Only 6 persons. Good.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Haha, seeing these posts about the unclaimed drop, I was reminded of how I lost my airdrop and at the same time had an unfortunate roller-coaster of (identity-theftish) stuff happen to me after a post on the forum, I kinda backed away from my pc for a while there, hehe.

Anyway, if anyone wants to know: https://forum.decred.org/threads/airdrop-rundown.313/page-8#post-7671

Sorry the 750ti i have access to is about to die, so OC it could kill the card. The previous 750ti ss shows 1189core clock and 2700 memory hash rate. You could down clock your card to these to compare.

I think Poloniex is waiting for a Decred GUI wallet to avoid too many complains(Deposits and withdraws) of users that are not familiarized with command lines.

Agree, they don't need extra hassle with the mega volume they're experiencing.

Poloniex is earning a lot of bitcoins from the trading in the Ethereum and other altcoins. it is the biggest altcoin exchange now.

Agree mate. As soon as we get a GUI wallet things will be much easier non savvy users and for exchanges as well to accept DCR. Patience is key to a good and usable coin. If devs release the GUI wallet earlier, then it would not be as functional as a fully developed wallet that took more time to become released. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes

I hope to see Decred become one of the top cryptos in the market. A good thing that this coin has is its self governance.  Cheesy

I knew the omission of a user friendly gui wallet would limit adoption.  That really is the single biggest issue with moving the coin forward.  Hopefully progress on it is coming along, but from what I recall it's still like a month away.
