Warriors won!
Steph and Klay were hot in the 1st half making a 25-point lead. But the Suns never gave up and pursued a close battle, they did and even got close to a 3-point lead. But the early foul trouble and bonus for the Warriors at 6 minutes left in the 4th are what made the difference, then there's Jordan Poole who suddenly got hot.
Did they shake hands after the game? I didn't see it. Seems like even Damion Lee is creating some trouble against Jamychal Green in garbage time.

Great to hear that the Warriors are back! They seem to be on a roll lately, with two consecutive wins against tough opponents in the NBA, the Bucks and the Suns. It's always fun to watch Thompson shoot his normal, and he seems to be more comfortable now in the 3 point line. He has been consistent lately with his shooting, which is great news for the Warriors.
Warriors won "ON THEIR HOME" where they have one of the best home records right now.

TBH, I'm more nervous than exciting on how the Warriors are playing this season. Yes the Warriors are winning on their home, and like you said, they beat Bucks and Suns who are at the top teams currently, but that's on their home. What if that happened on the road? Will it be the same.

That is the thing, it's not that new that we are witnessing the Warriors winning on their home but don't take it wrong, it still makes me excited whenever they are at home because the team is overshooting their stats as they are just so hard to beat at Chase Center or even in the Oracle Arena where the first homecourt of the present core players.

But the fact is, I'm still not that convinced since Steph Curry returned because the Bucks and Suns that they defeated just recently are the teams who lacks their core players, Giannis and Durant respectively. Before that, when they are still on the road, they cannot even defeat the Grizzlies who doesn't have Adams, Clarke and Ja Morant which makes them so bad on the road. Now that they are back on their road games, which is 5 games in total, let's see if they can defeat those teams because the way I way I see it, the easiest one is the Houston Rockets.

Big stretch for golden state to end the season coming up.  They do need to figure out how they are gonna win on the road.  But come playoff time I don't have any doubt they will be right in the mix of everything. Playoff basketball is so different than regular season basketball.  Big players step up and if Curry is on nobody is gonna stop him.

It's gonna be hard for the depending champs, specially they don't have Wiggins in the lineup and how their championship team has been broken this year. So we will see how they are going to fair in this 5 road games. I think 3 of that games could be winnable for them.

Yes, that one too. The Warriors may have some struggles along the way as the regular season is closing and the same thing in the upcoming playoffs as even the Warriors management are not that sure if Wiggins can return this season. By the way, he is not injured or something like that, he's been away for more than a month now due for some personal reasons, it wasn't specified why but the Wiggins family and the Warriors are keeping it under wraps.

That's why if the Warriors will play like this until the playoffs, at least they might chase the 4th seed so that they can have at least 1 game home court advantage.

On the other hand, I'm also thinking, they are playing like this without their 2 best defenders playing in Wiggins and GPII. We know how good them in what they can do in the court. Wiggins is a good defender, and we've seen it in the last NBA Finals where he guarded Tatum, and he's a reliable offensive player as well. GPII on the other hand isn't as efficient as Wiggins, but he can shoot threes as well, and an elite defender as well.

Aside from the 2 of them, let's not credit Kuminga who stepped up on his performance on his 2nd year as a pro. Dude played really well when Curry was out, and it's just unfortunate that he also experience the same thing KD did during the warm-ups. Overall, the Warriors is still a good team looking at their roster. Like you, I'm also excited watching them playing on their home, but I just hope they will make some adjustments when they are playing on the road.

Yeah no one wants to play in the play in games so it makes sense for anyone in the 5/6 hole to want to keep that position.  For the casual fans I just wanted to point out that what happens in the regular season doesn't always translate to the playoffs.  If the Warriors play theor first 2 playoff games on the road against the higher seed kings team my guess would be that golden state would be favored in both games or at worst be an even bet.  Not based on road record but playoff experience.  It's a real thing they will be fine with all that experience on that team.  The issue they would have is if they line up against Memphis in the first round.  They are a tough matchup.

Yes, it probably doesn't matter which position the Golden State Warriors finishes at and even if the only way they get to make the playoffs is via securing the final spot in the play-in tournament, they'll still a force to be reckoned with for any team to that'd be opposing them, and they should still be considered one of the top favorites to win the championship, but the only problem that the warriors might be faced with during this post season is about how deep and healthy their squad would be, as we'll all likely agree that they are not the same team they were last season, and have lost some core part of their second unit and squad depth, so one of the major questions is would Andrew Wiggins and Gary Payton II be available at full speed for the playoffs ? There is also no James Wiseman too, Donte DiVincenzo have been an absolutely incredible addition to their squad, no doubt! but they'll need more than just 6-7 healthy players to go far in the playoffs, more or less stand a chance to defend their championship.

