This match will definitely be difficult for the Lakers. However, if Russell Westbrook doesn't make a lot of turnovers in this match, then they will have a good chance to win the Heat. At least I hope the Lakers will prove that they can beat a strong opponent without Lebron James.

That's a big if, lol.

I'm actually a pretty big Russ fan, and I think that the energy that he brings onto the court is contagious... But I'm the first to admit that he is definitely not the most efficient scorer of the basketball.

He needs to realize that it's not all stats. Take care of the ball, and don't care about assists/points/averaging a triple double.

I agree with Shaq there. Jokic doesn't need to feel "too bad" for what he did. That was a dirty move and as a man, it's just normal to react like that. This isn't a big issue at all when we were in the 90s but we have social media now where people can also join to escalate the issue and now things got complicated when everyone has their own comment about what happened. Lakers won the game, IIRC, this is the first time that they win against a legit playoff team this season, so I'm happy for them as they give the heat a tough match and they won at home even without Lebron. Melo is really valuable for the team he stepped up in the Absence of Lebron.

Also, what's noticeable in this game is Westbrooks triple-double with 21 points, 14 assists, and 12 rebounds, however, the TO is too high with 8 in this game. Congrats to the Lakers and the backers who trust them despite being the underdog in this game.

Notable scorers are Edwards who has 48 points and I think that is his new career-high (correct me) and Wiggins who got 35 points and its his new season high.

The Warriors are now at the top of the standings with 10-1 but most of their games are with the teams who are below 500 last season like the Kings, Thunder, Pelicans, Timberwolves, Rockets. Lets wait for the Warriors to match up against teams who are at the top right now which will be their next game against the Bulls 2 days from now. We know how strong the Bulls are right now so the Warriors will be tested if they will extend their win streak or it will be over.

Anyway, lets give some credits to GPII for how he good he is right now. Gary Payton II is playing good minutes with the Warriors right now. He is a good full court defender and in fact the players who he defended has a lower performance than their usual ones. He is also a high flyer with amazing highlight dunks.

Have you guys watched the game between Warriors and Wolves? Wiggins outplayed most of the players and made a statement against his former team. While i did mention about the development of Wiggins being in plateau, this is one of those games that provides a glimmer of hope to his future.

On another note, Anthony Edwards is just simply a beast. Dude's unstoppable with his drives and shooting ability but they were no match against the whole bench and squad of Warriors.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that game against the Timberwolves is probably the best game of Wiggins and the only game that some people do not criticize him anymore. When a player is paid a lot, he is also has a lot of critics, and that is normal, so his job is to contribute the best he can and Wiggins in this game just prove he is too much to handle for his old team.

While Klay is recovering from his injuries, I think that they are considered the Big 3 right now or maybe we might add Green as well since he is also a part of the Big 3 when the Warriors are dominating. Big 3 + 1 would be better .

TBH, these Warriors team are more deadly and unpredictable right now compare to where it was years ago when they are still dominating the league. They have more three point shooters now, another thing is that most of the teams are focusing on Curry that they are forgetting other players. Because he attracts players with his running around, there are times that somebody will be open and they will be the one to shoot. Curry is like a bait and that works.

With another superstar beside Edwards and Towns and some better players around them, they might become a playoff contender. Edwards has the potential to be a superstar. Its just that he doesn't have enough help coming from the team. This kid is unstoppable and its not surprising knowing that he is the top pick in the draft last 2020.

In the absence of Lebron James, I think that it was still a great game last night. Lakers hosted one of the best teams of the current season which are Miami Heat. The normal time ended 112-112. And after overtime, Lakers managed to defeat their tough opponent by a slight gap like 3 points (120-117). Malik Monk was one of the shining players at Lakers as he was the most scorer of his team (27 pts). And Westbrook made a really delightful triple-double too (25 pts, 12 reb, 14 ast).

It's his former team and former teammates. Maybe he should start thinking about every team to be his former team and that way he could be consistent on every game. 
This ain't the first that he did a monster game but it's really rare which still makes you doubt his ability. While talking about the Warriors team now, another former Warrior performed well to give the Hornets a win against the Grizzlies. Kelly Oubre Jr. 37 points 7/9 outside shots.

He just showed his former team his true value. Wiggins showcasing what he really capable,

that's numbers earlier are closer to the numbers that he is making when he still playing alongside with KAT.
After being traded, correct me, but this the only time I saw him producing these numbers really showcases his value to GSW.

Critics are now finding other reasons to criticize him, but if he will keep improving and keeps doing what he is capable his numbers

The Lakers has yet to make a good game. All of their games I can say is pretty bad. However, they have pulled a W in most of these games.
Well, is it a sign that they've got a good chances of them gel together to become a tough team. Maybe yes maybe no. Just like what you said, they aren't fully healthy since the start of the season. THT just cleared to play, and the Lakers still have Ariza who hasn't played a single game this season.
So, I guess they have still a chance to change the system from what we have seen from them so far.
