I had a really good chat with a guy when I went out last night at a pizza pub.  We were talking about the blockbuster Luca trade.  We were talking about what a freak of nature Lebron is, and how well he takes care of his body.  My guess is Luca was traded because of not staying in shape/injury concerns but what we were thinking is there is no way Lebron doesn't start getting on him and being a positive influence on how to start better preparing his body and all that.  So I think his game is really going to go to another level..but this is just "our" theory.

I also have the same thoughts, if there will be a player that can influence Luka to keep his body in shape, that could be no less than Lebron James who has been playing for 20 years and keep his body on top.

So just imagine if Luka would have the 10% of Lebron's mindset when it comes to their physical body, who knows, maybe he can also stay in the league for many years and could bring a championship all together.

There is no chance on earth the Lebron does not rub of on Luca is some way shape or form and the most likely outcome, at least in my opinion is that it will happen much sooner than later.  Lebron probably has 2-3 years left at most but that's enough time for him to work with Luca, train with him and teach him what it's all about to be a professional basketball player who wins championship games.  So I'm excited to see it play out.

We gonna see, we love to see a legendary player like Lebron giving everything he learn to Luka and to his son Bronny. But it's hard to see Luka chance his style or even go and hit the gym for that matter.

He has been used to this kind of phase and physically (if there is one for him), him and Jokic style are very similar but they are very difficult to guard. Slow but deliberate and nonchalant. So not sure what kind of influence Lebron could give to Luka.

It's only natural that Lebron would be a huge influence on Luka, with how highly regarded Luka already is, even if he's not narcissistic there are not so many players in the NBA he'd not feel more important than, and Lebron is definitely one of them, even any knucklehead seeing how much passion and hunger Lebron does put into being game/season ready with the intention of playing deeply into the playoffs each season would get inspired, he's won it all, he's topping the most important all time chart of the league, and he still comes in every night playing like he's still fighting for a roster spot. If Lebron is able to play for some 2 seasons more without being traded away from the Lakers, that might be the biggest hack to Luka's performance...

I don't think it will happen knowing both of these great players knows what to do and how to adjust on situation. For sure Luka will try to blend on how LBJ play, but also for sure Luka will be their main scorer since they know how capable he is to drop big numbers for their team. To many hype coming around and people really want to see Luka playing for the first time as Lakers.

The best term we can used might be "disappointed" or "displease" but not to the point that he's angry with the Dallas management.

Still, not a valid factor to consider if he goes monster on his first game as a Laker and on their following games. It's just how Luka really is.

Luka is bound to have a $345M super max contact extension if not traded. That's huge. Mavericks have no choice but to play wisely with their salary cap. Different story though if Dallas Mavericks able to won the championship last season.

How big of a deal is Luka Doncic being traded? I just bought the ESPN sports package so I could watch the game tonight. It had better not disappoint. I want to see Luka and LeBron trading half court shots and both of them getting triple doubles. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the center position and how many turnovers they end up with.

Lakers have nice welcome for Luka's first game on their homecourt. It's nice to see that LA is showing some love to their new added star.

This game became more interesting and same with other people I would love to see Luka and Bron exchanging ball and play together as a team.

I was just casually browsing to watch some videos and this has got my feed suggested. So, some content creator had seen it coming from an 'insider' 5-6 months ago. I haven't finished the video yet and I am currently watching, I thought I should share it here quickly and that's why I posted it before finishing it so, I won't place the link. Yeah, it's scary how easy for the Lakers to win in this game, and Luka just started as a Laker and it looks like he is going to be be fine with them. This is the start so for sure in the future he will be given more minutes.

Lebron left but I do not think that the injury is worse. As for Jazz, they might be thinking of rebuilding, although last season it seems that they will make move but there's not much trade they did for this year.

I also don’t understand how this is possible but apparently there is some path for them to acquire Miles Turner? That would be a massive move…

We don't know for sure, but if that happens, it'll definitely work in the Lakers' favor. In their game against the Jazz, they even outrebounded them, which shows the Lakers are strong on the boards, even with their current lineup. By the way, Luka made his debut and went 5-for-14. It wasn't stellar, but that's understandable since the Lakers dominated from the start. Next time, let's see how effective Luka can be when the Lakers face a true playoff team.

It's just a start but we can look at how most of the fans were excited to watch Luka's debut. The game still ended in favor of Lakers though and we can say that the fans are with him and this trade found them more fans brought to them because of Luka.

No doubt it is interesting take by Rob. We'll have to wait for that since it is what they've addressing that they lack of and the rescinded trade that has happened.

There's no way for them to acquired Miles turner now as the trade deadline is already ends. But if Pacers would buy out his contract maybe Lakers would get a chance to get him.

But they can still get a player and potential candidates that can possibly bring good impact for their teams are Theis,McGee and Howard. But I guess Theis and Howard is good players to get since this both players is good contributor also provably they can still use their talents to help their team to address their lacking of reliable centers.

So let see what Pelinka could do if he he can sign good center for Lakers.

Luka has a minute restriction that's why he's not playing really well, and the Jazz are a bottom-tier team as well hence, the huge lead in the halftime and eventually winning the game.

For me, it's already a good sign knowing that he just came back from an injury, and you can see the smile on his face. Luka's happy with his new team, and AD is happy with his new team. I guess that's what matters now. What's good with the Lakers is that they gave Hayes more playing time to fulfill that center role, which is a fit for him, and at the same time, he can also catch lobs from both Lebron and Luka since he's also an athletic big. Now that they didn't got Mark Williams, what the Lakers need to do is to utilize their current bigs on their roster.

I wonder if they will give the newly acquired big Christian Koloko some playing time.

Though they played against the Jazz but for sure the fans who really loves seeing LeBron and Luka playing together enjoyed their performances though Luka played decent minutes for his debut good enough for him to show appreaciations coming from the Lakers fans who loves eeing him around, there are many games to play and for sure fans are more interested from the connection and a kind of chemistries both superstars will developed along the way.
