Hi Yankee,

Sorry to bother you on here but my funds have become tied up for the second time in a row due to "Failed verification too often - giving up" I have only had this occur the past two times I've used your services otherwise it's always been instantaneous.  Is there any way you can push this through for me today?  I hate having my money tied up and have gotten screwed both times this has happened because you still charge your fee and then bitcoin prices have jumped up both times as well.  Quite frustrating...  Thank you.

Sent you a PM with details.

For future reference, if this occurs it's usually due to not completing the payment with dwolla within about 5 minutes of seeing your quote page (yes, this system is not very good - we are waiting on a fix from dwolla).
It's usually a pretty trivial issue to fix on our end - we just manually confirm payment and then have our system reprocess, all that's needed for that is your QuoteID, which is the long number you should see in your own dwolla statement on the payment to us in the comments section.

Hey,

I have a failed MtGox -> BitStamp transfer, initiated 13 hrs ago. Still no response from support@bitinstant.com, so I'm posting it here.

OrderID: aff0e13b-c4c5-437e-9c37-ca275d623b87
QuoteID: bba82d5b-add1-485e-82a1-79288a1c77b4

When will I have my funds available at BitStamp?

Btw.: Why does your "Check Status" page report the transaction as completed, although BitStamp's API returned a low balance error? Secondly, why doesn't your system reject a transaction when you have insufficient funds on the destination exchange to execute it instantly?

Apparently not. My USD balance at BitStamp is unchanged. What's going on?

I've got a couple of transaction ID's I hoped you could take a look at.

5651e374-1cfe-4ff9-b6a8-006c4695485a

and

ede2d9a3-361f-4bc2-a5ae-9b6bf3d912b5

Both were deducted from my Dwolla account but they are showing a Dwolla verification error and transaction failure.

Thanks much for your help!

Can you look into this as soon as possible?  I've sent an email to your support email address and have tried using the liveagent thing on your site with no response.  The transaction was placed nearly 24 hours ago.

Forgive me, I used BitInstant once, 8 months ago, to purchase a VPN service anonymously. At the time, I just chose Local Bank > Email, and it all worked fine. Now I see that the Local bank option is no longer there, and there are OFAC fields for Name, Address and DOB.

Privacy advocates like my self, like to purchase VPN accounts with no ties to real life identity. The original BitInstant method allowed for this: Ie. Tormail address for email, VPN use when visiting BitInstant and Coinapult, etc...

Is this still possible with the current options? What does CVS, in the US, ask for? Can a fake name be entered into the OFAC fields? If it just looks for a match, I can think of names that wouldn't match anything. Is this name looked at by CVS, Albertson's etc...

Basically, can I renew my VPN, totally anonymously, with BitInstant now, like I did in the past? And how does the current Cash to Email process work?

I understand if the official BI support can't answer this, but if anyone else can, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hi Yankee,

I made a large transaction with bitinstant yesterday, it was an MT GOX Code to Paypal transfer, I've used bitinstant this way many times with no problems in the past with no problems but 24hrs later and I've still not had a deposit made to paypal.

These are the order IDs
Order ID   18b2de70-1c6a-48b9-ad1a-25f3a1b920b1
Quote ID   b95e0a16-fc88-4223-a937-4c92c3d9b651

I've had friends make successful transactions today with no delay so could you investigate why mine has such a huge delay? It's a significant sum and your support staff haven't been very responsive so I'm quite anxious!

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hey,

Our limit is $500 per transfer, you processed $2000.00

Since Paypal already did verification, we will approve this, however it may take an extra few hours

Thanks
