They'll be less unpredictable with Kyrie Irving back on the floor as he can spread the floor, you can't play one on one with Kyrie and he will dance with you, so he is really a big piece for the success of the Nets as they build a big 3, without him, there's no big 3. I'm not actually impressed with their win as the Pacers do struggle this season so far.
Obviously, without Kyrie, I doubt the Nets would win in the ECF this season. We've seen the series between the Nets and the Bucks, they were playing very well with Irving but when he got injured, things were different and the Bucks took that opportunity to beat the Nets. Same story this season, the Bucks might just dominate them again if the problem with Kyrie will not be solve in time. No. The Nets will not win the ECF without Kyrie. We've already seen the effects of Kyrie not playing for them and we've also seen Harden exposed by the new rules of the game so without Kyrie, they will not be the ECF champions. It might be the Bucks again I think. If Kyrie will not play, it will be the Bucks Vs. Warriors in the NBA Finals . I know I know it might be too early to say but this is only my prediction (and because I'm a Warrior fan as well and I would love to see them back in the playoffs after how many years). A lot of offensive player including Harden was exposed with the new rules because they are not getting the calls they want. So no more easy points for them going into the free throw. I agree though that Bucks might be in the finals again in the West, 76ers are inconsistent, Hawks as well (same case with T. Young), maybe the young Bulls and the Knicks will be on the top 3 right now in the East. As for Warriors, they could pull an upset in the East, if they continue to play fluid offense, although they've lost the last time, it was really close.

GSW vs Bucks? come on man, we don't know yet if Klay Thompson would be an asset against or just a burden when he comes back, so I would not think that GSW will advance in the NBA Finals until I see it. Last season, they don't have Klay Thompson and they failed to qualify in the playoffs as they lose against Memphis in a qualification match. I agree, although I want to see GSW return to their previous championship run, it will be very difficult path in the West as there are a lot of competitive teams right now. Unlike before wherein they completely dominated with Steph and Klay, now we haven't seen how Klay is after two years of recovering from any injury. So let's wait first for Klay's return in November or early next year as reported.

This Nets game is hard to watch. Everyone outside of the stars is struggling badly. I think they’re being exposed for their lack of a big man now that DeAndre Jordan left and without Kyrie they struggle to find the role players open shots. I think they’re going to have to figure out a way to get Kyrie on the court and look to sign a big man somehow or it could end up being a rough year for them.
They still have big man in Aldridge although he isn't fast enough though compare to other bigs out there and we know what happened last year to him. It might again become a hindrance for him to be healthy all throughout the season. Overall, his height with additional perimeter shooting is just good for the team. I just watched the highlights of the Nets and I think you're right. If they want to get the championship, they must make a way to get back Kyrie and play again. Just by seeing their roster, if either KD or Harden will get injured the team can't compete against playoff contender teams. I really do not think that they even need a big man to be fair. They could have gotten some people or kept Jordan if they wanted to, they are already big enough that they do not care about bigs anymore and doing fine. Plus they have KD, he is both big and small at the same time, he is big in size but plays as fast as most guards even though he is in his like 12th season or something, been around for a while. I would say that it is clear to me Nets will be fine, sure they are having trouble right now but Lakers are having the same trouble as well, when you rebuild a whole team for ring chasing then you are going to have some small chemistry issues and it is going to be fine. I know that people expected them to be awesome right off the bat but they will definitely get much much better gradually and not instantly, we just need to wait and see them grow together.

It is really good to see Westbrook gathering strength lately. Last night, Lakers got a home game against Cavs and beat them by 113-101. And Carmelo Anthony also had a really awesome game. He got 24 points and 5 rebounds. He was nearly becoming the top scorer of his team but Lebron was by 26 points. Westbrook got 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists which was really good for him. Maybe he will have a hard time returning to his old days in terms of scoring. But he can still make a big contribution to the team as long as he keeps up a good form.

He has no problem with that, in fact, if you look at the OKC vs Lakers game, Westbrook had contributed the following. rebounds - 14 (10 def- 4 offensive) assists - 13 points - 20.. That's a triple-double, but they still lose in this game. So it's still better if he will not be back with his old stats as long as they win. see the compete stats here https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/boxscore/250619

LeBron and Davis are still the main men of this team. Westbrook and Melo are both needed to contribute. When the play was designed for them, they need to execute with high percentage outcomes. Still in the early stage of this new season, more adjustments and more good plays for everyone. Focusing on team efforts and not just on the individualities of each star.

