The losing streak continues, reaching 4 games now. Once again, the offense isn't flowing effectively, and they're scoring much lower than their average before the Harden trade. They are still in the process of figuring out how to fix this issue, but with 4 losses in a row, the chances of solving the problem seem to be diminishing. The next game is against the Nuggets, and in my opinion, that's an automatic loss.
Teams take time to get a flow going. They may lose 10 and something click and they go on a streak. Denver is red hot but they took a loss tonight too, nothing is guaranteed.
Not the case all the time. I believe there's a significant problem they really need to solve. As far as I remember, when Harden was traded to the Nets and the 76ers, everything went well at the beginning. However, with the Clippers, look at what's happening now—they can't even win against a struggling team without their superstar Ja Morant.

What are your thoughts on the Warriors' struggles? It's their second consecutive loss at home, and despite the scoreboard showing only a 6-point loss, there seems to be a lot happening behind those numbers. Clearly, the Warriors are facing huge challenges, and Curry is struggling to find support from his splash brother. I don't know, I think they need to start finding some consistent player and replace Klay on the line up, seems like he wasn't the same anymore after he suffered an injury.

They are still in the process of figuring out how to fix this issue, but with 4 losses in a row, the chances of solving the problem seem to be diminishing. The next game is against the Nuggets, and in my opinion, that's an automatic loss.
I watched this video more than 5x already. I think that many of us watched this video regarding how a reporter roasted Harden on live television and spanked him with the reality that he isn't the system, but he's the problem. For those who didn't watch the video here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE3_WfFei00

On the other hand, I saw this YouTube video that was uploaded hours after they lost to Memphis. On that video is a short clip of an interview with him, and here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrGLX6ueIT0. Basically, he said on the video that they're trying to figure it out together, and there's no negative atmosphere around the locker room even though they lost 4 in a row with him already. The Sixers now are playing way better since they traded Harden, and Maxey just recorded his first 50-point game in his career. He and Embiid are the best duos currently. Clippers are against the Nuggets in their next game. Automatic loss? As much as I want to say it, I don't want to because we just saw the Nuggets lose to the Rockets. Who'd expected that to happen? Only a few, so I would lean towards the fact that anything can happen still.

What are your thoughts on the Warriors' struggles? It's their second consecutive loss at home, and despite the scoreboard showing only a 6-point loss, there seems to be a lot happening behind those numbers. Not enough help from other teammates offensively.

He's the oldest player who averages more than 20 PPG in their first 10 games. Let that sink in, and look how his teammates' scores in their past games. They are playing better in the first games, but they are now on a losing streak. I guess Coach Kerr knows what to do to his players. He'll make an adjustment soon. Replace Klay on the line-up? Who will? I mean I can't think of anybody.

They’re getting old. Klay won’t ever be the same after his injuries and Draymond can’t shoot the ball to save his life. They better get Giannis next season or the rest of Steph’s playing days will be wasted.

What I didn’t expect is that the Rockets are playing the best ball in the league right now.

Old indeed. You can see on defense, half the team is a liability.
And Klay, well he can still be streaky at times but often enough he takes bad shots which results in missing streaks as well.

About Giannis, well he signed a new contract some weeks back ( maybe you missed that ), this shows his commitment to Milwaukee. So I doubt he will be on the market if nothing crazy happens during this season. He doesn't look like the type of guy who requests a trade shortly after signing. He must have given it a good thought.

Too early to say though, I mean it's just the start of the season and they have a good record in the beginning. It's that they are in a losing streak as they can't seems to close their opponents. I don't think that Klay is the problem, he can still give like 15-20 points in a good night and he is still has that outside side.

They are just struggling as a team, or it is just their age is really showing. But we will see, maybe a good gauge if they are really not the same Warriors is before the All Star break. Maybe if the coaching staff makes some adjustment in the next game or so, they might go and have a winning streak. Nuggets also lost to the Houston Rockets, but we can't say for certain if the Nuggets are going to struggle as they don't have Murray that game.

Unfortunately the era of the Splash Brothers seems to be fading. The team is already fatigued if you know what I mean. They require a strong big man and speed. The Warriors are in desperate need of a good center. Looney alone isn't sufficient against bigger, younger players. Surprisingly, Moody and Kuminga seem to outperform Wiggins and Klay as much as it pains to admit.

