That's it for them, finishing strong before the long All-Star break.
Luka Doncic 37 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds. They are shorthanded without Kyrie Irving and Tim Hardaway. Also their last game and a long rest.

Though they lose this one, they're not far from getting to the NBA playoff spot and they will just need to be consistent and continue to win more games than lose.
As for Luka performance without Kyrie, it's still one of the best and though he is short and didn't win it, he still gonna be good when Kyrie comes back to play. Hope this will be the long losing streak they will have after getting Kyrie from trade because if they struggle from here, they will gonna suffer more after the end of All-star weekend because that's when real games start.

Mavs needs to win games, they are still not safe moving to the next round, west side are composed of good teams who are capable of
win games, after acquiring Kyrie they are now 2-3 win-loss.

Looking to see good plays to come once both Kyrie and Luka play together with a healthy squad.
Let's see if how they will adjust after losing 3 consecutive. Adjustments really needed to everyone.

They tried playing with Luka alone, but they still lost that game. They are currently on a 3-game winning streak, if I recall correctly. I think I'll have to support them until they start winning consistently. This is a playoff team, and it would be a shame if they miss the playoffs this season because of their decision to trade their role players for Kyrie Irving.

Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks

Amazing the Lakers pulled out a win the way they shot the ball from the arch. The Pelicans didn’t do much better though with both teams shooting under 30%. Anthony Davis from the field was the one bright spot. We also got to see Mo Bamba in action for the first time. Him and LeBron shot a combined 0 for 10 from 3 point range. Not exactly the long range addition they were hoping for.
It's too early to judge still, but I'd like to compare Bamba with Thomas Bryant.
Let's see how Bamba will have an impact in the Lakers. Bryant is successful being the 2nd option big for the Lakers, but quite unfortunate and I'm a bit surprised that they've traded him despite his good performance all throughout the season. Bamba used to be the starting center for the Magic, but slowly went out to the rotation of the team and ended up being traded. As for the whole Lakers team, good and convincing win for them against the short-handed Pelicans.

Another triple-double for Nikola Jokic 14 points 13 rebounds 10 assists. That's the 97th triple-double in his career in a victory against the Dallas Mavericks. Big help from Jeff Green dominating the paint with 24 points, it's his night, and the player of the game.
That's it for them, finishing strong before the long All-Star break.
Luka Doncic 37 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds. They are shorthanded without Kyrie Irving and Tim Hardaway. Also their last game and a long rest.
The Nuggets have the best home record now in the NBA with 27-4, and the Nuggets are still undefeated (21-0 I guess) when Jokic gets a triple double stats.
A convincing win for them as well against the short-handed Mavericks. The Nuggets are just incredible on their home, and that's without Murray at all, but it seems like it doesn't matter because they are performing very well still. Overall, a good win before the all-star break.

Finally, the Nets got their win after the big trade that happened. This is the first win for both Cam Johnson and Mikal Bridges being Nets. It surely didn't take long and they had an explosive night. Johnson with 18 points and Bridges with a freaking 45 points! A monster game and a career-high for him to snatch a win against the Miami Heat.
Brooklyn Bridges is enjoying playing with the Nets.

I don't know if there is somebody in the league now that's more efficient than him. He can be a scorer of the team, he is also an elite defender and at the same time, isn't injury prone. As for Brooklyn, I don't know what they will do with Simmons right now. It seems like they are building a new team without him already. We don't hear about him anymore. The Nets aren't giving him much minutes to play. Quite unfortunate for him that his career will end up to this. I don't know if there's any team that will get him after his contract especially in this era where offense is just at its highest. He can't shoot, he's afraid to shoot outside and even in the paint. He only knows passing and with our current NBA, no team wants that only (unless he will be put to a team where there's many shooters). Overall, the Nets must move on with him.

