Boston vs OKC, I was surprised to see Boston as the favorite here? It's this a trap? Or someone is not going to play from the OKC?

Where’s the trap in this? Boston has been dominant at home with a 5-game winning streak, while OKC, despite having the best record, just lost to the Nuggets in their last game.

I think the spread makes sense, and I’d back the home team here. This could be a potential NBA Finals matchup, and Boston will definitely want to make a statement that they’re still the best team being the defending champs.

I go with that as well, a possible final matchup since both are also performing well this regular season, though it's not Boston who's on the very top from the East side but experienced wise, they are really capable to reach that same spot and might be possible to defend their titles, let see if how OKC will play this as visiting team, knowing the Garden they also got huge crowd and surely it added some boost for the players especially competing with a known contender for sure fans will love to see both teams playing their system and will try to surpass one another.

For me, it’s not surprising because this is Celtics home court advantage game and Jalen Williams is ruled out tonight. Although Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are doubtful tonight, I still pick the Celtics to win this game. One of them might not playing tonight.

Also, I think the OKC players are still tired since their last two games were against the Denver Nuggets. They lost their last game against the Nuggets but if Jalen Williams hadn’t gotten injured that game they probably would have won that. Anyway, there are a lot of games tonight so let’s just pick the ones that seem like sure win like the Hawks, Spurs and Grizzlies. I think they’re sure win today.

These 2 teams are basically a pickem.  Home team gets the advantage.  Boston home court is huge.  I actually thougjt they might be a 3.5-4 point favorite here tonight.  Its basketball so anything can happen but betting against a home team like boston on such a low spread is risky.  Good luck wither way should be a good one.  I got boston winning 117-111.  Sga getting 15 fta scoring 34 points.

Why is it surprising? Boston Celtics at home are really good the only downside for Boston in this game is that Porzingis wont play but i dont think that wont effect much. OKC has a chance but they have to be on another level so they can beat Celtics in Boston honestly,if Boston dosent hit threes like they do OKC will have a chance to win it.

So far though, it's live to it's hype, end of 3rd quarter, score is 88-88 and it's really hard to see which one is going to win. Although the Celtics has the advantage as they are playing at home. And both are really playing good defense as it's obvious that they have great players that play D. Although the OKC has lead the game most of the time. But the defending champion keeps coming back.

Tatum is leading the Celtics but Brown seems to struggle. Same with SGA, the Celtics are putting a lot of players in front of him and they are wise not to body him because they know that SGA loves to use his body to get that foul.

So let's see how the 4th quarter will look like.

It's over now, OKC won already, Boston put up a good fight, but it's not enough, as Brown did get into his average and then fouled out chasing SGA. Then Tatum although had good scoring output, disappeared in the 4th quarter. And it just shows how good OKC is at both ends of the floor. They not only rely on SGA here, but there are 6 players as well who scored at least 10 points or more. Chet has 23 and 15, and the ended Celtics 5 game winning streak. I thought SGA will get double double as well, but he had a good 7 assists and even had good rest at times while Tatum had like less than 2 minutes rest while Brown didn't had one. I think Derrick White as well didn't finished the game as he had 6 fouls the same with Brown.

And that's where the trap is, I know that the Celtics has five game winning streak, but they've won on a Laker team without Lebron, and then low teams like Sixers, Jazz, and Portland. The only thing that might have a good win is against Denver, but it was a close game.

While OKC was in a winning streak as well, like 9 or 10 games before they've lost to the Nuggets, although they beat the Nuggets prior as this game is back to back for both teams.

The Thunder have secured victories in their last 10 matchups against Eastern Conference teams. Meanwhile, the Celtics have dropped three of their last four games against the Thunder with a winning record.

They definitely outperform during the regular season but I’m not sure they have the talent to run through the playoffs. I’d love to be wrong but when the postseason rolls around it’s the top tier superstars that typically run the show. I don’t think Shai is there yet, but his regular season stats would say otherwise. We’ll see…

Yeah, and I see that they really made it very hard for the Celtics to score, and White and Brown has difficult time to guard SGA that's why their offense suffered as Brown looks tired chasing SGA around.

Lot of unsung heroes as well with OKC, those role players like Wallace and Williams and Isiah Joe. So it was a big win for the Thunder pushing them ahead in the West. The Celtics will have to contained the Cavs in their conference if they want to make it to the finals again.

And how table turns, it was Kobe that complains about Dwight being soft when they were team mates in Lakers. And it really ended up badly for Dwight and if I'm remember correctly, there were an interview wherein Dwight regret that.

In any case, we've seen Lebron has this kind of attitude of a diva, we won't remember those telecast, "the decision", wherein he goes off and telling the world that he will be leaving the Cavs to go to Miami, and for others this is a bitch mode.

It’s a different story now for OKC compared last year since SGA is already developed well so good in clutch while he has reliable teammates now compared before especially now that Chet is back and healthy.

I think OKC is not a choke team anymore since SGA is unstoppable with Chet presence inside.

On the other hand, Lakers is indeed so hard to beat on game 7 series since they already have Luka that is so good finisher.
