The Nets getting clobbered by the Raptors right now. James Harden is once again looking terrible. Between the Nets and the Lakers losing games, and LeBron James sitting around tweeting about football instead of his team’s struggles is definitely not where I saw this season going. I can only hope we see a good matchup in the Finals and that these struggles for both teams are temporary.

KD carrying the team right now and has taken the lead. The man is pretty reliable regardless of the changes in the rules unlike his other teammate.
Great to see Vanvleet still doing some good damage after his performance in their championship run. If only the Nets or Lakers had someone like him hehe.

Nope, actually it was James Harden (of course Durant as well), who put big numbers, specially down the stretch with less than 2 minutes when the Raptors are trying to make a come back. Hits a jumper and then another 3 to stop a 7-1 run by the Raptors. Nets now on a 4 game winning streak even without Kyrie Irving.

Harden with 28, Durant with 31.

Warriors are really good this season, tbvh... but I wouldn't place a bet even if they're offered at 5-8 Odds to be the best in the regular season, there is a lot more too the season than the first 10 games or thereabout, can they afford to lose a couple of starters to injury and be able to hold out games ?

If they are able to keep their starters healthy for 75% of the season, then maybe they can make the top 3 best team, imo.

Yeah, but for those who have a -3.5 bet on the Mavs, he shouldn't take it and win. At least force OT and then win by 4 points. 

And I am one of those who bet beyond -3.5, that's why I am rooting for overtime instead of a buzzer-beater. 

The Golden State Warriors is really looking awesome. It's a sure win, it's still not over yet but with a 20 point lead against the Houston Rockets with Iguodala not even playing this will be over in a blown-out game.
Rockets may have been playing against other teams in a close game but this time they are in an off-night situation. A lot of missed free throws are being wasted that could have made the lead a little closer. 23/35.

Because they are still on adjustment period and basketball is supposed to be play by teamwork not by bunch of players that competing each other within there teammates just to show off. I mean Melo and Westbrook are both good players individually but we know that both of them is craving to get the spotlight and they are just forced to adjust there game style just to sync on a team. Only LBJ can work this roster since he is the leader. Without him, This team will surely suffer because most of there players has been an All Star so they usually follow there own individual decision that they think better to win the match even though they are not synchronised.

That Clippers game was something else. They finished on a 27-4 run to comeback and beat the Charlotte Hornets. After the game the coach for the Hornets said they were just missing shots at the end of the game and there was no other explanation for the breakdown… Paul George had another great night, barely missing a triple double with 20-9-8 as his final stat line.

We've seen some teams collapsing in the 4th quarter, whether in their backyard or not. And it makes the game more exciting.

I witnessed a lot of games this season with the same scenario, these are the games I remembered.

1. OKC come back win against LA Lakers.
2. Bulls come back win against the Celtics
3. Suns come back win against the Pelicans.
4. and lastly, the Warriors come back win against LA Clippers, though the lead is not much.

Anyone, have you ever consided PG as one of the top contender for regular season MVP?

^^ Well if he could bring statistical numbers, ppg, rebounds, assist and then bring his team to the top without Kawhi Leonard. If he will produce this then perhaps he will be considered for the MVP race this year.

It will be tough race though, we have Luka, Jokic (although his team is like struggling), Steph leading the scoring and could be 2nd straight year with that accolade. Of course Giannis and then Bron. If will be very close and I don't think we will have a majority MVP this year.

Back in the years where they are still dominating the league, they are a very dangerous team because of the fact their 3rd quarter explosions.
There is a time where the Warriors are very dangerous when the 3rd quarter comes because that is the time where they will shoot threes or score more.

Now we are seeing it again. If you will see the 3rd quarter scoring of Warriors in their last 5 games, they outscored 4 of their opponents thus getting a huge lead coming into the 4th quarter and winning the game. The only game where they lost in 3rd quarter is against the Grizzlies where they ended up losing the game.

When the 3rd quarter comes, watch out for the Warriors because they will explode. They will shoot threes, outscored their opponent. That is one of the reasons why they are winning and other teams must do something.

For sure Wiggins will get limited minutes that's why the GSW management will think about getting inside help since they already have more shooters in their current rooster.

The management does not have to make a decision right away, they have to check on the performance of Klay Thompson if he can still be close to his old self and produce good numbers with the team. Klay is coming from a serious injury, he won't get back his confidence right away, so in this situation, they still need Wiggins to contribute for the team like he usually does.

His shooting consistency did not change, he is still good with his 3 point shooting but the real game is different, the opposite team will put a defender on him, it could be an aggressive defender or could double him, therefore he needs to still be quick enough to shoot the ball as that's really his special skills. Also, his defense is good but with the injury he suffered, I don't expect to see him still the same good defender as he was.

I thought he was going to change a bit when he lead the PPG of GSW at last years play in tournament but again, his inconsistency came out.

That wouldn't create an impact on the team at all as GPII is not even a starter, he only makes over $1 million a year while Wiggins makes $31 million this year. When bench players it doesn't impact much on the team, so it's not a big deal, check out the salary of players and this is one of the best basis for trade potential.

Ahhh, my PG13. Well, that was an extended win streak now and I do hope it will continue as well as PGs stat. He's currently on the 3rd for PPG and FGM, 2nd on SPG, 7th on EFF.

I think the possibility is he'd be but I think that number will reduce once Kawhi is there now helping him. Steph isn't the one leading on scoring it's on Durant by now. We are still 8-10 games for the regular season being played and stats would change drastically after 20 or more games. For MVP candidate, never miss Caruso LOL! Well, tbh I guess on the likes of Durant, Jokic, Giannis, Curry, are in that race.

IMO, Durant should be in the top 1 now being a contender in the MVP race, he is very efficient and he can make at least 30 points per game without a problem. Giannis and Jokic, they are not so consistent yet, their teams struggles a bit but Durant keeps winning for his team and getting good numbers.
