i used the ccminer off the zpool benchmarks page and i also had to install cuda toolkit 7.5 to get the stats going on win 7 64 bit with that gtx 950....

Hadn't noticed the preview builds there. You might find the 32-bit cuda 6.5 one is faster on most algos.

Not sure if we will get a password length increase. Got the usual enamouring response.

I've noticed skein tends to concentrate hash on the most profitable coin, whereas myr-gr seems to spread hashes across all coins (where we only seem to solve low diff blocks on a regular basis). What is the difference in set up here?

By default, zpool will adjust the difficulty of your miner automatically over time until you have from 5 to 15 submits per minute. It's a good trade off between bandwidth and accuracy.

Does this still hold true? Since decred=602 was setting my difficulty, I want to manually specify and optimise the difficulty settings again. I've noticed the stratum is terrible at dropping difficulty even when far less than 5/min for an extended period of time. Also, a lucky run easily pushes the stratum difficulty up. What is the recommended share submission rate over an extended period now? (not too worried about bandwidth, but its probably the load on your database server which I should be thinking of!) I think when I last looked at the code, there seemed to be some sort of algo wide PPLNS system of payment, so hopefully it is not necessary to get a bite on every coin. How long is that PPLNS time setting?

I think it's because the diff gaps are much greater. There's nothing different to control that between algos.

Been trying to setup a config without specifying d=nnnn in the password field to let the stratum adjust the difficulty. I've found some major issues:

1. If decred is specified in the password string, e.g decred=602, without the d=nnnn it appears to be setting difficulty to 602 !
2. Decred and blakecoin algos, I've never seen a share submission below 1.000, yet the stratum starts at 0.5. This leads to poor reported hash rate and poor returns.

On a minor note, it seems stratum ups difficulty quite quickly, but doesn't drop difficulty very quickly.

So back to manually setting the difficulty in the password field (which I didn't want to do to try and keep the password string length down).

Anyone else experienced this?
Yes I have severe difficulty fluctuations .... the pool most definitely needs a difficulty adjuster like nicehash has  plz add that Crackfoo.  Thx

I just stopped mining SHA256 with address 1eVaQWLK @ 3:00am eastern time this morning and the reason I did is it hasn't shown hashrate or gains at the pool for several hours, I have lost some BTC, can you check on that please?

SKC looks like an abandoned coin, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=322828.msg14070923#msg14070923

pool puts lots of MH/s on the network with unknown total hashrate and it produces lots of orphans, there is a mitigation plan to avoid that like it does on myr-gr port

pool with 190Mh/s on 3,1Mh/s total network at the moment, crackfoo probably should restart daemon or pause/remove it as it is a waste of hashrate atm...

for now, can you try changing btc addresses? Had one other report of the same thing and that seemed to work, but not finding much on this side. Still looking into it.

Looks like the latest changes made introduced a bug where BTC addresses <34 chars in length are reported as invalid and therefore not logging shares.

If you can, please switch to an address with 34 characters.
