Definitely get in touch with the devs about this too. This is quite an important feature that Decred needs in the near future.
Will do _ingsoc, thank you. I must admit from going through the code, you guys have my respect for commenting the code pretty well, which is particularly important at this stage imho.
Also, I like how you are handling the whole RFP process so far. Lets hope it works long term.

Please fill this in to be listed on Poloniex https://poloniex.com/coinRequest
Just filled, thank you very much souljah1h for preparing the template! hopefully, Poloniex guys also enable margin trading once DCR is added to further the average daily volume.

Is it normal for transactions to confirm in about a hour? Seems like a long time, shouldn't it be instant?

No, your coins got lost in the void. Probably cant be cancelled, so you will have to wait even more.

Please fill this in to be listed on Poloniex https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

Info

Name: Decred

Ticker: DCR (??)

ANN page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290358.1360

Website: https://decred.org/

Block Explorer: https://mainnet.decred.org/

Please explain why you would like to see this coin added to the exchange:

give your personal reason

If this coin has any significant innovations over other coins, please elaborate on them here:

Hybridized proof-of-work proof-of-stake consensus system to strike a balance between miners and voters and create a more robust notion of consensus

Blake-256 hashing algorithm – not vulnerable to many of the numerous security issues facing Merkle-Damgård construction-based hashing algorithms such as SHA-256

secp256k1 signature scheme for ease of integration into existing software or Ed25519/secp256k1-Schnorr to take advantage of Schnorr signatures and their features

Written entirely in Go using a modular, well-documented, and tested codebase for long-term maintainability

Hope this helps Smiley

Let's twitt to @poloniex about that too

I'd say a combination of the start of the week and people moving profits out of Eth and into Dcr.

That is a good point. Interesting to see ETH dump hard today.

I'd say a combination of the start of the week and people moving profits out of Eth and into Dcr.

how many decred supply in total?

Total maximum supply is 20,999,999.99800912 (~21M) decred. That is fixed and finite as per the Decred Constitution. Devs are putting together a feed to show the available supply. Then anyone can pull those stats with ease.

I myself, am not certain how it all really works in regards to PoS.
Maybe someone else can explain it in a simplistic manner.