When Anthon Davis is doing well, they can easily win the game and with the help of his teammates, it would be possible for them to maintain or get to the upper spot until the NBA playoffs. Every team that has the chance to get to the number 6 spot will really play hard to win their remaining games and so as the Lakers when LBJ will return. I think is a good idea to make him rest for a while since they were really getting more wins anyway and that's really pretty good but I think they want him to sync with the team so that they won't have any problem playing in the NBA playoffs.

Charlotte Hornets - Cleveland Cavaliers - WIN

Charlotte Hornets comes into this game having achieved 22 wins and 48 losses, and in the last 10 games they have had 5 wins and 5 losses, it is not a good performance, they have 2 consecutive losses, in their last game they lost against the Cavaliers which will be your opponent again. on the other hand, we only have the Cleveland Cavaliers who come into this game with 43 wins and 27 losses, and in the last 10 games they had 5 wins and 5 losses, but coming from a victory against the Hornets. my guess is that Cleveland will win this game

Washington Wizards - Detroit Pistons - WIN

Wizards comes to this game with 31 wins and 37 losses, and in the last 10 games they managed to get only 3 wins, they had 7 losses and 3 consecutive losses, lost 2 times against the Hawks and 1 time against the Philadelphia 76ers. meanwhile their opponent the Detroit Pistons comes to this game with 16 wins and 53 losses, in their last game they managed to win, but it is worth remembering that before this victory they had losing streaks. in my opinion the Wizards will win this game

Toronto Raptors - Denver Nuggets - No Specific Bet

Raptors come to this game with 32 wins and 36 losses, and in the last 10 games they managed to get 5 wins and 5 losses, and to make matters worse for them, they have 3 consecutive losses, lost against the Denver Nuggets, Clippers and Lakers. is missing Otto Porter Jr. on the other hand, their opponent the Denver Nuggets comes to this game with 46 wins and 22 losses, they have 3 consecutive losses, lost against the Bulls, then lost against the San Antonio Spurs and against the Brooklyn Nets.

New Orleans Pelicans - Los Angeles Lakers - LOST

Pelicans comes to this game with 33 wins and 35 losses and in the last 10 games they managed to get 3 wins and 7 losses, in their last game they beat the Portland Trail Blazers. they are missing Zion Williamson and Jose Alvarado. on the other side we have the Lakers who also have 33 wins and 35 losses, and in the last 10 games they had 7 losses and 3 wins, and in the last game they lost against the New York Knicks. in my opinion new orleans will win this game

Oklahoma City Thunder - Brooklyn Nets - LOST

Oklahoma City Thunder comes to this game with 33 wins and 35 losses and in the last 10 games they won 5 games and lost 5 goals, but have 2 consecutive wins. meanwhile their opponent Brooklyn Nets comes to this game with 39 wins and 29 losses, and in the last 10 games they had 5 wins and 5 losses. has a streak of 2 consecutive wins. in my opinion the nets will win this game

San Antonio Spurs - Orlando Magic - LOST

San Antonio Spurs comes into this game with 17 wins and 50 losses, and in the last 10 games they only won 3 games and lost in the last game. on the other side we have the Orlando Magic that has 28 wins and 40 losses, and in the last 10 games they managed to have 4 wins and 6 losses. But they won in the last game. my guess is that the Orlando Magic will win this game

Based on the results of your bet you got 2 wins and 3 losses and an unknown bet I don't really know what you bet with the Raptors VS the Nuggets game, what did you pick for that game, indeed, and regarding your losses? well even though I don't bet for this game I fell fast asleep and forgot about betting last night,

New Orleans Pelicans VS Los Angeles Lakers - Regarding this game, Zion Williamson still can not play for the Pelicans so it is unlikely for them to win against a new version of the Lakers, and with the Lakers because of the Slump that Anthony Davis has shown in the recent game, he has to improve in this game against the Pelicans, with the addition of D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, Austin Reaves, and Rui Hachimura they got a great spread winning the game,

Oklahoma City Thunder - Brooklyn Nets - For this game, I still don't trust Cam Thomas could score 40 points again, and with this game, the Nets don't really stand a chance, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a monster,

San Antonio Spurs - Orlando Magic - And with this game indeed the Spurs are not that great of a team but the magic isn't really aswell, and Paolo Banchero even though he is the number 1 pick, I guess he is just averaging like this so the Magic would trade him for another team, well just my theory, but he is not improving well enough so there is no worth in making a bet for them,

I can't imagine how strong the Lakers are when AD won't be injury prone anymore and playing at this kind of level he's showing tonight. When AD becomes unstoppable, it would be much easier for his teammates to score anywhere on the floor. The trade was really a successful one as they have acquired someone who could legitimately drop 5+ 3s per game.
Can't really wait when LeBron comes back to the game, let's see how effective he is as a leader of this new Laker team.

With the kind of hard work AD is showing now, if he's not an injury prone star, we can say that Lakers will continue to be a good competitor for the world title.

I can say that with the good chemistries between him and whoever with him on the floor, it's a good advantage
using him as the main offensive guy, he can attract the defense and pass the ball to the open man to take the shot.

