1000 decred is 2.6 btc, so with an investment of 2.6 btc you can earn 0.1 btc every 28 days, not worth it
it was worth it at the beginning...
What if it will be worth again in the future? It's only not worth if you sell the DCR as soon as you make them. If you're in it for the long run, you don't care about these cycles and fluctuations. |

Bitcoin has dropped a little so dollar price has dropped a little. Big deal
As for staking profitability, price of tickets is around 30 dcr not 44. Actually its even lower around 26 but the average is slowly increasing
1000 dcr gets you about 35 tickets and half of them are expected to stake in a month. That's almost 30 dcr or 0.075 btc with conservative measures.
Yearly it's 0.9 btc without compounding. About 35%. I consider that quite good.

35% is good if the price stays about the same. I mean a fiat equivalent. If it keeps going down, there is no point in maintaining a full node online, buying tickets and watching the markets for a good time to sell out. |

Some coins are just not a pump and dump coin. Some are made for future use. DCR showed enough potential but true to say, lot of other strong coins are there to suppress this coin. if it can survive and can develop in full pace, it will be a nice investment

A scam would be only a coin that has malicious code in the wallet executable or something like that. If the devs are legit then the coin is legit and not a scam, regardless of what happens in the market. Anyway, Decred's price is very stable considering it's a PoS-minable coin... it's easy to make an interest for practically doing nothing ... the setup of the PoS is even easier now with the GUI. I don't know what people are complaining about. Not getting rich overnight? Well... |