They are relying to much on Steph scoring that's why other lose their confidence to shoot if they can able to distribute the ball to their shooters maybe this is different result to them since they already have Paul which can support them thru passing and Looney also Drey for defensive end. Maybe they are struggling at early of this season because they are finding good combination knowing that many of them are new in the roster. So hopefully they can settle all things on their roster since current GSW line up have huge potential to compete on finals if they can settle up their shooters and defenders. Klay and Wiggins  need to step up since they need outside threat because if they can't shoot and struggle for sure they provably lose since they would provably take advantage on more bigger opponent since they know that they can out rebound or out score Warriors inside the paint since they are always using a small ball line up.

Nuggets just lost to Rockets, I thought that was an automatic win for Nuggets but it didn't happen even though Jokic played superbly. Another crazy triple double. The problems with Clippers seem like can't be solved in the short term, unless there will be a miracle IMO. Harden is too old, too slow and even fat. Although we, here in this topic, or rather everyone everywhere else talk about him a lot, I don't think he worth to be talked about this much. He way past his prime and with all the drama, I don't think he will ever perform freely and as he used to be. I will bet on Nuggets too though.

I thought so too.
But if you look at the teams that Houston Rockets have defeated they are all high-caliber teams. Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings, LA Lakers, and now even the Denver Nuggets.
I will stop underestimating this team from now on. I had been losing a lot of my bets because I was always going against them. Not anymore.

Also, do check the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After they won against the Golden State Warriors, they also defeated strong teams. Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat. I think I got so inclined with the teams that participated in the semis last year that I forgot to check other teams like the Timberwolves.
This is the first time I watched them play and all I can say is that teams who think they are strong at their points in the paint stats will have a big problem with them. Those two big men that are protecting the rim are damn scary, even Steph is hesitating to shoot inside which made lots of turnovers forcing him to pass the ball instead of shoot.
If I am not mistaken, they are the number 1 defensive team in the league right now.

They had big men in the past with good size, such as Andrew Bogut and JaVale McGee. I don't even understand why they let go of JaVale when he was part of the team during their championship win. It seems they are sticking with their small-ball system, and we know there's a disadvantage in that—specifically, the lack of defense in the paint and rebounding. Their best way to overcome this disadvantage is to shoot well from the outside, which unfortunately didn't happen, at least for Curry's teammates, especially Thompson.

They better get Giannis next season or the rest of Steph’s playing days will be wasted.
I agree, they have to secure Giannis once he's done with the Bucks. He has already expressed his thoughts about going with the Golden State Warriors. Well, I guess that we might see this in the upcoming seasons but not this time.

What I didn’t expect is that the Rockets are playing the best ball in the league right now.
They have won against the Nuggets and it's like what every team is hoping for to beat on this season.

Nuggets just lost to Rockets, I thought that was an automatic win for Nuggets but it didn't happen even though Jokic played superbly. Another crazy triple double.
Yeah, they're like the mortal enemy of most of the teams now. Although Nuggets is still on the best standing right now but this win by Rockets against Nuggets seems to an achievement already.

Well, one solution is being said by the majority is when Harden just get out of the team and find another team that he can pester. Honestly, his last season with Phila was good and he has helped Embiid got the MVP for the east conf.

The league is upgrading and the advantage before are no longer effective for them anymore, even they can still shoot and have that
as an edge, on the otherside, there's defense that they need to address.

If they failed to make a good basket in each position they have, the opposing team can do the counter and force them to commit a foul, that's the problem with the small squad, it's hard to rotate for a good defense.

Though they live like that before and manage to win a title, not sure though if that same fate will allow them or they needed to bring a solid
center who can fill that empty spot.

Obviously, is the Denver Nuggets area because of Jokic and Murray if they can get to the NBA finals this season and win the championship there will be no doubt about that. The Splash brothers are still fine because they won the championships not too long ago these last 10 years. But as we all know when you get older you begin to feel the change and we are seeing it from them right now that's why Michael Jordan retired early, he chose to carve the minds of the fans during his prime without giving them any idea of how would he be play when he is no longer making those good plays.

They are still in good shape, especially with their main player performing at an MVP level—Curry's averages this season are on par with MVP caliber. The issue seems to be his teammates underperforming. If they face another setback this season, there's a possibility they'll opt for a team rebuild. Klay Thompson is set to become an unrestricted free agent next year, and not re-signing him or negotiating a lower contract could save them a significant amount of money. This could pave the way for new players, particularly addressing their weakness in the bigs department, adding depth to the Warriors.

that's why Michael Jordan retired early, he chose to carve the minds of the fans during his prime without giving them any idea of how would he be play when he is no longer making those good plays.

He retired at age 34 but come back at age 38 playing for 2 seasons with the Washington Wizards, so technically he retires old but people still consider him as the GOAT.

