Bitcoin still has an extremely long future ahead of itself. It is still only in its early stages. I believe that Bitcoin will never replace fiat, as much as people say it will, I just don't think so. In the next couple of years, I think that we will see the price of Bitcoin breach $1000. With the demand increasing and halving just around the corner, we will be seeing this price rise in the next couple of years.

Bitcoin and fiat both have its own pros and cons, the pros of bitcoins are that it can be sent and received over the world without face to face contact, useful for online transactions and even cheaper fees. Money can turn out to be more useful in our daily life uses, as a main way of spending cash. Bitcoin may not be useful for some, so maybe in the future, there can be like a bitcoin cash card hehe, and that would be quite nice.. Don't need to worry, bitcoin will continue and more people will get to know, and even use it.

I think someday bitcoin will exceed paypal, which is very easy to use and transactions are so quick to make bitcoin be better than paypal, it's only a matter of time until bitcoin recognized in the world

Denmark for instance might also go fully digital soon.

The biggest thing a nation has to decide whether to just use mobile paying apps vs things like Bitcoin, will be that they have to decide to fully go off fiat in general. You have to think that if you are just going to use mobile paying apps, then you are just transferring value of fiat rather than bitcoins... It's a matter of how much longer the central banks can keep on playing the charade that their system is the only system that works (which is the complete opposite).
It's amazing how economists aren't praising Bitcoin because what it has the potential to do. To finally have a digital gold that can be transferred anywhere in the world without much worry about inflation rates or the need for a third party to keep inflating whichever fiat system they are working with.

Yeah we want that it should reach at that price and remains stable for a longer period of time, and if it does then we can have feeling that we are real rich people holding good amount of bitcoins in our digital wallet and in the year 2016 it would surely cross that mark the only thing bitcoin needs is a good adoption level.

I think it wont be that widely adopted in the real world, but it will have a big part in online transactions and purchases.

I am using bitcoin as passive income and I am using as passive payment medium. I am planning to set bitcoin as my company's business transactions in future. But I ll start after halving only.

I think that we will see the world "economy" split into
- those genuinely productive activities such as microchip fabs, steelworks, polymer engineering production, etc for which output is defined as some action performed on materials inputs, and I'm hoping that the genuinely productives will prefer, in the long run, to get paid in bitcoin or a bitcoin-backed lesser cryptocurrency.
- extractive and renewable primary industries, which might prefer to be paid in bitcoin by manufacturers who have it
- tertiary and service activities such as insurance, financial advice and banking, which are lossy unless supported by bailouts and inflation, would need to stay in $ where they can precipitate another bailout or guilts buying qe plan next time they've lost all the money in the world again.

If sharemarkets worldwide fall by 10% from their peaks last year, what does that do to a bitcoin holder whose spending power is exactly the bitcoin which they bought ? Nothing
And what does it do to a financial institution whose lending to deposits ratio is approaching 10 ?  I'd rather be in bitcoin while they work out that one.

At the moment we are seeing the primary industries getting clobbered in all of the agricultural and extractive countries.  Should that be reversed?
