... Lebron doesn't want to carry this team anymore, it just doesn't make sense for him to fight this hard during the regular season, he should be relaxing a bit because he is getting older.
Rumor has it that he's one of the main reason why they sold many of their young cores just so he could get a team of experienced or veteran players. I don't think that's unfounded. He probably thought him, AD and another "superstar" like Westbrook is enough to compete in the league. Lakers took the league lightly and look where they are now. That's a risk they got. There are reports that prior to the NBA season, Westbrook told the Lakers that he will allow be a backup for Lebron and Davis. Actually, he's trying his best but I don't know why he is struggling. It's just that maybe he isn't ready yet as a backup on which it's not his usual gameplay? He is a main scorer on his previous teams and switching to different role might really be a big adjustment that's not easy to do by Westbrook. That might be the situation that he ain't ready to be back up for AD and LBJ because he's used being in command of the team. Still I doubt why he's performing like these, even his usual turnovers can't be seen now. They really got a bad trade, they let their key players go for Westbrook. Unfortunately, the Lakers didn't got what they want and expected, instead they became a joke in the league for being a superteam that doesn't really work out. Look at them now, they're getting bullied by the teams in the league that they used to pick in the recent seasons.

You're certainly right, that was their big mistake as they trade 5 of their keyplayers just for Westbrook alone and they were fine before Westbrook was included in the equation. Also, the fact that they let Caruso and Caldwell-Pope go was indeed a very bad idea as they can be more flexible and useful in times like these so that LeBron can do his own attacks and doesn't carry the team too often.
They are even worse than the LA Lakers' Nash, Kobe, and Dwight. They don't play enough defense. They are relying on their offensive play which doesn't make enough impact either. That Laker line up that became a champion in 2020 could still dominate this season. Too bad they changed their roster completely after the playoffs. Those key players the Lakers traded has been doing great to their respective teams. While everyone who get into the Laker roster has always been struggling except for LeBron. I think the management was really thirsty to get the Championship this season until they made mistakes along the road for building a superteam in hopes that they will dominate every team in the league but sadly the exact opposite happened. Their defense is weak just like their offensive play, seriously if we remove LeBron James in the equation now like for example he's having an injury, I'm quite sure that the Lakers would fall into pieces.

Ben Simmons rumors are heating up... I'm hearing that Sacramento might be willing to deal Fox now and that they might also be willing to take Harris' contract which is a bit ridiculous. There's also supposedly a 3rd team that will be involved, but we'll have to wait and see. Interesting that Simmons to Sacramento seems to keep coming back into play. I think he really wants to be in California and is willing to play for the worst team in California to try and make that happen. It seems like Fox is probably the best player that they'll be able to get back as well, so I think that is ultimately what the end result will be.
I thought initially that if they are going to get Simmons, they are going to partner him with Fox in Sacramento. But it seems that they have change their narratives? But I think its a win win for both teams specially if they will include Tobias Harris in the trade. Again, dealing Harris is for long term for the Sixers as they will clear their salary cap enough to get another big names in the future. Win-win if both will maximize the worth of each player. I doubt or I don't see the value of Harris. It will be a good trade for Sixers as like what you have mentioned they will unload big salary cap which eventually will allow them to allocate more space and sign new star. Though, hopefully Simmons deal will materialize so we can see him back in action, not a big fan, but I love players who can act two-way roles.

They build a super team in terms of papers and popularities, but in reality there's nothing that those added stars contribute. I'm hopeful that finally Melo landed to Lakers, he still has it but the performances of everyone is not impacting to make a win, without AD they are powerless, what more if LeBron will sit and also suffer from another injury, the same thing that happened last season. We might see them ending up much worse than the Kobe, Nash and Howard season..

Sacramento are struggling this season, maybe they'll improve if they have Simmons in their line up, who knows, let's just see. This Ben Simmons saga has been there since the end of the playoffs last year and until now it isn't finished yet. This is longer than the Kawhi Leonard Saga where he went to the Clippers after getting a championship with the Raptors. It think Simmons to Kings and Fox to Sixers would be a good trade. Just 1-on-1 trade between them and I see it as equal as both the teams might utilize their players in their own ways. Just don't let the Kings include Haliburton in this trade or they will be screwed. After giving Fox max contract with the Kings, it seems like he doesn't meet the expectations that the team wants to him. On the other hand if they will put Fox on Sixers then I think he will be a good point guard alongside Seth Curry. He will be a good fit at least with the Sixers. With regards to Simmons? I will not expect too much from him after what happened to him. Its good if we see some improvements from him. Just let Simmons trade and play . Many might be waiting for his improvement if there is .

Perhaps Harris can bring the needed experience is indeed he will be included in the trade here. He may not be what the Sixers expected him to be when they acquire him, but he could be a 10-15 ppg in Sacramento. And yeah, unloading him in Sixers will get them a good cap next year enough to get and sign a new superstar. It's really interesting as where Simmons will go, I guess some of us wanted to see him play this season.