Hope this will be the long losing streak they will have after getting Kyrie from trade because if they struggle from here, they will gonna suffer more after the end of All-star weekend because that's when real games start.
It will be a big battle from the 3rd spot to the 6th spot to say they are safe to enter the playoffs.
Now, the Mavs are on the 7th seed which is not bad. They need to work out more wins as possible as they can because the other teams behind them are just 1 game behind or 2. They need to put some distance after the All-Star break and I wish Kyrie and Luka will start feeling the connection to be able to do that.
Thankfully, Kyrie managed to win 2 games right on his debut, while Luka was out. Imagine if that didn't happen, they may be in the 9th spot now.

Lakers should start winning their games too as they are on the brink of being eliminated especially when the teams above them are the Trail Blazers, Jazz, and the Thunder. This kind of stats of AD is what they need 28 points, 10 rebounds, and only made 1 missed shot in the three-point lane. Put every play in the paint as much as he can.

They had a big win on LeBron's comeback, which is good for a start. Hopefully, they can build momentum from there. You're right, they really need to be more consistent now. A playoff spot is very important as it guarantees being part of the competition, whereas getting into the play-in is quite hard as they'll have to play a few games only to qualify.

LeBron was reported to have played with a foot injury. Hopefully, the rumors are not true because we need a healthy LeBron and of course, AD.

He has injury already, perhaps he doesn't want to miss games because of him chasing records. But now that he has surpassed Kareem, he has taken a days off but he is back again and leading the team.

I do agree that they have to start winning games before the All star break, because they will sink in the standings and might missed the chance for a playoff spot again. And it's going to be Lebron and AD going to anchor this Lakers team and then the new supporting cast.

I thought that there are teams interested or will pursue Russell Westbrook. But if the news is true then this might be the start of Westbrook declining and no team might not be interested on him anymore.

It's a big win for the Lakers, Russell a big help for them with 21 points. That's the kind of numbers that he is expected to bring with the Lakers. A couple of good alleyoop between AD and him, and I think AD will be liking their combination as Russell loves to pass.

Russell is providing the points that Westbrook was not able to provide. His consistency is very important, as LeBron cannot carry this team alone anymore. He came back to the Lakers with a mission, and this time he will be playing in the playoffs with a great chance, because LeBron and Davis are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

With Schroder also being a big factor, especially in the clutch, they already have a good second unit that could help boost the team's chances when LeBron and AD need to rest.

And that is why getting D'Angelo is a huge boost for the Lakers, he is still very young and lefty and has a good shooting arm in the arc which could really be a big help for the Lakers as all other teams are shooting better than them in three points.

Dennis Schroder as well, whether coming from the bench or being their starting point guard, has been a good help, and that second unit could be compare when they become a champion, in my opinion.

Even though they have same win number, Philly looks way better than Cavs. If this team stay healthy they will be a big trouble in the East. Embiid and Harden have a good chemistry. Melton, Tucker and Harris are good starters and they have Maxey as sixth man. The only problem I see is their narrow rotation. They should have at least two more reliable players in the rotation. Milton and Niang are there but I don't think that's enough. In case we see an injury it might blow Philly's chances.

In tomorrow's 2023 NBA Season game New Orleans vs LA Lakers I want to place a bet on Orleans and I have confidence that I will win the bet because if you look at the previous game Orlans beat the Lakers.
Also here are many following the bet on the match and does anyone have the same faith as me by betting on Orlans?
Lebron James, AD, and CJ are all questionable for this game. The best way to bet is when there is final news about these stars or even at game time. They're just too big of a factor in this game. IF CJ won't play and either Bron or AD can play then it is most likely that the Lakers will win. And take note that the Pelicans are only 10-18 when it comes to road games. If you want to bet now, the Lakers is the safest IMO. The Lakers are playing at home too.
Anyways, I only have 1 bet for tomorrow's games. I am rooting for the Miami Heat to beat the Brooklyn Nets. Decent odds too since Miami is playing on the road.

I feel like even though the overall performance is better for the Pelicans, I think right now the safe choice is going to be the Lakers. Because I feel like the Lakers have actually improved compared to how they had been playing before. And home conditions are also going to favor the Lakers.

