the final, widely unexpected, so they can play without pressure, and first two matches are really important for their nerves, if they win one of the first two, series could go to a lot of matches, otherwise could end up pretty fast, we will see, but Miami has their chance, not much, but when you reach the final, you are not there to surrender

I won't think that way, there is no home court advantage, it's different from the usual set up where when you are in the road you need to win at least 1 game and the home team needs to win both so when they travel on the road they can still even the series back home if they lose the two.

Here, it's likely to see a sweep since they are playing on the same court every game, they are too familiar with it already and if one team is too dominant, they might win easily, just like the Lakers, they are so dominant but we need to see the game 1 first.

Miami Heat just won. Conference finals ended, now we're at the 2020 finals.

Lakers vs Heat.

Most are Lakers here?
Not sure, there are fans that's really hate Lakers regardless of who are they going to face. But to be fair with Miami, they are underrated and that's make them very dangerous. They have a experience coach and everyone is really contributing. So don't count them out yet, they might pull the biggest surprised this season. Herro and Robinson are fun to watch as well, so I'm sure this is going to be a close series.
I forgot about the haters. True, that whichever is the roster for the team haters gonna be haters forever.

We will start to see the clash of this finals within a couple of days.

Just some news about Doc Rivers getting kicked.

--> https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/29995818/was-doc-rivers-really-problem-la-clippers
Yes, whatever team Lebron goes, there will always be haters. And there will always who are going to downplay his accomplishments, how many time did Lebron appear in the finals? Yeah 10 finals appearance. As for Doc Rivers, just sad to hear this news, but there are too high expectations for the LA Clippers team specially for this year as they have close all the gap in their team and they have build the way they wanted, but still fall short. He has a good assistance coach in Ty Lue so I hope he do get the position.

They are the fifth seed and they were able to rise and reach the finals. So it's obvious that there are no pressures for them. They will definitely play like the usual games they have before reaching the finals, team effort - and that's about it. They also have a experience coach, so he knows that stakes as much as the players do. Lakers is the favorite but it won't be that easy for them.

Miami is at disadvantage in terms of line up. Pretty sure they could make it to championship lebron's strong teammates. Not only good key players but also tall and can shoot even at 3 pointer area. Miami has only butler and few good rookie like duncan and herro. I think in this championship game if they can make more shots especially in the 3 pointer area then lakers could had difficulties to win the championsion and might be able to push the series into game 7.

They are the underdog, so what? Man, they have nothing to lose here, they aren't expected by many to be in the Finals since the hype was all on the teams with best standing like the Lakers and Bucks, well, Bucks has the best record but they beat them.

I like the heat here, I read somewhere, I don't know if it's from reliable source but coach of Boston said that Heat are playing like the GSW.

So with that, I am optimistic that Heat has a chance to beat the Lakers.

If you are a Miami fan, you should be optimistic as your team is the underdog here. I can say that Heat is an underrated team and they have something to show against the Lakers. If it was Bucks vs Lakers, the series odds could be exciting, but fellas, look who's here, it's the Heat, the underdog which gives better odds for the winning, so if you are bucks fans, maybe side with the Heat here.

For Bucks fans then it surely be divided neither they would go for Heat or Lakers and if we do recall Heat beat up Bucks with just a single win.Even on the opening round of playoffs they had already sweep out Pacers
and continued to semis until hitting up on the ECF with Boston.Everybody didnt really expect for sure on what they had done.

Heat would be the underdog on here which theres no doubt on that but basing of the odds then i would say that it is worth to put up some bets on this team.Facing up Lakers on Finals
would really be tough but as said they arent losing something on here yet everyone havent able to believe on what they had reached until this moment.

I cant wait up for tomorrows match.

If Miami will continue the way they've played from all those series that they've finished for sure the chance to win is still there.

Unpredictable if whom will triggered the shot. they played well as ball rotations really bring them the right open shots to take.
The good thing also is that they are trusting each other and really helping to whatever helps that they can bring while inside the court.

But they will also need to suddenly change the pace of defense.
This Lakers team attacks so fast and there will be a lot of fast breaks that will come.

It will be in a different level since Lebron and Davis are in good chemistry. They might want to find someone who can stop Davis while also defending the huge Howard or McGee.
The Heat cannot just be like Houston with a small line up or they will end up with the same results.

I've just noticed those memes that I've seen on social media pages. It's about Kostas and Jr Smith. Another who's sharing with those vibes? I'm not demeaning them.

But these meme makers are very funny to think of those memes with these two, I mean there's a lot of it but because it's the finals. These two were noticed.

Well, you better share that memes here as I didn't see it.

Jr. Smith? what about him, making costly mistakes again in the NBA Finals? I wish he will be high again so Miami has a chance.. but I doubt he will get good minutes this time, haven't seen him playing in the Nuggets series though.
It's just about those memes about Jr Smith that he got through the finals without that much contribution.

And for Kostas, he just beaten his brother Giannis and he's the one who made it to the finals and likely to get the finals ring.

