Sorry about that; I've done higher transfers in the past that were (manually) accepted by BitInstant staff.  I never got an error message or anything when I tried to place the order on BitInstant so I assumed that it was okay and that the $500 limit was a thing of the past.  Either way, sorry again

Also please *don't* process the transaction and instead return the funds to my Dwolla account.  As I said before the would-be-seller sold the items I was buying to someone else.  Thanks

Just found this, sorry if I am spamming your customer service but I'm just trying to find out quick... here's my details.   I got the confirmation email from you but no coins.  I suspect it was because it was the second transaction of an identical amount as one I did a few minutes before.  But since I got the confirmation email, I figured everything would arrive just as quick.  It has been a couple hours and the first trxn went through in minutes.  Thanks!

[details removed]

EDIT:  Rachel handled this for me this morning.  I received my coins <24 hours after inquiring.  Thank you Rachel/bitinstant.

Our API fully supports not accepting an order if we have no reserves.

Using the API, is there a way to check your reserve level at ___ exchange?  There is nothing in the documentation about it, but you say it supports not accepting such orders and that isn't documented either...

Also, if the $2000/day limit in total or per transaction type (like can I send $2k to BTC-e and $2k to Bittsamp in the same day?)

Thanks,
Thaddeus

Hey, I got an errer:

APIResponse: ERROR - Could not connect - <urlopen error [Errno 104] Connection reset by peer>

I sent an e-mail to Virwox and they sent an e-mail to your support, which I got a cc of:

"Hello Bitinstant Support,

we have just been the victim of another DDOS attack, which is the reason why this payment has failed. Can you just reexecute it, that should fix it."

Please help! I've used BitInstant before without a problem, it was only when using Virwox that this happened. I trust BitInstant to help Smiley

Bitinstant has now claimed to have sent my coins twice, and twice they've been lieing. This is utter bullshit.

BITINSTANT HAS STOLEN 500USD FROM ME. BEWARE!!!

This transaction is exponentially more time intensive than advertised. Support takes more than 24hrs to make a single reply. I still have not received a single reply, or call back, through the main support channels of Bitinstant.

Fuck this. I've rarely been so disrespected by a "legitimate" company.

I made a deposit yesterday using the bitcoin to email option. Completed the transaction at wal mart via money gram. I received the confirmation email from zip zap Inc but I have not received the email from coinapult. I have used this service several times in the past with no issue. Not sure what is going on this time. Please advise.

Same issue I'm having nearly.  I used btc to wallet instead of coinapult.  Past transactions I made I received an email from bitinstant right after paying at walmart.  Yesterday I got the email from zipzap but nothing from bitinstant.  Sent a message yesterday and still waiting to hear back a response.  Good luck to you sir!

This customer has repeatdly claimed that we stole from him however has not provided any Order ID, proof of an actual order or anything.

This customer personally PM'd me and told me he would email me personally, I have yet to get any email.

I believe this customer is just spamming and spreading FUD.

Hi Charlie,

I just sent you a PM about my issue again.  I do not have an orderID due to not receiving an email after payment (this is the only way I've ever noticed receipt of it).  I can provide any other information needed, wallet address, zipzap account #, name, email, d.o.b., please let me know what you need to forward my coins!

EDIT:  Coins are on their way, Rachel stated I accidently included some extra text in my wallet address which caused the delay.  Unfortunately they were priced at today's market (17.6/btc) and not what it was yesterday when I made my purchase at walmart (~16.8/btc).  I thought that coin prices were locked when I made my payment, is this not the case?  This works out to about 11 bucks I'm missing because of the deposit delay.  I'm going to have to be much more careful filling out your forms!  Thanks again for your service!

36ac96a4-b9c7-468c-b8b7-eff25accb92d

Placed two orders yesterday:
one for $503.95 and another for $103.95.
I had placed the order for $103.95 first. Only the $503.95 order has been sent. The above order has not. I placed this order at 12:30 pm est on 1/21/2013.
This is not shown on the block chain. I contacted Rachel yesterday about this and was assured I would have my coins today. Well here we are and still no coins. I did not send a duplicate amount so what gives. 24 hours later and still no coins. It seems everytime I send more than one deposit now there is always an issue. Please process this for me as I have waited long enough.

EDIT:
Looks like my coins are finally on the way.
Thanks

Any idea what the issue was? I did not send duplicate amounts....