We are about to find out soon, hopefully in a team that has a chance to be in the playoffs so we will see him play against his former team and I would be happy if he can prove them wrong in making a decision to trade him. With a talent like his, he deserves to be in a good team and I hope that will happen so soon.

Well its good if some playoff contender team will get him, nevertheless a losing team this season will not be bad for Ben, as long as he can play. Then start a clean slate next season with a new team, form a bond during off-season and then proved that the Sixers make a bad decision (although Ben has partly to blame with his current situation with the team).

In the absence of Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors had a really hard time against Minnesota Timberwolves last night. Timberwolves defeated them by 119-99. Thompson got 13 points and he is still recovering now. And the other interesting game was Denver Nuggets vs Utah Jazz. And Jazz managed to become the winner at the end by 125-102. But I really loved Jokic's performance in the game. He got 25 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists. A very nice triple-double he got. For the Jazz side, D. Mitchell was in a great shape as he got 31 points. And Gobert also played nicely by a great double-double (18 points, 19 rebounds).

19 rebounds is a dominant performance. That's the reason why the Nuggets were the underdog at home because the best defensive player of the Jazz are already back. Good to see Gobert getting points and rebounds, if he has that kind of stats in the playoffs, they'll be a championship team.

So all eyes are on Ben Simmons again. Why is it that when its about Rich Paul clients, there is always the drama of either force trades and locker room issues. i.e. Anthony Davis, John Wall, and Lebron James. I am against the Fox - Simmons trade. I don't know what Sacramento is up to, but what they need is to surround Fox with good players and not trade him out. He is the future of that team and can be their franchise player. All they need is to move their ass and make some trades with their other players. Yes, his stats may have failed this past few games but that doesn't mean he is all the fault of that. If the trade occurs, I doubt they will be in the playoffs or play in tournament.

The problem is, people always look at one mistake without seeing what Simmons can do in a team in all ends.

If he plays in a team with a low ranking, getting into the playoffs is already a big achievement for them. Success should not be instant, and Simmons cannot be the main man in the team, he is always the robin of batman if you know what I'm saying.

It was reported prior to the game that Steph will take a rest in this game that's why the odds shift to the Wolves being the favourite to win and in the handicap game. So I guess it is to be expected. And now that Rudy Gobert is back in the Jazz lineup, evidently he was a big help to push the Nuggets in their game. Lately the Jazz has this kind of losing streak because most of their players are in the safe and health protocols program. But now they are back in full strength hence a win with a big lead against the struggling Nuggets team.

Rudy Gobert is much needed for the team on the defensive side, without him they cannot win as Jazz mostly are just relying on Mitchell to generate the offense, if he is not playing well, their offense will be affected and without Gobert, their defense would be worse also.

Good to see Gobert getting points and rebounds, if he has that kind of stats in the playoffs, they'll be a championship team. Well, I don't know about a championship team from their performance yet, but they proved they are a tough team. Mitchell is doing great offensively, 30+ points are always a solid sign of a great player. The key point is Jazz had 3 big runs in the game, 15-2 run at the third quarter, and 15-0 and 10-0 runs in the fourth quarter. Also, they managed to keep Nuggets at 14 points in the last quarter and that's how they got this big win. I believe this shows why they are at the 3rd place in the west and I respect their game quite a lot. But talking about championship, they have a lot of very hard competitors. I'm not sure if they are at that level yet.

I lack knowledge about referee rules but this could be a good one to discuss. It is about what happened earlier with Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves. What happened: KAT had the ball and attacked the paint trying to beat the shot clock, the buzzer sounds for a 24-second violation and the light on the backboard was lit yellow while he is still holding the ball. He continued the shot and it went in. Luckily, the ref whistled for a foul and they even reviewed it if the whistle was before the shot clock or after. After review: The whistle was before the shot clock expired. The decision: Basket counts and 1 more free throw. Do you agree? Shouldn't it just be two free throws for KAT and not a bonus? My opinion: If it is a continuation then they should be called for a shot-clock violation. If not, then just a normal shooting foul and 2 free throws.

Perhaps the Kings management has a complete change of heart on Fox now that they are willing to trade him with Simmons + Tobias Harris. And it just shows how indispensable players are in the NBA. One day you are the darling of the management and suddenly the next day you are in the trading block. He is supposedly the leader of the team, unfortunately, in the last couple of days his game really goes down that's why they wanted to have a change and entertain a possible trade involving Fox.

Carmelo and Howard needs more minutes and plays for them to get used in the rotation, but they aren't granted what they need. Instead, the unproductive ones gets to play the game more than them. I don't know why, is it by the management/coach or some issues in the locker room? Nonetheless, they really need AD's presence to tighten their defensive plays but they still should work things out as the playoffs are near approaching and if they do not, then they should give up their chance this season.
