I don't anymore see that Lebron had a successful last shot, in the season where the Lakers won a championship, it was Davis who made the last shot and a game-winner (I know you guys still remember that). Lebron is great, no question about that, but he is not a clutch player like Kobe and Jordan, sorry to say but it's the reality.

But on that championship run, Lebron was the Finals MVP. Being not a clutch is not really an issue as long as in every game, Lebron is consistent and making good averages. It's just become an issue that Lebron needs to be clutch because he was compared in the level of Kobe and Jordan. He is notably carrying an average team into winnings and that was a reality.

I guess the era of superteams is over. Underdog teams, composed with perfect complimentary players could actually beat the superteam now.

No disrespect to the Phonenix suns but they had an easy journey going to the NBA Finals, in all the teams they played in the west, at least one of the star players was injured.

Well, that can be considered as the Lakers were the favorites to win in that series, but because Davis got injured, the Phoenix suns were able to take advantage of the undermanned Lakers. Actually, they might win the NBA Finals if Giannis did not come back from injury, but that guy was tough, he does not want to give that opportunity to the Suns and they did take the championship in 4 straight wins.

Yes, that's true, but I believe that these days LeBron James is an excellent player, maybe he's not in his prime, but I have no doubt that he still has the capacity to be the MVP or maybe the MVP of the finals in his future.

Talking about Westbrook, I also believe that he has already accepted that he will not be the team leader.
But honestly I don't expect what happened with Irving and LeBron when they both played in Cleveland to happen to Westbrook.

@freedomgo , You have a valid point. Even I'm also curious what he and also the team management think right now. Ben is undoubtedly an important player for the team but his behavior sometimes hamper the team and the team morale as well. So he coming to the practice is obviously a good sign, at least better than him not coming right? And as far as I know the Sixers won't trade him unless they get a good enough deal.

What good news, I'm glad everything is apparently fine. I am excite that Ben Simmons has introduced himself to the team and that he will soon be active again!

We will see, their first game will be on Oct. 20 against the Pelicans on the road.

Simmons being able to attend the practice would mean positive or negative for the team as that depends on his contribution to the team. He still has that talent and he can contribute in areas where the team needed him, so without him, or him getting limited minutes, that's a gamble for the team.

I expect the drama to resurface again hehe.

Sixers will trade Ben once trade opens again. That is based on my assumption that Sixers didn't get acceptable offers from other teams which is why they didn't let him go. That could change but that largely depends on Ben's performance.

I think people were too harsh on him. Okay, defensively, he is definitely gifted especially with his passing abilities, sight on the court, and basketball IQ. Though he can drive into the rim and finish, he does lack the necessary shooting ability midrange or on threes. Though this may be practiced through and developed early on, I do think that Ben Simmons can outweigh such skill with his athleticism and height.

Due to the dominance of three-point shots in the NBA, it's like most players should be hitting threes. Heck, even Centers now are practicing three-point shots!

That's true, Simmons is not perfect but he still belongs to the stars in the NBA, the reason why he got that huge contract with the 76ers. His FT shooting is bad and not a good 3 point shooting, but look at the other side, his rebounding, defense, and assists are his major contributions to the team, what's important is that the coach just has to manage him properly so he will be effective. Just wondering, why we haven't seen this problem before coach Rivers arrived in 76ers?