I think this comes down to Lebron and Davis vs Jimmy Butler and I'll take two superstars over one ( and I love Jimmy Butler as a Bulls fan ) but I think Lebron and the Lakers take this down and we once again have to hear about all this nonsense that Lebron is the Goat ( MJ is the goat and this inevitable champ win by Lebron wont change that ).

Jimmy is good but he will not be defending Lebron more often, the best gift Miami had this season was getting a healthy Andre Iguodal because he "owns" Lebron, in fact I had already put my bet in the NBA Finals for Andre Iguodala to win Finals MVP.

Also, coach spo knows Lebron, he was his coach when Bron played with Miami, this is a great interesting series and I'm expecting that this will happen again.

Andre Iguodala is worst NBA Finals MVP in last 30 years

Yeah but that's not really my point. My point is that championships are won by superstars (yes of course there are always exceptions but for the most part this tends to hold true).  That said I'm probably the biggest Andrea Iguadala fan here on bitcointalk being from the same hometown as Andrea and being the same age I used to watch him play against my high school/buddies and just absolutely destroy us.  He might be the worst Finals MVP ever but man he has had one hell of a career.  I hope you hit on your bet.

That I don't agree much.
Superstars are a big plus but it is still won by a team play.
Remember, GSW ain't a superstar team when winning their first championship. I don't even know Draymond Green or Klay Thompson back then.
Then, there is Pistons as a good example with Billups, Rip, Prince and the Wallace's.
Another is the Mavs finishing the 3 musketeers of Miami (Lebron, Wade and Bosh).  Grin

I see a chance for Miami here but they will need to be ready by a bombard of offense and defense. Choking will be the reason they will be swept. Nothing more.

I am sure Bucks fans would probably want Lakers to win, for two reason (one bigger and one smaller) ; one reason is Miami beat bucks and they would want Miami to lose, if bucks couldn't get it then the team that beat bucks shouldn't get it neither, who would want the team that eliminated you to be happy? They would rather see them miserable.

The other reason is at least one bucks player wants Lakers to win personally, don't know if this affects anyone else, giannis' brother plays for Lakers, which means Giannis would want his brother to have a ring as well, why wouldn't he want his brother to be happy, I know Kostas is not really a great player and would probably not get even a single minute but at the same time it is still a ring and doesn't really matter how much you contributed.

We never now until we seen them playing.

They are small but they also rotate well, unlike Rockets who mostly focused with WB and Harden, Miami works as a team,
they are very good in all aspects even they are the underdog they keep showing up and compete hardly.

If Miami is going to lose this finals, I do hope that they won't get sweep though. There's a lot of factors in this match. Can Miami defend a team like Lakers that is too quick and a good defensive team as well? Who are going to guard Lebron or Davis?

As for the odds, yes don't sleep on Miami yet, they are a live underdog. There's no superstar in the team, but that is good enough to bring them into the finals. I remember Jimmy Butler's interview during their series against the Bucks and the man is full of confidence on his team. Now we know what he is talking about. And it seems he found his home in Miami and a click with coach Erik Spoelstra. And I think he will be the difference for Miami, if will go on to win and upset LA.

I agree, they do have good rotations but lets see if they would really be effective against Lakers defense to see that they arent small guys.I also noticed that Herro is still
not really that confident on attacking the rim but basing off on passing rotation then theres none i can comment on.

On my own view, they can at least get a win..Wont be surprised if they would be sweeped but for sure they would really make a good fight but who knows if the table would turn upside down
but in reality its really hard to believe that they would lost this one.Basing off on players body structure alone then you can tell the difference specially on plays below the basket.

--> https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/29995818/was-doc-rivers-really-problem-la-clippers
There's a graphic info that I've seen that Lebron got 10 total finals appearances.  And he managed to appear for 8 consecutive times in the finals. Dated 2011-2018. That's why I've looked for that info and I can't understand why he's getting a lot of haters despite his achievements.

I've seen the source on Wikipedia --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LeBron_James

People putting an * to his achievements started when he switched team and "took his talent to South Beach". They saw that as running away and never really forgot and moved on. It's the same thing with how people see Kevin Durant's championship with the Warriors.

I'm personally not a fan of both players but, hey, they gotta do what they need to do to win. Pride or ego alone won't get you a ring.

Is anyone aware of this situation? Dion Waiters could get a ring regardless of Heat-Lakers result. Such a lucky dude,  Cheesy

Quote
There is no shortage of subplots in the upcoming NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat. Most of them center on LeBron James and the team he left six years ago, which he is facing now in the NBA Finals. But one of the more frivolous, but entertaining storylines, is the case of Dion Waiters’ two teams from the 2019-20 season facing each other in the Finals. And in theory, even if the Lakers lose, the Miami Heat players could vote to include Dion Waiters in their Finals financial bonuses and to give Waiters a championship ring.

Also according to this, Andre Iguodala on facing LeBron James in Finals:

Quote
Since the 2015 Finals, no defender has guarded James more than Iguodala, who has held James to 44% shooting on 139 field goal attempts, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

So good stats by Iggy against James, however, we didn't see his full extent if he can still go against Lebron at his age now. So it will be a interesting matchup and see if that stats hold.
