The reason why OKC is doing so great is not SGA, while it is true that he is a superstar, there are other teams with superstars as well, and there have been many teams with superstars before as well, all of whom had worse results.

Just having a superstar doesn't make you that great, even if a player averages 50-40-90% on the field, and averages 40 points and 10 rebounds and 10 assists per game, if the team around him is horrible, then they won't be good. Remember that time when Harden was peak? On his prime dude was dropping 50 like it was a normal thing, he was far superior than SGA playing today, but they didn't win, why? Because just one star doesn't make you a great team. OKC is great as a whole, and that's what matters.

Provably not since if he's teammates are pure trash for sure that result will not be as good as what we can see today on their standings.

OKC is so lucky that they draft or acquired those hard working guys that can adapt on their roles. As the result they win their first championship and they are bound to win another one especially that they are still performing so good this season. There are so many great players right now on NBA but lots of them didn't became successful its because most teams are relying on their stars. While in OKC almost all of them can score and defend their opponents.

I can still remember the young KING who played the ball well and shoulder his team CAVS to Finals and just cake walk the east for many years.
With have Z and other not star players on the CAVS but the KING manage to go to the Finals,. He even beat the Magic 5 of Detroit., fought the Big 3 of Celtics.
He made Champs all the team he played. He now owns the stat sheet.

Yes, I remember how good LeBron was during his prime, especially in the playoffs. In fact, he single-handedly carried the Cavs, and even then, he was often criticized for not being able to win his first title for a long time. It's worth noting that MJ would hardly have been able to win as much without Pippen as he did with him. The same goes for Kobe, who wouldn't have been able to win titles without Shaq.

I kind of have a second opinion to this majorly cos of the Warriors game. In games before the Warriors game, SGA sits out of the 4th quarter most of the time. In the game against the Warriors, they had to bring him into the game in the 4th when the Warriors led by 4 points. Then he went on to score the clutch points that handed them the win. He is the focal point of the OKC team and if he gets injured, although I don't see that happening, they'd have problems.

Here we go again with this never-ending debate. No matter how you look at it, there’s really no final “correct” or “wrong” answer because everyone sees it from a different angle. But the biggest factor in all of this, and the reason none of us can claim absolute truth, is simple, we’re all biased.

Some people say Jordan is the GOAT (and honestly, I agree).
Others will say LeBron or Kobe. But I’m not gonna fight anyone over it. They have their belief, I have mine, and that’s it.

NBA legends themselves are talking on that video, and they have the right to do it because they played in the NBA, and they know everything about the NBA. They played on a different era, and obviously both are different. I will not say that MJ is the GOAT, or LeBron is the GOAT or other NBA player is the GOAT. All of them have different accolades that nobody will ever do it again or at least it will take a lot of time before it happens like LeBron's 42,000+ points and counting and Jordan's 6-0 NBA Finals record.

I hope let's stop this debate once and for all because at the end of the day, this isn't debatable as well. The media is the one that's creating fire to this "debate" which isn't a debate in the first place.

Mavericks beat the Miami Heat. AD and Ryan really changed the whole vibe of Mavs team. We can see the difference every game. And for everyone still doubting Klay, the guy has been quietly putting together solid performances.
Still, if Dallas wants to be more than just a respectable record team, they have to clean up those slow starts and defend the perimeter way better.

It really makes a difference when AD is there. He only got 17 points, but he also grabbed 17 rebounds. If only this guy could stay healthy, maybe they could still elevate their standing. But the truth is, he’s kinda injury prone. No AD means no chance of doing that. Flagg can’t lift the team yet. Maybe in a few more years he can, as long as he doesn’t get an injury that could halt his potential. Once Irving comes back, plus AD and Flagg, the Mavs will be back as a playoff team, that’s for sure.

