my DB got corrupted and in the end the error disappeared and the client didn't load at all, it stopped right after loading wallet, simply exited without any error, now I'm syncing from scratch again but it's pretty slow, is there any official bootstrap ? if so, link it please

New Wallet Release

Non-Mandatory but HIGHLY recommended PIVX v2.2.1 wallet update has been released with numerous bug fixes, enhancements & stability improvements.

Info, download link, upgrade steps & FAQ below:

https://forum.pivx.org/t/pivx-wallet-2-2-1-release/

Code:
NOTE: v2.2.1 is only backward compatible with v2.2.0. If you are running v2.1.7 or older, you MUST upgrade to v2.2.x or your wallet will not be on the right chain.

the price  right now is really cheap better to buy and hold possible to reach 5$ as speculation still alive, we better to look forward and like
other crypto project we just better to keep watching the progress and enjoy our big profits.

Was in the same boat. Built v2.2.1.0 from source, and it started and repaired the DB. Finally stable and staking. You should upgrade if you haven't. Binaries are now posted:

Is PIVX just a copy-paste (with maybe upgrades) of DASH?
Why is this project so successful?

I downloaded the binary as soon as they became available and it fixed the problem.

Why is this project so successful?

It's a fork with a different consensus algorithm, custom reward logic and an updated Bitcoin core to name a few.

Why is it so successful? I think it's due to developers being more accessible & its development being more open to the community.
Also, it is trying to further improve the 2 key areas so that it will have more open / inclusive Governance & truly Private transfer.
So the developers are currently working on a completely different governance system and a custom implementation of libzerocoin.

glad there is a new wallet version, will try it and report if the heap memory error is gone within the next days
here on BCT and github

sorry but this was an annoying release, every day i had to copy the blockchain backup to my staking wallet;
so far version 2.1.3.0 was the stablest

nvm, i hope for the best

Great answer.
Thanks. Will do more research on this project.

Don't be discouraged by the price, it's still being manipulated on Bittrex (intentionally kept low, with almost 98% volume), hold your coins

Is there a place where one can see the number of current masternodes? OR history of masternodes?  How many are there?  How many were there over time?  Can new masternodes be started (believe it's still 10k PIVX)?  Thx.