But at the same time the Lakers have also been pretty inconsistent right now. Therefore, I think the only reason why I am willing to choose the Lakers is because they are playing in home condition.

Regards

Duke

It seems you pointed it out correctly here mate and I hope you placed some few spare bucks in-favor of the Lakers because they have won the game earlier versus the Pelicans with an 18-point margin. Lebron and AD of course are the biggest contributor but ever since D'Angelo Russell came to the Lakers, the team got a big help because the man can really shoot the ball and this time, he too gave a 20+ points to the team as well as the players mentioned.

Their next game is with the Warriors and the Lakers will host the game, this will be fun to watch. By the way, things are getting pretty hectic for the Lakers as they need to win 16 games in their last 24 games of the regular season to qualify for the Play-in.

Lakers are now 1-5 without westbrook. I coitized them a lot for getting him, and I thought it was a good idea to trade him, but turns out it wasn't really that much of a good idea. I mean it looks like they got some "decent" players in return, but these days decent players do not matter, look at what Mavs and Suns got, so Lakers do not have that much of a good team just yet.

Lebron missed some games so that plays a role in this, but it is clear to me that they are going to miss playoffs this year, and next year they won't have a good team because AD is constantly injured and even though Lebron is a great player, he is getting to almost 40, they just can't win with this team.

I think they are not just looking for this season, the players that they acquire are for long term goals of the Lakers. So if they didn't make it to the finals, then they have a full season to get this players align.

It's over now, WB is no longer with them, they should have move on as for us fans as well. And I heard that teams like Chicago and even LA Clippers are interested with Russ.

That's what Rob Pelinka says when he was interviewed after they traded Westbrook, he didn't mentioned that he is just one part of the problem, he just says that its his job to make the them work and so he has to replace them to make the them work.

Yeah, in another interview on Paul George, he says that they need a traditional point guard and that's why the team is interested on getting the services of Westbrook. Not sure how he will be a 'traditional' point guard for them though.

Only the fans of Lakers blaming Westbrook on their losses while the fact is their organization is really need to organize since it seems they are in focus to solidify the legacy of lebron and second priority is to win. There chemistry really sucks so maybe they need focus on things and find ways to work together as a team. Now Westbrook is departed for sure they don't have reason about anything especially blaming a player when they lose.

Let's wait now maybe they can blame D'Lo or whoever just to point figner with losses that they will be committing, it's nothing that
viewers and fans can do but to wait if how things will work now with the team.

Chemistry and the willingness of each players to play together and try winning the game together,
not just to hype the legacy of someone but to bring the team back to the finals and maybe win
a tittle again.

That right there is what separates the Lakers from the rest of the teams in the league, they are getting toxic, be it in the locker room or outside and I think that was the same thing that Pat Bev was referring and talking about in some podcast recently. I hope D'Lo won't experience what WB did experience while he was wearing the same jersey and by that, I will not be surprised if the Lakers can't make it to the post-season.

It will take a while before Lakers could be considered good again, even with the trades they did, they do not have future picks and that is going to hurt them big time, and I get that rebuilding is not something that is easy for them to accept, they won one in 2010 and then again in 2020 or something, a 10 year gap.

And fans were furious about the mismanagement and terrible way team was playing in that decade, which is silly considering the fact that they hoped Kobe would be better and then let him retire and then rebuild the team around Lebron just a few years later than that, most teams do not win any championships at all, this one wins once every 10 years, and they are still unhappy about it.

Shams is saying that we could see a Kevin Love buyout anytime now. I hope he ends up on a contender…

We’ve got the Clippers vs Suns tonight on TNT. That should be a good one as the Suns appear to be mostly healthy now and hyped about Durant. Before that though the first game on TNT is between the Bucks and Bulls. The Bulls seem to be having some issues these days, so I think the Bucks will win easily tonight.

