Yeah, I do wait till it all syncs. But it does still lock up sometimes. Maybe it does when it can't talk to the remote node? Anyways, I got all my MN's running again now. Just annoyed that half of them was down for a whole day unexpectedly.

What's up everyone...glad to see this one still right where it needs to be...and still the rare bct thread where people are thinking and talking things through instead of the usual drama. We can make this one great as long as we keep going on the path we are on. I moved and haven't been able to check in or get my MN's back up yet hopefully this weekend I can get them all back up and get back to snagging my chunk of you Fuckers blocks lol

all good my friend, in the recent alt price reversal , dash on which this coin is based still held strong, this coin is based on dash , so if in such weak situation we are doing pretty darn good, you got some good people behind this operation for example do check git commits (it is steady and active and person knows what he is doing) https://github.com/Darknet-Crypto/Darknet/commits/masterI could pretty much stop now MN's I am running and wait for POS but it is important for all of us to keep network as active as possible and good things will happen have a wonderful weekend!

to boost this coin
make masternodes much easier and faster to set up
the process to set up multiple masternodes is quite tedious and boring.
Can we not create a few buttons inside the wallet and get some vps ready with some forms with empty fields. We press the buttons in the wallet copy and past to the fields in the vps ...boom masternodes are running.
automate it as much as possible. We need to get as many masternodes running as possible.

That would be very helpful. I'll admit, although I'm relatively new to Linux Im having trouble setting MNs up using misc. tutorials for set up. Im sure if I was on Windows It'd be no big deal but I'm focusing on leaving them for good sooo... If anyone wants to help, feel free to PM or direct me to some info I may have skipped over on how to set up my wallet correctly (linux mint) and MNs that'd be awesome. EDIT: This is starting to look pretty

I like your idea! This option will really boost DNET.

nice concept so far. I'm wondering how it can be that nobody seems to be able to solo mine, me neither. Normally I get things working sooner or later, but this time, no cigar. I'm also using latest sgminer (5.2.1 or 5.1.1) with -k quarkcoin -o http://127.0.0.1:51473 -u user -p pass but it can't connect. I would really appreciate help with this as I like this coin. EDIT: yes, I created a darknet.conf rpcport=51473 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass

Earlier in the thread I had posted a link to a 'Dual Stack' Masternode set-up guide for Tor, as well as some basic iptables linux firewall stuff. Unfortunately, some free domain hosting that had been stable for over two years seems to have now gone kaput. I will coble the info. back together and post it in the thread, probably sometime later this week. The guide is somewhat improved from completed research anyhow.

Telegram seems to do well for projects like this Or would it not be in good dnet spirit, as public chats aren't encrypted

Here is a new proposal to gather funding to create a truly untraceable transaction. The previous proposal was voted in, but was not paid as the initial budget fund was paid first.
I have done some research and have devised a means to create a truly untraceable transaction in a 100% trust-less manner. Utilizing the same masternodes that we have right now.
Proposal to Add to Darknet Untraceable Transactions;
hash=7ab87af4eb15979b0e542e389a37022feedf0455abf0494bb3df2fcadab210eb
"mnbudget vote 7ab87af4eb15979b0e542e389a37022feedf0455abf0494bb3df2fcadab210eb yes" to vote in favor
"mnbudget vote 7ab87af4eb15979b0e542e389a37022feedf0455abf0494bb3df2fcadab210eb no" to vote against
"mnbudget getinfo untraceable-tx” to check the status

To my understanding the wallet uses a different protocol of communicating with miners so it doesn't work. Here is a new proposal to gather funding to create a truly untraceable transaction. The previous proposal was voted in, but was not paid as the initial budget fund was paid first.
