To be honest with you, I see no reason why people are still gambling on this casino, owning to the fact that lightlord stopped posting on this forum quite a long time ago, and there is currently no known representative on here, just incase a customer's encounters a problem and support isn't responding..
And again, there are currently many online casinos on this forum to choose from, I can't really understand the logic as to what still drives some people to gamble on a casino that looks like it's dying.

Simple answer, because they are loyal players who have been in Bitvest for long time so high possibility that they still trust the site.
I checked the chatroom, the activity is good enough and I do not find any complaint there means that everything is still running fine.
Lightlord is not active here anymore but it does not mean that there is no support in the website (I have not tried how fast is the current support in responding players).

If you do have the feel on having no security or having no assurance in about on a particular site just because you cant really be able to see any activity or any responses came from them, then you could always

have the option or choice to make on which you could really just simply transfer on something that do response way more better and do make out some good marketing and other stuff on which you would really be

The fact we can't deny is that,  Bedvist and its sister casino have had a long run of publicity and brand marketing in the last few years back and that marketing strategy has pushed in a lot of players to both casinos and their community base is well-structured enough that even though they don't make any further brand marketing, there can continue with businesses for as long as their want.

But it is also better to have an active community-oriented platform compared to a close community with now recorded activities from both team and players alike.

what I could notice is that to be able to see the chat the person needs to log in to the casino, as I don't remember my login details so I couldn't see the chat, but even so I would say that people shouldn't exaggerate in putting big amounts of money in this casino, this is because in the past the OP has not behaved well at some point, but of course people can change their behavior and do good again, but unfortunately with the absence of OP it is very difficult to see if he changed or not, this is the big question, if OP doesn't enter the forum for a long time, there's no way for someone to prove that he still owns the casino, we have to think of the following way:

a casino is a big business, so a casino gives profit to the owner of the casino, let's think as if we were owners of a casino, someone here owning a casino (a big business) would stay away from contact with their customers knowing that Is there a lot of competition in this market? think about it, does it make sense for someone who owns a casino to stay away from his customers? stay 7 months missing? For some, it's a big thing to focused on when there's their thread that used to be active before but no longer active anymore today.

As long as the site is running, complaints are taken through their ticket and they're catered one by one I guess it's all good. We don't usually see those complaints here anymore about the ticking and drying balance.

Why would you assume he disappeared? Just because he's not active on bitcointalk? The customer service is responding, and I don't imagine a small site would hire any staff to answer customer service queries, so it's likely LL is responding himself.

Admins being active here do not make your funds any safer. Unless you're concerned that LL might be dead and the access to the cold wallet is lost forever - but that's a pretty wild conclusion based only on a fact that he's not posting here anymore.

Why would you assume he disappeared? Just because he's not active on bitcointalk? The customer service is responding, and I don't imagine a small site would hire any staff to answer customer service queries, so it's likely LL is responding himself.

Sure, if he/they made a conscious decision that they will no longer be active on this forum (for whatever reason) - it would be nice to let people know. But the way it usually works is people are moving away to other things naturally. There are plenty of prominent members that are no longer active but are still alive. I myself had a few years break from this forum but never intended to, it just happened.
And if you consider that LL stopped being active not too long after the (fully deserved) scam accusation drama - then it's no surprise that he might no longer find this place enjoyable.

And if the hot wallets get refilled when needed (even if sometimes with delay), that means that there is someone out there with access to funds, so it's not like the site is abandoned and operates o auto-pilot.

How do you know that withdrawal is been pending out? There are people who do actually play on the site doesnt experience out this problem.

That is because bitvest is one of those old crypto casinos that are until now operating but many of their batch mates have already died. It is not easy because so many new casinos are coming out from time to time, offering something different.

This is why I respect this casino so much for staying strong in the industry also despite of the criticisms that they get from this forum, starting from the problems with their hot wallet to the delayed payments in signature campaign and from the inactivity of the op and his partner in crime. If we don't like bitvest then it would be better to just ignore this site and avoid making negative statements about them because the team itself is also silent and does not throw the same statement.

But they are showing some errors and this is really annoying especially if you are the person encounter such problems here. It may happen not only in Bitvest, it may even happen to casino with an active representative in this forum and the worst case (site turn to a scam) is that you may not even able to reach the representative although they are still active in this forum.
This is why it is always recommended to players to not hold money in a casino's account for long time.
Once we done with our gambling session, better to withdraw it but if anyone want to hold some, it is better to hold not big amount of money.
The most important thing for us as gambler is that we should have a mindset that we are the first one who responsible to what we do.

Why though? I agree that repeating the same (unconfirmed) assumptions over and over again is not very helpful and frankly pretty stupid, but why would you advocate for this thread to be inactive? If there's anything related to BitVest that anyone would like to share, that's fine. That's what threads and forums are for. It's not like we have to choose between the total shitposting and inactivity - there's a lot of room in between.
