Looks like this is turning into a reality check for the Lakers. The first half was interesting, but this third-quarter run by the Celtics might just seal the game. The Lakers are already down by 19, and so far, I haven’t seen them pull off a comeback from this kind of deficit.

There’s still plenty of time, but knowing the Celtics, they’re dominant, and they’re proving it again right now.

Bad game for the Lakers, although they rally, it's not enough as there was a scare on Lebron, as he left with 6 minutes left in the 4th. And maybe if he was in the game, it will be a different outcome.

It was a groin injury as reported, although he said that it's not a matter of emergency, but we still don't know the extend of his injury. Just like what happen to AD when he played with the Mavs, it was said that it was just a groin injury but he is out for weeks now. Hoping though that Lebron will be back during the playoff.

This is exactly what I don’t want to see, especially with the playoffs approaching. Now, the healthier team has the best chance to win, and so far, that’s OKC in the West. But the Wolves could also be a threat if Gobert returns.

It’s tough reading the news, but at least their current ranking is solid. As long as they make the playoffs and LeBron is ready, they’ll still have a good shot, even without home-court advantage.

Yes, we want a healthy Lebron going into the playoffs so that it will be a great series for them. Again, I was hoping that everything is going to be ok with Lebron and not like the AD injury.

For the game, it could have been a different result if Lebron is there. Both them are clutch, we've seen Boston blowing a huge lead against the Cavs and choke. So it's not that they are also that good, it's that the Lakers is very unfortunate that Lebron went down. The Lakers is rallying that time that's why I said that the game might be still 50/50 down the road.

The clutch last drive of Kawhi Leonard that seal the game makes me goosebump because I bet on them Money line while they are down by 1 while they have the final possession on the game to win or lose.

I thought his shot will not gonna make it because it’s a bit off the ring but it shakes then went in. So intense match and worth it to watch with money on the line.

Feels like 2019 all over again… though Leonard still doesn’t look like his usual self, you can see he’s really trying. That was a hard-earned win for them, especially on their home court.

But man, what stood out to me was DeMar... he’s so underrated. Clutch, reliable, and can score from anywhere on the floor.

I think they have been in the 2nd spot already even prior to the lost of Nuggets to the Thunder. SGA really shows us who the real MVP is. Jokic missed his triple double and then OKC won huge against them. This is a statement game for them and we all know that SGA did take a rest prior to this game.

Nico walk out after their game ugly lost against the Phoenix Suns. And he is still very trolled by the fans. Someone even wearing a Luka Doncic Lakers uniform in their arena. Lol. Booker and KD had 20+ points on that game and Bradley Beal with 19.

I guess the Denver Nuggets would be heading back to the 2nd position but this time around it would be with game advantage firstly because the Lakers just lost to Brooklyn Nets, and the Denver Nuggets on the other hand are exerting revenge on the OKC Thunder.

Regardless of how the season ends for Lakers, they already have a glimpse of what their future would look like with Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks meanwhile really don't know where they stand, If Kyrie Irving doesn't get back in time for next season, do they go all out again for star guard, or just whether the storm with the likes of Hardy and Exum ??

Even if the Mavs make the play-in tournament, they are unlikely to meet the Lakers in the playoffs. I mean, if they continue performing at their current pace in the remaining regular-season games and maintain their position in the standings, they still won’t have a real chance in the playoffs, as they would face the Thunder in the first round.
As for the Lakers, there is a chance that they could face the Nuggets in the playoffs again. The problem is that the Nuggets are obviously not a very comfortable opponent for them, but I hope the LeBron-Luka duo will surprise us.

An even bigger concern was that LeBron James suffered an unfortunate groin injury that has now sidelined him for at least one to two weeks. Obviously, this increases pressure on Luka Doncic to carry the team until LBJ returns. But the Slovenian Sensation seems to be prioritizing LeBron’s health over everything.

1-2 weeks is really long for them as the standing in the west is really close to each other. They will be not in good situation on this.



Still, someone from the 6spots can go down to play-in.
The chemistry between LUKA and the lakers is really doing great with the pass from him and LBJ. i hope when the king return to the court, they will have better chem than what they have now.

Yes, and when we thought that this might look a simply injury, I think Lebron will have to sit for weeks and so Luka will have to carry the Lakers moving forward. Unfortunately, even against a low team like the Nets, they failed to win as they start very slow.

Warriors still on the winning side and still in the playoff and the mentality of the team is very different. GPII lead them and with a career high against Portland. What's scary is that they still have Kuminga coming in to play.

Even if they ended up worse, which I highly doubt they would get any worse, then I would assume that would still be fine considering finishing the season 3rd or 4th place isn't really a big deal. They will not drop to fifth place, that is way too low and they are going to finish at worst case fourth place even if they just suck and be terrible.

This is why Lakers are not worried, no matter what happens without Lebron, they are going to keep on winning without much trouble. Lebron will be back quite soon too, so it will not matter their return easily. They will play less than 10 games until he returns, so that shouldn't really impact it all the way down, sure they may not get a great result, but they won't be like zero wins neither.

Lebron won't be out for that much of a long time, plus they are also seeded quite decently so that means Lakers are probably not worried. I understand the point they are trying to make here, but the reality is that Lakers would only be in trouble if they were in lower seeds.

Luka and Lebron works perfectly together, that was the one big question and they answered that already so nobody doubts their chances to do well, we are pretty certain when Lebron returns they are going to win. That is how they looked for a long stretchy since Luka joined, went on a winning streak all the way until Lebron got injured, hence when Lebron returns, they may go back to their winning ways without much issues. Yes, they still need to go without Lebron and then win some guys without them. This is a stretch wherein Luka can proved on how he will carry the Lakers, don't think that just because Lebron is out, they will not go in full. We all know that Lebron really takes care of his body, although he has several injuries in his career, it's not like a season ending. And maybe if they losses some of their games, they will still be in good position to make the playoffs. And for NBA bettors, it's better to put money on Luka, maybe he will put a good strong number with his PRA (Points+Rebounds+Assists).
