Mavericks beat the Miami Heat. AD and Ryan really changed the whole vibe of Mavs team. We can see the difference every game. And for everyone still doubting Klay, the guy has been quietly putting together solid performances.
Still, if Dallas wants to be more than just a respectable record team, they have to clean up those slow starts and defend the perimeter way better.

And it's very uncanny for the Mavs to have a winning streak this season as others might have write them off based on their previous performance. But Cooper Flag and AD are playing very good in their last 3 games and it seems that Klay has found his shooting touch as we can see some glimpse of him like playing with the Warriors, that catch and shot from the outside. So this makes the Western conference more interesting now, although there still a lot of games before the All Star break. So let's see if this kind of streak will have the momentum for the Dallas to climb to a better position as they slowly gaining back their confidence and maybe the drama is behind them now as Nico is already out of the picture.

Mavs are definitely stronger when AD is playing and the same goes for Cooper Flagg. During their first few games, people were calling Cooper Flagg a bust, but now he’s suddenly the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.
Aside from that, he set a record as the youngest player to score 20+ points in three consecutive games, next to LeBron James.

If AD can stay healthy, I’m sure the Mavs would have a good season. But knowing how often he gets injured, it’s looking unlikely that they’ll even make the play-in. lol

With the Giannis trade request now official, people are looking into who can trade for him and where he wants to go.

He gave 4 possible destinations.

Golden State Warriors
Los Angeles Lakers
New York Knicks
San Antonio Spurs

I think the Spurs are the most motivated and probably have the most draft picks and young assets to make a trade happen, so that is my most likely destination.

The Golden State Warriors have wanted a star to pair with Curry, and they have Butler and Kuminga to trade.  This is a possibility.

The Los Angeles Lakers have Austin Reeves and a couple picks they could send to the Bucks.  I'd like to see this happen, but seems unlikely.

The New York Knicks are another destination but I'm not sure why he would want to go there.  They would have to gut the team to get him and likely would be just as bad as the Bucks.

In the last game, Alperen and Kevin Durant combined for 52 points and in the jazz games they put up 63 and 52 together. KD joining the team has really elevated Alperen Sengun’s game and boosted his scoring average. Their chemistry is honestly incredible. watching this duo is a joy.

It gave him a chance to actually have an option. No disrespect to others, but with Sheppard and Durant on the floor, Alperen has two people he can dish out to and the teams needs to defend. Before this, they had people like Brooks and Jalen who would not hit a three if their life depended on it, and because of that teams would collapse on Alperen, and would make things harder for him.

Now Alperen can go inside, and if teams do double him then he can pass out to Durant, and if they do not double him then he can play one on one and do a good job scoring himself. This is why this season he has been a lot better, because he finally has people around him that defenders can't just let go, and that is what makes things easier for him to play.

Lots of hate to Lebron because he keeps jumping to a team just to build an all star team and compete on the championship. He has no sense of loyalty to a team probably because of what he experienced on the Cavs the first time when he has no decent teammates to help so decided to a different team that will give him help which Miami did.

Skills wised, Bron is the top player on his era. He is just on wrong team during the time that he is already reaching his pick that’s why he can’t create a dynasty on a single team.

But if the Cavs initially acquire good players like they did when Bron came back I think he will stay there for a long time.

I definitely don’t want to be unfair to Lebron. He’s absolutely a top level basketball player. But the picture I just saw on social media honestly made me laugh and think.

The best player has their own era, and each GOAT has their own era as well. But those who like to debate who is the best, we are talking about the best player of all time. In fact, none can be compared because their eras are different and their opponents will definitely be very different too. Michael Jordan played briefly during Kobe Bryant's era, but Kobe was already old and about to retire, his time was over, so they can't be compared. Maybe the ones who can be compared are Kobe Bryant and LeBron James because when LeBron James was still young and playing, Kobe Bryant was also still quite young and still at his peak performance.

It's safe to say LeBron was built for basketball. Watching him and Kobe in the NBA was always a joy. Now we have LeBron (RIP Kobe). for sure Giannis will pick the team that has a chance or have bigger chance to make it to the finals, for the bucks to trade Giannis is a big relief for the team, they have been suffering, and rebuilding is needed, they have lost lots of draft picks, they would need to recover, for the lakers chasing Giannis is risky, and like what you said they already set the team, they are going to just get players in the market, they are good at taking low salary players and turn it into an asset for trade.

I think the Lakers have shown they can thrive even without LeBron carrying the scoring load, as Luka and Austin Reaves are stepping up. Even with LeBron not putting up big numbers, they still managed to secure the win.

Everyone is expecting it, seeing how Lebron have been playing since his return. Not sure if he's still suffering from that major injury that causes him to miss the start of the season, but one thing is for sure, he's significantly slowed down, and playing as a 3rd option will be the wisest choice for the Lakers to have a shot at the NBA finals this year. Even a 4th option behind Rui is also a wise decision, because he can facilitate and impact the game without scoring too much. See how the Lakers are right now with low usage rate for LeBron.
It's now time for Reaves to shine along with Luka. In one of the interviews, LeBron said he knew it from the start that Reaves can ball. It's just a matter of when he's gonna take over, and this year is gonna be the start of that. Safe to say now, LeBron's career is over. He should be considering retirement next year.

Reaves average like 30 points without Luka, and so I'm not surprised on how he carry the Lakers here. It was really a good game, the Lakers lead always 80% of the game until the Raptors playing at home catch up with them and make the game very close. I thought that the Lakers are going to lose this one, but Reaves come in clutch and also Lebron with that great passed to Rui for that 3 point corner shot and win the game for them. Although it really broke the record of Lebron for not scoring 10+ or more. But for those who criticized him about his concern on that record, this game shows that he doesn't care anymore as he has set records that can't be match in decades. He could have taken that shot but decided to passed it to Rui and not shoot for that record of his.

If I'm not mistaken he did get 51 points against Sacramento correct me if I'm wrong, James is old i think father time is catching up, but i don't think he is retiring maybe like 1 year more, long since left him?
the guy is still balling against rookie or even other team prime players, sometimes a player can have an off night, but his assist to an open man, contributed for a win to the lakers, he is still contributing to the team, despite being 40, i don't think there is a problem for him still playing, rui shot for the win ofcourse.
