There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

How do you calculate estimated staking reward and time to generate reward for n amount of coins ?

I answer you, I hope you will help someone else (as this question is quite recurring) :

http://www.cryptonode.co/

This link should be put in the OP if it's asked a lot, I didn't find any info about staking rewards, only about the masternodes.

BTW, if the calculator says 4days to reward and I stake for 3days without reward then I restart the PC, open and unlock the wallet again, will I have to wait 1day or 4day ? (I know these numbers are averages but the staking itself is picked by random or it is measured, who stakes for how long and who is next in row to get a reward ?)

you can input the numbers of coins you have and it will give you an approximate time until you get a stake.

You have to keep the wallet open as staking rewards is based on time X number of coins, which gives a value. the higher the closer you are to get a stake. However if you close the wallet, the time value restart. As such you have to keep it open all the time, and btw it's what secure the network.

I hope it helped. happy staking.

I see, so there is no luck in staking, it's time staking * number of coins you own and once you get a reward you get back to the bottom of the list. Thanks

Hoping better luck than the guys that bought WWB at 80k sat in April'16 and haven´t seen that price again...  Undecided Well, maybe in this pump they will see it, 2M$ marketcap, not bad, but watching the graph it seems already in reversal. Good luck.
Meanwhile, we will try to continue helping the community here and in the forums instead going to other coin's threads to spray some FUD. I think it's the best way to try to recover price. And you?
Salute

Have you tried a real DEX??? But a real DEX like this!!!

I just bought some coin around 55k from my point it's very cheap at this price. I would like to say thanks to bitcoin which made this possible to get filled my orders. PIVX is still much better than DASH and it will start rising after this crisis.

no problem here with latest wallet for days. maybe delete the chain and resync or load from backup?
you can allways sell your coins (but i would not atm!)

@muchoman are you sure? my wallet needs ~500mb RAM (not growing) after running for about 72 hrs

Yes, leaking badly, predicting crash in near future.

strange can not see this problem on 3 windows pc (w7 + 10 + server 2011) and a ubuntu vps.
you should post this on off forum or slack so the devs can look at it

dunno how you've come to this conclusion, but would need some substantial evidence to support the claim as none of my instances across multiple platforms are anywhere near that after weeks of running. File an issue on github and give some details.

Ofcourse it was a clear manipulation... someone puted a big sell order of around 30.000 pivx and then removed them. Why do you think pivx is expensive? Look at gnosis!! two weeks old coin and from the begining in top 15. Just dont listen to people who think that the pivx will crash. It is always the same. When I was new in this business I sold a lot of coins in fear that the price will fall. But every single time coins gained the price back. I bought zcash at 50$. After a month it was 30$. I couldnt wait because I was stupid and I sold the zcash. After short time the price now is 100$. Thats just one case.
