I thought that there are teams interested or will pursue Russell Westbrook. But if the news is true then this might be the start of Westbrook declining and no team might not be interested on him anymore.

It's a big win for the Lakers, Russell a big help for them with 21 points. That's the kind of numbers that he is expected to bring with the Lakers. A couple of good alleyoop between AD and him, and I think AD will be liking their combination as Russell loves to pass.

I think we'll never see another triple double season for Brody, besides he's ageing as well, he's still got some hoops but it's really declining. Well, he might be fit for the Jazz right now considering they only got two point guards but I think Sexton would be the starter or both of them then put Sexton on SG position.

Westbrook is still good for at least 2 years, but I think what fit him is the role he got in OKC, I mean the alpha of the team, maybe in tandem with someone but he needs to be the dominant player in my opinion.

So not sure if he will be good in Jazz with JC, Jazz seems to be more of a team basketball, sharing the load of both defense and scoring and maybe having Westbrook might chance the balance.

You aren't wrong, for essentially zero dollars you can get a vet who knows how to play, spreads the floor and can still rebound at a high level.  Would be a great piece for the Lakers.  They have a real need for him.  For the Suns or heat he would just be a luxury.  If he wants to chase another championship he takes the Suns, if he wants a bunch of playing time he goes to the lakers.

We’ve got the Clippers vs Suns tonight on TNT. That should be a good one as the Suns appear to be mostly healthy now and hyped about Durant.

But the LA Clippers have also hyped thanks to their newly acquired players. Hyland can produce and that's proven during his Nuggets career. Plumlee is one of the best rim protectors in the league and can rack up rebounds if given the minutes, free throws are better too after switching left-handed. Finally, Eric Gordon is like something was lifted on him and the Rockets won't be on his shoulder anymore.
This team suddenly became one of the most solid offensive and defensive teams in the league. They will be difficult to defeat.

Before that though the first game on TNT is between the Bucks and Bulls. The Bulls seem to be having some issues these days, so I think the Bucks will win easily tonight.

Big issues. 5 losing streak. It's like the team has a curse of players being injured prone, they are so fragile. One game they play, the next day they are gone. DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, Jones Jr., and Dragic won't play tonight so it's basically another loss for them unless a miracle happens. Then, there's the consistency issue. Zach LaVine cannot carry his team because he is on and off. This could become another easy win for the Bucks.

Just my own view, the Los Angeles Lakers are fully occupied now that I think they will not consider any additional moves until the end of the season.

Maybe possible during the off-season but from what I see on the Lakers right now, they will now be focused more on the team's current setup and will improve more on what is needed to do in order to catch up with the Western Conference standing.

The NBA is now approaching its half-season and Lakers every game is a must-win for them to prevent being in a much harder situation later on.

Vanderbilt, Hachimura, Gabriel, Bamba can be if they have a center in the court, Lebron can fill it as well. If he will join to the Lakers, he will just get benched out there. It would be better if other teams will get him, but not the Lakers. Team that is lacking on wing position. He can still be a good role player with his age.

Yes, I do agree, if ever the Lakers acquire him, he might just sit out the rest of the season as they are fully loaded with players having the same position as him.

Lakers backs are against the wall, every game is a must win if they want to go into the playoffs. They don't want to waste Lebron's season career breaking. Although if things come to worst, they still have a new season next year and could this be the experiment that they are looking at as they have a solid line up and no more Westbrook pressures on their shoulder.

I just hope that Kevin Love can land on team that will utilized him, more than the Cavs is doing before. And with that, Lakers is not a good team for him as you have said, there are a lot of players that has the power forward position. So he has to rub shoulders with those young players for some quality minutes in the floor. He shows his intention to be in Portland because that's where he grows up, so not bad team for him if ever has the chance to go to.

Chicago Bulls are super struggling. The Bucks without Middleton and Giannis should be a good match for them and I even thought my bet will lose after I saw what happened to Giannis, but they are punished by Brook Lopez who stepped up his game.
It's rare to witness Lopez make a 33-point game and yet he had done it tonight against the Bulls. There's just a lack of defensive pressure and they are leaving him even knowing he is a good shooter. 3/6 in the three-point line.

Also, give credits to their point guard, Jevon Carter who started because Middleton didn't play because of injury.
He is known for being a good defender for the team, but as I watch him play especially during the 4th quarter, this player isn't been given enough credits. He's the one that's stepping up offensively if some of their players are injured. In that game, he scored 22 points with 6 assists, and he and Lopez are the ones who carried the team with the absence of Giannis and Middleton. Hope Giannis' injury isn't affect him on the All-Star game.

Anyway, it's a night for Terance Mann who scored 26 points, same with PG13, and Kawhi only scored 16 points. On the other hand, Booker only scored 19 points while CP3 scored only 5 points with 11 assists. Okogie is their leading scorer with 24 points, and after being traded and waived, it's good to see Terrence Ross finding a new team and on his debut, he scored 16 points off the bench. I also watch the game and the problem that I see with the team is their defense. Too many open shots both on three and inside the paint. Anyway, the new additions to the Clippers, Gordon, Hyland and Plumlee played very good as well.

Phoenix was out rebounded. outcoached, and outplayed IMO. The Suns need to play more aggressively and get themselves on the free throw line. Get some players in foul trouble and work harder to get wins. Playing soft won't get them anywhere except a seat watching the playoffs.

Westbrook is not a totally bad player now. While his performance declined with the Lakers, he still had impressive stats when he played with the Rockets and Wizards. I wouldn't be surprised if he landed with the Clippers, as right now, the team needs someone aggressive enough to spread the floor, and Westbrook can certainly deliver that.

It's just a matter of chemistry that's important for the team, since Westbrook already has the talent. His shooting has improved, and his athleticism is still there.

This kind of stats of AD is what they need 28 points, 10 rebounds, and only made 1 missed shot in the three-point lane. Put every play in the paint as much as he can.

They had a big win on LeBron's comeback, which is good for a start. Hopefully, they can build momentum from there. You're right, they really need to be more consistent now. A playoff spot is very important as it guarantees being part of the competition, whereas getting into the play-in is quite hard as they'll have to play a few games only to qualify.

They have a chance, but it is not very big to be honest. The team needs to improve first, as consistency is crucial. Looking at their record, they are 4-6 in their last 10 games and are currently ranked 13th in the Western Conference. There are several areas for improvement before we can talk about their chances of winning the championship. It might be best to take it slow and aim for a playoff spot first. Once they achieve that, we can assess if they have what it takes to make it to the Western Conference Finals.

Bulls are becoming a joke again I don't have enough power left in me to cheer for them I simply had enough with Bulls and I don't think they will ever achieve at least 20% of what MJ team has achieve during all those golden years. The fans are also sleeping during their games because no one is there anymore for a real support , why ? Because the players don't support their fans either by giving all their best in order to get victories. I also hope , that after this NBA season ends , Bulls will make a massive reconstruction because LaVine simply doesn't want to play for Bulls man...