Giannis and Jrue Holiday went off for the Bucks tonight. If they’re playing like that I don’t think any team in the league can beat them. Tonight they got the better of the Celtics in overtime. The Clippers were able to beat the Warriors with Steph. Fox played great for the Kings but it wasn’t enough to beat the Suns. When KD comes back that is going to be one hell of a team.
It was a win, but it was in OT for the Bucks, and they almost lost to a Celtics team who doesn't have their star players like Tatum, Smart and Jalen Brown. The Bucks should have blown them up in the beginning, but they allow the Celtics to almost break their winning streak.
If not for Holiday's clutch 3 in the OT and then Giannis getting the steal and sinking both free throws, it might be a different outcome, just saying.
Do you mean the Clippers beat the Warriors without Steph in the lineup? Curry is still sideline.
Clippers beats the Warriors without Steph, though the game was close in the first half, but that rally in the third quarter established
the game winning for the clippers.
Warriors unable to rally back and while Clippers are just keeping the game and continue
to keep exchanging scores to secure the win with 2 digit deficits.

Of course, without Stephen Curry, it is going to be hard for the Golden State Warriors. and that's exactly what happened. I believe if Stephen Curry was on the team, this match was surely going to be won by the Warriors. We all know how important he is to his team. His average for the Warriors is also unbelievable. And I think you lot of people even expected this outcome. I am sorry to say that without Stephen curry,  the team is not much.

It can't be that bad as it's normal for any team to experience a bad night. They still have KT playing for them but even one of the Splash Bros. is having a good night. But yes, it's no doubt that the Warriors are really different if Stephen Curry was with the team against the Clippers but with shouldn't disregard the fact that it's normal for a player to be injured as it's almost impossible to for them to be playing dominantly whole season long because if that would be the case then I think the Clippers will be as dominant as the Warriors as well given that their roster is quite heavy.

It was a good win, and now the Lakers should win as many upcoming games as possible. By the way, it should be noted that the teams from 9th to 13th place in the Western Conference standings are very close in terms of wins/losses. So the Lakers still have a chance, although it won't be an easy task for them as there will surely be an intense battle for the last place in the play-in tournament by the end of the regular season.

It was a true rumor that LeBron was having an injury and as he came back to the team, Lakers became very strong and they won the game. But that not withstanding, he should treat his injury very well before the next match begins. The return of LeBron is a plus to the team because the absent of him was like the team was or could not play well. LeBron came to encourage everyone in the team to play well. In NBA a very smart players are needed and LeBron is very Smart to control the ball to net. I comment LeBron and Lakers for the win.

On one hand if he's injured he shouldn't force himself to play in regular season games but on the other hand Lakers is not in play-off spot. There is not much they can do. Luckily there is an All-Star break so he can rest more. Maybe he'll get a few minutes in the All-Star game but as I've seen from his last game he looks healthy now. At this age he's naturally more prone to injuries but I know how well he takes care of his body. He wouldn't risk it if there was a bigger problem.

Is Stephen going to play for the Warriors in the next match between the Lakers and the Warriors? I think that is most likely to be the biggest question for both of them. Because if Stephen Curry is not there, I don't think the Golden State Warriors will be able to win the game. But on the other hand, if Stephen Curry is actually playing for the Golden State Warriors, I believe there is a reasonable chance for them to win. Because in the last match of the Golden State Warriors, Stephen curry was not in the team for them. And I believe that is why they actually lost the game.

Well, I honestly believe that both of the teams are very much capable of being each other. And 76ers vs Cavaliers match has already ended.  This was close, but in the end, 76ers were able to win. Embiid was really good for Philadelphia. Harden also had a good performance in this match. But I feel like Embiid was the one who had the most impact on the success of 76ers. Now they are going to play against the grizzly in the next match. I think it is also going to be a closed one but I still expect Philadelphia to win that match.

Yeah, that's what I've thought of too. But it seems that the news all over him is telling the same thing and it's all about rejection. Looking at the recent news of his transfer to the Utah Jazz, I guess we'll see another tandem of him and JC.
He contributed well to the Lakers and that's expected from him and looking forward to see how it will end up with his development on another team.