Atlanta today was the joke of the weekend.
Miami is playing without Butler and Herro and Atlanta is getting schooled in the first quarter and plays catch up the rest of the match, what a great way to blow it.

How come we see this so often, the best player of a team is out, they play on the road as well and suddenly they pull off 1 big quarter which pretty much seals it. They lose the rest of the quarters and still win easy because of the stupidity of the other team.  Roll Eyes

NBA at it's best.

For sure the Atlanta Hawks were down in this game I really don't know what happened but Trae Young and Dejounte Murray did well in this game but still they ended up losing the game as the Miami Heat spread the points and yes there are no Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro Present in this game, Josh Richardson, Kyle Lowry, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Bam Adebayo,

I wouldn't say it's the age. They had a good roster but exchanged too many for one who is not a system player so that's why. I was actually enjoying the chemistry of the trio and the rest of the roster prior to the arrival of Harden.

What's funny here is their coach saying that Harden needs to be himself moving forward instead of trying to fit in. He can't really do that unless he becomes the focal point so I guess someone will be relegated again and I think that's going to be WB.

They have too many Role players on the team for sure the system player was focal for the Los Angeles Clippers and seeing that the key Rosters aren't really getting their chemistry up for sure is why the Clippers for the time being are still catching up to what they can do right now for the team, and that is why they are making mistakes and getting some issues on who's going to be main or not, I don't know if Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Normal Powell could help each other for the team,

at least yesterday the lakers won the game against the blazers, this month it was not good for the lakers as they had 3 consecutive defeats and then in the game before that they managed to break the cycle of defeats by winning, and yesterday they won again and with that They already have two consecutive victories, but we will see in the next game if they will also manage to win and have 3 consecutive victories, with their inconsistency I see that they will hardly have a good campaign, I hope I'm wrong about that.

in this game against the blazers in the first period the lakers won by a small difference of points, there was only a 2 point difference, in the second period the lakers lost by a difference of 4 points and in the third period the lakers recovered and won by a big difference in points, there was a 12 point difference, one would think that in the fourth period they would also win again, but they lost by a difference of 5 points. In my opinion, the Blazers could have come out of this game with a better result if they hadn't made mistakes in the third period

In other words, even though the Lakers won in this game, they still don't convince me and I'm unlikely to bet on them, because they are inconsistent, in this game they won because they did well in the third period, but they could have lost, I see that in the next game the their chances of losing are greater, I hope I'm wrong

Anyone else believed Harden is the problem? Me, I'm starting to believe he is. What Brian Dameris said was all true no cap heard on his statement regarding James Harden drama.
He's been moving from 1 team to another, teaming up with 2-4 superstars on the same team, but not even the finals he stepped into, except when they were  young in OKC.
Well, he's already there, I guess the Clippers will need to make a huge adjustments to utilise Harden effectively. I thought he'd be a great guy leading the 2nd unit.

It was always obvious that Harden was the issue, since Rockets period as well. I mean in normal cases, like for example with Dame and all, I understand players being upset and wanting out, because he played over a decade there and they did not build a good team around him, and that looks like there was no desire by the team to win anything, they are happy to just spend as little as possible and make the team worth go up thanks to inflation, NBA getting more popular means their team worths more and they are happy owners. However, Rockets was never like that, all those calls about them getting Howard, getting CP3, getting Westbrook, and him still wanting out and not getting anything with that team was obvious. That famous 27 shots missed in a row was the demise of Harden, ever since that day, he never went back to being a star player, he just became a cry baby that wanted things all the time without actually giving anything back for getting what he wants. A player may want to get traded, but if he keeps making teams pay for him, and he doesn't do anything for them, then why would any team want him again?

A player may want to get traded, but if he keeps making teams pay for him, and he doesn't do anything for them, then why would any team want him again?

And this could be the last straw on James Harden, if the Clippers didn't go to the playoffs, or at least relegated to 6th spot in the West and then have to go to a play-in just to make the playoffs, then we know who should be the problem with the Clippers. They are just started to have a season with their big 3 of Kawhi, Paul George and then Westbrook. Unfortunately, the management decided to get James in return and they lost a good defensive player in Nic Batum, who can also shoot 3 in crucial minutes. Just because Harden wanted to go to Clippers that Steve Ballmer gave in to the request and think that Harden is a good addition. Harden has a history already and the teams should learn from it. Now the curse is on the Clippers right now, they've lost a bunch of future picks as well so for now we can definitely say that the risk is not paying off.
