There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

What are the future projections for Bitcoin?
Just go and take a look at the speculation section and you will see what people think the future will look like for Bitcoin. Just take all those predictions with a grain of salt. BUT NO ONE CAN PREDICT THE FUTURE SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE FOR BITCOIN IS.

What are the future projections for Bitcoin?
Everything stating about the future of Bitcoin is just a blind guess, anything can happen to bitcoin price, it may even drop to 200USD but even then may people will invest considering it as a price drop and the prime time to buy BTC

You gonna find 1000s of people with believable theories, taking into account 100s of factors. The question then becomes should you find a flawless projection (up to that point) that hit the nail on the head 100 times in a row, would you sell your house and everything else you own, ready for the 101st prediction?  Shocked

What are the future projections for Bitcoin?

Question made to many times here in bitcointalk. Formulated in the all possible ways. Always find new things written. And, according to me, everyone have right in that what write. Because cannot be anyone which can tell with big probabilities something that can put all the others. The future of bitcoin is unknown. Can be theoretical hypothesis about its future but remain and will remain always only theory. We for sure may tell that we all hope a brilliant future for it. There are people like me who believe hard in this kind of this future. And are not few but to many. Almost all the bitcoiners (who call themselves such). But no one have facts or possibility to argue fully it. Unless using the theory. But even the theory is much important remain only hypothetical one. There are weak signs recently that can be verified various aspects of it but are not enough to make probable realistic projections. There are to many the other factors which can fit with each other and what is verified to do and tell well arguments about a probable verifiable future of bitcoin. But one thing sure. Bitcoin will have always strong followers which will fight for the good future of it.

if you mean the inherent features tha may help bitcoin solve its problems, we can say blockstream with the sidechain tech, it's the main factor here

well inherently when we have "halving" btc will rise as supply will go down. Also in order for these huge asic companies to keep selling their crappy miners they will need btc to rise.  So maybe its a little conspiracy / supply and demand but its for sure going up imo.

The future is definitely bright enough to make people believe into Bitcoin. I hope a government will give Bitcoin a chance and adopt it as currency alongside their own fiat currency. I am sure African countries and South American countries will benefit from it and see their economy get a massive boost. There has to be only 1 government to start things off and show the rest what Bitcoin means for them. Other countries will then follow.

yes, there are a lot of events happening later! But bitcoin's price is so volatile! No one can really control the price as expect! But I am sure in the long term it will have more user case and the adoption will be boosted to a new level.

Only those bitcoin whales who have millions of btc can influence the price of btc directly, otherwise it us(supply and demand)

Government will do that when they find a way to control it, or maybe to make big profit on it. 10 years is nice prediction, but for which country? If we talk here globaly, some countries have a long way to cross for that to happen.

The thing is it should not be controlled by governements. Let's hope it will stay decentralized.

The countries with the highest chance of adopting Bitcoin are the weakest countries in their part of the world. Wealthy countries won't look into adopting Bitcoin as they can continue with their fiat currencies for plenty of more years.

I don't think there will be ANY government out there which will adapt bitcoin as their currency, include it as reserve currency or use it in any serious way.
I am convinced that Bitcoin will be auxiliary currency and never used as primary means of payment.

It's impossible that paypal will officially allow bitcoin. Paypal don't like to deal with his rivals.
