Why is decred price so low?
Maybe better question is: why are you trolling here?  Not everyone is trolling(just the majority, lol). I'm sure there are more than a few people who have genuine concern when the price is half of what it was not that long ago. |

There are actually hundreds of lousy Bitcoin copy alt-crypto currencies that I do not care about. At all. Like Dogecoin or Trumpcoin or Fedoracoin and what-have-you coin. Do you know how often I post in those coins' threads? You guessed it: I never post in those threads. You know why? Because I don't care about those coins. I post in the Decred thread and in the XCP (Counterparty) threads because I think there's something extremely interesting about these two projects. This is what rational behavior looks like: you spend your valuable free time for things you care about... So the people who spam this thread with FUD - they are either a) irrational, spending time for things they do not care about; or b) have ulterior motives. They claim their "ulterior motive" is humanitarian, to "help others by warning them", well if you believe that, you might as well believe in unicorns. Anyway, I've been following Bitcoin since its price was well below $1 and every time its price was dropping, people were saying "it's over, it's dead"... Yawn.  I couldn't have said it better myself, and share your opinions completely (with the exception of XCP which I'm not familiar with). The doom and gloom gets old, especially under the veil of altruism. Just as with Bitcoin, time and success will speak louder than voices. Who even uses bitcoin anymore, it's been dead for years!  |

The price is really low, but it's just a good moment to get in for the long term run...
There is real potential in Decred.
Lol.. how could someone be so stupid at all?... Never mind.. these are the ppl who buy the coins from ppl who understand how markets work and sell their coins now Would you buy Bitcoins if the price dropped to 5 $ / BTC? ... NO! Because even the most stupid ppl would get the fact that bitcoin failed... and it's the same with DCR now. It just totally failed. There is simply no need to buy Decred now - get it. NO - it will not rise in the future.. it's dead. Or do you expect a dead body to move ever again?... And once again... no I do not own any DCR at the moment.. so don't come up with your stupid argument that my plan is to drop the price! |

So if I understand this right, a coin's amount of drop in value is grounds for it being a failure/dead by your reasoning. Let's look at that for a second. Bitcoin is currently worth $452, which is 38.8% of it's ATH value of $1163 in Nov-Dec 2014. Decred is currently worth BTC0.003, which is 47.6% of it's ATH value of BTC0.0063. So by your reasoning everyone should sell Bitcoin because it is more dead than Decred? And that Bitcoin losing 99% of it's value would be the same as Decred currently at 50% of it's ATH value. And you are calling other people stupid? lol Apparently you have a crystal ball to see into the future though since you are confident "it will not rise in the future". You are just as full of shit as those who say it will go to the moon tomorrow, except at least they are obvious enough to know they have ulterior motivation. You are a troll. You know nothing. You'd have the CLI mastered by now and you would be multiplying your coins, buying new PoS tickets! But that takes some effort ...

You'd have the CLI mastered by now and you would be multiplying your coins, buying new PoS tickets! But that takes some effort ...
I did master the CLI and bought tickets. In fact, I almost doubled my investment. However, I find working this CLI a real chore. I find it practically archaic. Almost as bad as dealing with UNIX in the early 80s. I have been dumping my coins for almost a month now as my tickets come in. I just have 4 tickets left and unless the official GUI gets released very soon, I'll be out of this coin once my remaining tickets come in. I can't wait to get rid of this unwieldy PITA for good. |

Have you seen on official forum all people who are involved with the development of decred? It can be said that most of the best known members of bitcointalk are working on it.