I don’t know about Anthony Davis and his ability to be consistent. It seems like just yesterday I was reading an article about how he wasn’t going to be able to fill his role. Today now everyone’s talking about how amazing he is. I think he’s a great player, but it’ll be a bit of luck if he can make it all the way to the NBA finals and stay healthy. Great performance either way. 35 & 17

We already know what Davis is capable of. It's just that in his last games, his performance is kind of lacking down especially on offense and we can see it during their last loss against the Knicks where he only scored 17 or 18 points I think.

Overall, the Lakers are a good team to watch out now because after the trade deadline, they are coming from a team who can't get a play-in spot to now a team who might at least enter the playoffs. They have players who are good on offense, but at the same time, they also have players who are also good on defense. Davis on this game lead his team with a double-double 35 points and 17 rebounds. Beasley and Russell combined for 41 points.

I'm a bit surprised TBH that the Lakers ended up winning by only 15 points. I mean we've seen the lead of the Lakers go as high as 30+ points. Well, the good thing is that they didn't let the Pelicans get the momentum from the start until the end even though it's their home court. I just hope that they will win on their next game and will be on .500.

Another great win by the Lakers! Haters are going to hate, but they are showing us they are a completely different team. Winning on the road is difficult, but they managed to do it against the Pelicans and have dominated them. They are a great team, and we will no longer talk about their struggles, as they are demonstrating excellent chemistry that some of us did not expect after the trade deadline.

NBA is so strange sometimes. They can't beat the Knicks (which is is without Jalen Brunson and on the 2nd game of a back to back) at home but on the road they beat NO leading by 35 points(!!!) at half time.

This team is so inconsistent, even if they somehow reach the playoffs or play-ins they won't survive ( I hope ).
May sound like a hater, but Lakers, no thanks. Grin

Another great game for them, they are showing the fans the worth of supporting them. Haters will be there as always.
They are just waiting for something that will give them the satisfactions.

But with the current outcome of their games, they've got more wins than loss while LeBron is resting,
not sure how it would be for them once LeBron starts to play back,

hope he will be the one that will adjust for the team and not the team will adjust for him to continue their winning outcome.

It's quite unexpected, but they are already in the top 10. If they maintain that position, they'll be in the play-in tournament. However, it would be better if they rank in the top 6, so their playoff spot is already guaranteed. Even though LeBron James is still absent, the quality of their wins is impressive. Davis, oh Davis, please stay healthy so as not to ruin the momentum the Lakers have now.

In their next game, the Lakers will be up against the Rockets, who recently beat the Celtics. The Rockets' confidence is quite high now, but the Lakers are also playing with consistency, so I kind of like their chances to win on the road again. LeBron isn't needed yet, so the squad can continue to work their best to maintain their current good standing. As for Davis, I don't think the Rockets' defense will be able to limit him. This game will likely be a battle of offenses most of the time.

There's no doubt they are still the biggest threat if ever comes to the playoffs and they joined in. Heck, I will even bet for them if given they are the underdogs. And (if ever) even at the 8th spot pairing with the Denver Nuggets, they can still manage a win. It's the experience that they have and doesn't rattle anymore on pivotal plays. But those are the times when they have defensive players like GP2 and Wiggins, they will be a crucial part of their playoff run when the time comes.

Correct. James Wiseman was already traded but it's for an injured Payton. I think even at a small roster they can still manage a round 1, but they will need to clean up all their offensive play, almost near perfection. They are all good plays but it's all risky and prone to mistakes. If they can somehow polish everything and apply it perfectly then they might just overcome their road game situation. Especially, Jordan Poole. Whenever he handles the ball, there's the scary feeling he will turn it over.
Let's look at their TOV's on the last 3 games.
Poole 4/4/3
Steph 3/1/4
Draymond 5/2/1
Klay 1/2/1
Donte 1/1/2

When Anthon Davis is doing well, they can easily win the game and with the help of his teammates, it would be possible for them to maintain or get to the upper spot until the NBA playoffs. Every team that has the chance to get to the number 6 spot will really play hard to win their remaining games and so as the Lakers when LBJ will return. I think is a good idea to make him rest for a while since they were really getting more wins anyway and that's really pretty good but I think they want him to sync with the team so that they won't have any problem playing in the NBA playoffs.

The big test is when Lebron goes back to the equation and then a healthy Davis, that will be awesome to see how good the Lakers will be. They have move forward with the Russell Westbrook trade, and they are doing good right now except that Lebron is sitting.

And so with that, they could be one of the under rated them when Lebron goes back. I mean it's a resurgent, but still a long way to go. The Playoff will be a big test for them.

That will be the question if they remain as consistent as this when Lebron came back since for sure those performing players when Lebron is away will get less touch of the ball when LBJ back in the rotation. But if they can make this team work out with complete rooster like healthy Lebron and AD then this team is so scary provably this is a team to beat but to early to tell about this since they are aiming for playoff spot and hope they get that because playoff is more fun to watch when there's LbJ around.