Well, most NBA fans has been blinded by how Russell still very effective with his role in LA because of his excessive turnovers. The Lakers is indeed struggling both offensively and defensively. They tend to be lost with their own system at some point of the game, and that's where they get advantaged of. Nevertheless, the addition of these former superstars in LA in effective. What they need to improve is their team chemistry. If the Lakers could bring back the intensity of their defense just like in 2020, they could become a tough team to beat.

What happened to the Dallas Mavericks? I was expecting a very close game but it's just a one sided beatdown.
Luka needs help badly. I think the Mavs trusted in his ability to carry the team too much. There's really nobody else when he struggles. I thought the likes of Hardaway Jr. could help out but that's still not the case unfortunately. Kristap is also unreliable even if healthy.

Spurs are still losing, we had a good win early on but then lost 4 now. Most games end with us losing by only a few points and we usually lead by a lot early on in the games as well. I am pretty sure that there could be some correlation between the team being so young and not too experienced versus being not so great at late games as well.
However, some of the players are getting to that age where people start to fight for MVP title at that age, jokic, giannis all ended up getting MVP at early age, Luka looks like he might get it with one great season with his team, so all in all the core is very young I agree but not "too" young anymore.
Spurs will be fighting Detroit for worst in the league this year probably. They just don't have the pieces to compete. Yeah they won't epically lose but the odds will definately be stacked against them this year. Don't know what the over under for wins for them this year but I'd say the under would have been a good play.

Right, he can't do it alone every game, someone needs to step up, like Hardaway and Kristap, but they too has been struggling at the beginning of the season. So that is very dangerous for the Mavs right now. And Denver as well have been in the losing skid, just about time to end it with a big win against the Dallas Mavericks. They have the reigning MVP, so they will continue to find a win and take advantage of their opponents struggling, like in this case the Mavs.

The Wizards won the Celtics by 3 points. This match was impressive, especially during the last minutes. Beal and Dinwiddie scored important shots, then Caldwell-Pope made a decisive block on Brown in the final seconds of the second overtime. By the way, the Celtics were let down by three-point shooting throughout the match because they scored only 2 out of 26. I think that was the main reason for their defeat in this match.

You are definitely right, Luka cannot do everything to himself. Though he may be considered as the best player on the court, basketball is a team game where everyone must contribute and help each other in order to win. Though it is still the start of the season and some players are still honing their team chemistry (Lakes, I'm looking at you), I do see that Denver can be a title contender in the playoffs with their deep bench and skill.

Yes, it was very exciting game between the two teams, when you thought that the Wizards are going to win with that 3 by Kuzma in the corner and Brown fouling Beal and have a 4 point cushion. Then Jalen comes back, score back to back basket to force an overtime. And then they have a good lead in the 1st OT but bad luck, they can't score after a good lead of 6. And then Wizards closing them out in the second overtime.

I love Luka just as much as the next person but he's sometimes disengaged whenever he's not on ball and that's something that has been neglected by fans too much. This is the reason why Porzingis was struggling last season and why role players find it hard to be consistent.

I don't think it's Luka's fault though, maybe they really need to surround him with positive and consistent players. If I'm not mistaken, Hardaway sign a contract extension this year, so he should be the one backing up Luka and providing offense too. But at the start of the season, we haven't seen him exploding yet. On KP, that has been the case for him last year, hopefully he can be a factor this season. He is too soft and oftentimes just standing there watching Luka doing his magic.

They beat them twice this season and now the Washington Wizards are leading the Eastern Conference along with Knick they are now 5-1. The funny thing about the match today is when "Montrezl Harrell yelled "you're trash!!" to his former teammate Dennis Schroder" Source: NBA BUZZHow quickly do they forget each other?

A typical Wizards that showing good start then chocke from mid game to playoffs, This kind of player is a cancer to NBA and they are the reason why some young talent are being discouraged to perform well. They are the bully players that don't have a consistent good performance that's why they are just doing this kind dirty gesture to avoid attention from them. We saw many players like this before and they are currently on bench or early retired.

Denver still stand a better chance of wining big even after the massive failure though but these will need extra skills and improvised tactics in the game

But after the all star break, they went on a winning streak, not sure if it's 7-8, but I did make a good profits betting on them because they are always the underdog. And then they made the playoffs with Beal + WB. So I'm not sure why you call them bully though, they've been trying to get into the playoffs contention. About Harrell saying to Dennis, just part of the game to trash talk specially your former team mates.
