They are playing very badly compared to last year, the team is really disbanded. There is no hope for this season, they won't get many wins in the next matches either. Good trades must be made in the team, if they remain as they are, they will perform much worse next season.

What can we expect if they are only relying to Randle and Barett score while they don't any defense to stop the attack of there opponent. Even there bench is useless to cover the resting F5 players which is the main reason on there lose most of the time. They are always starting strong during first quarter then they are starting to fell of once there F5 player started to feel the fatigue. You will notice on 3rd quarter that they are totally outscored by 19points because they are letting the enemy team attack on there weak defense while they are having hard time to answer back in points.

The problem with westbrook is not that he is not aware about the superstar situation. It is about the missing shots. Dude is playing with 43% FG right now, and 28% 3P% as well and 67% FT% as well. So,  his shooting splits are 43-28-67 and that is as bad as it gets, I do not remember any other player that was named "superstar" by people and had that kind of shooting.

Shaq had a 52% FT% and only 4.5% 3P% in his entire career, but, as you might know, everyone called him a superstar. I'm just kidding. I know it's not correct to compare Westbrook and Shaq's stats. Seriously though, I agree with you that Westbrook's performance is terrible this season, and the problem is he's not even trying to improve his game.

But seriously though, WB is not an allstar caliber anymore, based on the NBA standards today where a lot of young talented players stepped up. WB numbers shows mediocrity of today's NBA, and yes he WAS a superstar, but not anymore.
However, he could reclaim that title, but not with the Lakers as seems not a good fit for them.

That is the right term, "not a good fit", yes he is a superstar and can still play in my opinion. But with a line up such as the Lakers, he will not thrive on this kind of team.

In OKC, when Durant left, he lead the team and then had one of the best season of him, based on statistics. And he move to Houston, so 1-2 between him and Harden, the small line up didn't work. He goes to Wizard, had a good year despite injuries, brings the Wizard to the playoff. But with the Lakers it's totally different Westbrook.

And if I remember correctly, Julius signed a good amount of money to the Knicks because of his strength last season. Now he is getting booed even at Madison Garden, meaning fans are disenfranchised with the team so it's time to do some changes again.

It seemed like a good match because Westbrook would be able to tire out defenses and give LeBron a break but it hasn’t worked out at all. Instead of the best of both worlds they’re getting the worst. Tonight was a good example. They’re taking turns getting easy rebounds and throwing up shots to get numbers. They aren’t anywhere near the efficiency level they need to be to win games. Carmelo Anthony has been the only consistent shooter all season. I’m not even sure if they’re going to get a shot at a play in game at this point.

I'm glad you threw in the joke part lol.  Russ is who he is.  His style of play works when you are younger and more athletic than everyone but now that he is getting older his flaws particularly in his shooting is getting exposed.  He can't out athlete people anymore.

I also read in other article that Houston Rockets are planning to acquire WB, but they don't intend to let WB play instead they will rest him.
I really don't blame WB alone about these issues because he is not the one who's trying to build a superteam in the first place, the Lakers big 3 experiment have surely failed. WB must also understand that he's not getting any younger anymore especially this season that there's a lot of young players stepping up their game.

Dallas Mavericks had an insanely good performance against Golden State Warriors last night and they won the game too by 122-113. Especially Luka Doncic was incredibly good. He had one of his best performances this season certainly. He got 41 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. And his role in this win was really huge honestly. Curry and Thompson both played in this game but their performances were not impressive at all. Mavericks deserved to win this game undoubtedly. And Mavericks draw the attention of many people by their effort this season.

Bam and Tyler Herro, two old but reliable Heat players, they have been with the team before and they know how to win games. I was just delighted with the Boston Celtics - Memphis Grizzlies game. Celtics managed to win by a decent gap, 120-107. But the most impressive thing of this game for me was that I watched an incredible duel between Jayson Tatum and Ja Morant for scoring the most points of the game. And Morant was the winner at the end of this duel as he scored one more point than Tatum (Morant - 38 points). But Celtics had a much bigger team play than Grizzlies which helped them still win this game comfortably. But both of these teams are superb this season.

Kobe and Lebron are the same, they make their teammates look bad and Westbrook was probably the victim on that. I know that he wasn't playing well with the Rockets uniform that's why he was traded again, but Lakers team is probably  Westbrook's worst team in his NBA career, ,he should not stay here.

D Eose has been out for most of this downfall and that's part of the reason, they have zero point guard ability without him on the court.  Half court offense is sloppy and rudderless.  Julius sign a team friendly contract so at least there is that.  Next year they are screwd unless they offload some draft picks to get rid of some contracts.  Otherwise the year after they have $40mil in expiring contracts and $60mil the year after.  More time...uhhg.

The Nets are playing again today. Still no Ben Simmons in the lineup but Kevin Durant is returning from injury so that’s one piece falling into place. Hopefully Ben Simmons hits the floor soon as well. I can’t wait to see how he fits in with KD and Kyrie.

Ben Simmons is dealing with back soreness according to some news articles.

The return of KD is definitely a good news but facing the Heat isn't right after injury isn't. I'm not sure how many playing time the coach would give him but I hope they take it easy for now.

Yes, Simmons is not expected to play for at least 2 weeks due to back soreness. He was first scheduled to make his debut in Nets uniform this March 10 against his former team, 76ers.

I really thought that the Nets will bounce back today because KD is back and after losing 2 games in a row, KD made 31 points but he couldn't just handle the Heats movement by himself and he needs Irving on this one.

Even the New York native Stephen A. Smith really disgusts the team already after praising them especially in last season where they entered the playoffs and even though they lost in the first round, he is still optimistic with the team all throughout until he made his epic rant online (I repeated that part many times and laughing at the same time).

The Knicks and the Lakers are fighting for the most disappointing team this season. The Knicks got as high as 16 point lead against the Sixers and they blew that out again and lost. Now the Lakers lost 7 straight games against the Clippers as they lost again by 21 points.

Don't worry, time will come that he will be traded, there's no reason for the Lakers to keep him when they are not winning, the management will surely make a decision to get rid of some of the superstars probably Lebron is one of them or maybe Davis will be traded too. This season is not over yet, they still have a chance but like what most of us see, I also see that their chance is very slim.

They want to trade Westbrook already during the last trade deadline last month but because of his high salary and his next year's salary, no team was willing to trade with them and they didn't made any moves at that moment. Well, they don't know that this will end up like this. They are hoping for Westbrook to help the Lakers get a ring alongside Lebron and AD but sh*t happened. The highest position that they can get maybe is in the play-in tournament and I don't think that they can ever get the 8th seed especially now that the Clippers are 5.5 games above them.

I wish it's a good chemistry. My expectations are not that high but a spark between those three is fine. Like how Harden go well with Embiid.

Another big game on TNT tonight is the Lakers vs Clippers. I think when the Clippers signed Kawhi and PG13 we all thought these LA matchups would be a bigger deal. With the Clippers crippled by injuries and the Lakers playing terrible basketball, this matchup is turning into a snooze fest.

Same old. Crappy Lakers. They can't win against the Clippers with that kind of game, it's just Reaves that's been helpful. Well Lakers won in the number of turnovers. If this will keep on happening then it won't be shocking to see them at the 11th seed and won't even join the play in tournament.