And it's very uncanny for the Mavs to have a winning streak this season as others might have write them off based on their previous performance. But Cooper Flag and AD are playing very good in their last 3 games and it seems that Klay has found his shooting touch as we can see some glimpse of him like playing with the Warriors, that catch and shot from the outside. So this makes the Western conference more interesting now, although there still a lot of games before the All Star break. So let's see if this kind of streak will have the momentum for the Dallas to climb to a better position as they slowly gaining back their confidence and maybe the drama is behind them now as Nico is already out of the picture.

Mavs are definitely stronger when AD is playing and the same goes for Cooper Flagg. During their first few games, people were calling Cooper Flagg a bust, but now he’s suddenly the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.
Aside from that, he set a record as the youngest player to score 20+ points in three consecutive games, next to LeBron James.

If AD can stay healthy, I’m sure the Mavs would have a good season. But knowing how often he gets injured, it’s looking unlikely that they’ll even make the play-in. lol

With the Giannis trade request now official, people are looking into who can trade for him and where he wants to go.

Golden State Warriors
Los Angeles Lakers
New York Knicks
San Antonio Spurs

I think the Spurs are the most motivated and probably have the most draft picks and young assets to make a trade happen, so that is my most likely destination.

The Golden State Warriors have wanted a star to pair with Curry, and they have Butler and Kuminga to trade.  This is a possibility.

The Los Angeles Lakers have Austin Reeves and a couple picks they could send to the Bucks.  I'd like to see this happen, but seems unlikely.

The New York Knicks are another destination but I'm not sure why he would want to go there.  They would have to gut the team to get him and likely would be just as bad as the Bucks.

In the last game, Alperen and Kevin Durant combined for 52 points and in the jazz games they put up 63 and 52 together. KD joining the team has really elevated Alperen Sengun’s game and boosted his scoring average. Their chemistry is honestly incredible. watching this duo is a joy.

It gave him a chance to actually have an option. No disrespect to others, but with Sheppard and Durant on the floor, Alperen has two people he can dish out to and the teams needs to defend. Before this, they had people like Brooks and Jalen who would not hit a three if their life depended on it, and because of that teams would collapse on Alperen, and would make things harder for him.

Now Alperen can go inside, and if teams do double him then he can pass out to Durant, and if they do not double him then he can play one on one and do a good job scoring himself. This is why this season he has been a lot better, because he finally has people around him that defenders can't just let go, and that is what makes things easier for him to play.

I definitely don’t want to be unfair to Lebron. He’s absolutely a top level basketball player. But the picture I just saw on social media honestly made me laugh and think.

The best player has their own era, and each GOAT has their own era as well. But those who like to debate who is the best, we are talking about the best player of all time. In fact, none can be compared because their eras are different and their opponents will definitely be very different too. Michael Jordan played briefly during Kobe Bryant's era, but Kobe was already old and about to retire, his time was over, so they can't be compared. Maybe the ones who can be compared are Kobe Bryant and LeBron James because when LeBron James was still young and playing, Kobe Bryant was also still quite young and still at his peak performance.

It's safe to say LeBron was built for basketball. Watching him and Kobe in the NBA was always a joy. Now we have LeBron (RIP Kobe). Watching him play and enjoying basketball to the fullest is the best thing we can do. Watching him play with the Los Angeles Lakers now brings me joy. He's 40 years old and still playing amazing.

for sure Giannis will pick the team that has a chance or have bigger chance to make it to the finals, for the bucks to trade Giannis is a big relief for the team, they have been suffering, and rebuilding is needed, they have lost lots of draft picks, they would need to recover, for the lakers chasing Giannis is risky, and like what you said they already set the team, they are going to just get players in the market, they are good at taking low salary players and turn it into an asset for trade.

The streak is over, but what a win for the Lakers! LeBron’s clutch assist to Rui Hachimura for the three sealed the victory. I think the Lakers have shown they can thrive even without LeBron carrying the scoring load, as Luka and Austin Reaves are stepping up. Even with LeBron not putting up big numbers, they still managed to secure the win.

No they're not, what a pass from The King and what a clutch Rui. Damn was happy they win that one but tbh I'm not impressed with Ayton especially with his rebounding in this game, he's too lazy to rebound. I thought it would be easy for him for DD but it's not.
