It was great seeing Steph Curry become the all time leader in made 3 pointers.  I think everyone has considered him the best long range shooter that basketball has ever seen for quite some time now, but seeing him begin extending his gap over #2 Ray Allen in the record books is something else.  He's still relatively young to be the all time leader in anything.  I have a feeling he's going to be smashing that record into pieces before he's done...  Imagine having 5+ years to just extend an all time record...  Amazing accomplishment.

So true. He is now making a record that will be difficult for the next era to break. It takes a lot of hard work to be on that kind of level and this is proof that he is not stopping just yet even though he already has 3 championship trophies to boast with.
He wants more and never stopped to be competitive. More broken records and more rings to fit both hands. Next will be Klay and I hope he will be back as early as possible with a healthy body to have a chance in trying to break Ray and Curry's records.

And with Curry's phase, he is on the 400++ made shots again. Last time he did this was 2015-2016 season. So imagine the gap that he will put between him and Ray Allen, it could really be hard to break in the next coming generations unless we see another shooter comes along. But we all know that this kind of talents doesn't came that much often in sports. Only James Harden, Dame Lillard and Lebron are the ones active at least in the top 10. Harden in the 4th position.

Utah Jazz has been known for their rally in the 4th quarter but today is not counted since they run out of time as well. I think the addition of Lowry is really a big plus for the Heat because he has so much experience that he can become the leader in the absence of Butler tonight.

And when you have a good game with those two shooters, Herro and Duncan Robinson, it's hard to defeat Miami.

Although there were scary moments wherein the Jazz try to close the gap, but their effect was too late as Miami's lead is too much to recover.

Not a very exciting day for NBA basketball. No nationally televised games and the only decent matchup of the day seems to be the Miami Heat vs the Utah Jazz. Miami has been playing pretty well so I’m not sure about them being 8 point underdogs, but the Jazz are on a mission this year. I think given their struggles over the last couple years this might be the last chance they have to go for it all with both Gobert and Mitchell on the roster.

Clarkson has always been a natural scorer.

It's just that he is very inconsistent, he could be the hottest man on the planet on one night and then completely disappear the next. If he was more consistent, he is a franchise talent for sure.

But the Heat are very impressive indeed. Good comeback after tough losses to Lakers and Clippers.

Yes @yazher !! Herro is an excellent player and has a promising future ahead of him.
Even though he is in some confusion regarding his temperament, I believe he will become more experienced and his performance will improve in the future!

So @hello_good_sir, I know he's been playing well in Jazz lately, I was reminded of his time in Cleveland, and in my humble opinion he wasn't an important player for the Cavs.
Probably in the future, Clarkson will improve, and we can already see that in his performance this NBA season.

Well he did received the 6th Man award last year so I would say that he is consistent coming from the bench. So what do you expect of him when there is this first five, the first option to score for the team? And he will just injected in the game when everything is not working for them.

But in this game, he scored 25 points coming from the bench.

Mitchell only scored 22 points (their first offensive option), and Bognanovic 26 points, more than half in the 4th quarter if I'm not mistaken. So Clarkson did his share in this game against the Heat.

I can't believe that KAT only made 8 points in this game, this game is his lowest production so far this season and that is after he scored 29 points against the LA Lakers where they won by a huge margin. Clippers were able to distribute the points, PG does not need to score 30 points here or more because his teammates were contributing with good numbers this game.

I watched the second half of the Jazz - Heat game last night. And it was very delightful to watch I must admit. In the third quarter, Heat got a great series and the quarter score was 21-37. They were 95-69 ahead before the start of the last quarter. After seeing this huge gap, I took it for granted that Heat would obtain a comfortable victory here. But Jazz made an awesome comeback and decreased the gap to even 4 points when there was a little time left to the end (105-109). Heat made two free-throws and it came to 105-111. And Jazz missed a very critical three-pointer which caused them to lose the game by this score. But I was delighted with the efforts of both teams.

Jazz had played great defense in the fourth quarter but that is not enough for them to win. They outscored the Heat 36-16 in the 4th but the heat already build a good lead which they work consistently in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter. I'm happy with the result actually because I put my bet on the Heat's spread and moneyline.

To be honest, the Cavaliers really did surprise me this season, I thought they are still a bad team but they showed they can be a great team even without a star player. As per ranking of standing, they are now sitting at the number 4 with a 9(w) - 5 (l) record, and of course, it's also impossible for this team to sit at the top 1.

One thing I've learned this season's games is that there are not comfortable lead, any team sitting on a 20 point lead going into the fourth quarter is not totally safe. We have seen huge comebacks as early as less than 20 games already.

What really happen is that the Heat was able to hold off the Jazz, although the Jazz mounted a big comeback it wasn't enough, it could have been closer if Clarkson hit that 3 with 6 seconds remaining.

Yeah, it seems that Rubio is a perfect fit for the Cavaliers right now. But I'm not sure how long they are going to sustained this kind of run. I mean with no legitimate superstar to lead the team, just a group of players who really play hard nosed defense and wait for someone to wax hot like Mobley this time. And they shouldn't let themselves always get into the situation wherein they have to dig deeper and claw back in every game.

Rubio is having the best season of his career in the NBA so far, I hope he'll stay healthy so he can help this young team to grow and be more competitive. I like the Cavaliers because they are underrated now despite already being in a good ranking, and being an underdog is always good to back this team.

This how momentum works plus the adrenaline rush due to the huge score gap. Player is more motivated when they are on pressure which the Jazz show by playing many clutch attacks and rally until 4th quarter. There only problem was closing the game since the gap is already close, They already feel the fatigue in during that constraint play until 4th quarter while heat players has a lot of energy to defend on last 3 minutes. Coaches strategy play a big factor for heat win on that game. He already expected that this will gonna happened that's why he let his player to play it slowly and defend until the last minute of the game since the lead is very huge.

I feel the for those who live bet on Jazz since the odds is very huge that time and they seems gonna win the game.

Warriors won 9 of their last 10 games and on a 7 win streak, it will not stop here even on their first road game.

As long as Curry is healthy and the chemistry is present, nothing can stop the Warriors even the top-rated teams in the NBA. In fact, I can't wait to see the Nets play the Warriors so I can see how would Durant handle his old team who are still undermanned due to Klay Thompson's absence, and by the way that's the next game of the warriors after tonight's game.
