I think you just wasted your time, so you ask about the best alt coins, then all the answers will be different and although they think good, that's not necessarily good for you. I suggest you do your own research on altcoin.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Like everything else in life you have to actually do something for yourself by the time that you come to this forum collect this information and go through this you weren't going to get nowhere near having the right information in the right about it is too slow. Do your own research find the coins yourself and then invest in them.

that is true. But why not you give him some suggestion to guide his way? People are usually very lazy to make their own research on the cryptocurrency world and moreover, there are hundred of coin and they will waste a lot of time to do this job and find their most suitable coin

Just keep in mind that there are no guarantees in life.

Do your own research and use some common sense. Don't simply rely on what others have to say, since most people have a personal interest for promoting various coins. And yes, don't invest more than what you can afford to lose.

Oh, and leave your emotions out of financial decisions.

I have thought of a strategy. But I will not try it. It is almost like playing Dice at 1% chance, hoping you hit with 100 rolls. We all know that won't happen,,,

But 100 alts with 1 satoshi price or less. If 1 hits 100 satoshi price,,, you cover loss. If 2 hits 100 satoshi,,, you make double.

What do you think?

I think you have a 63.4% chance of winning if you make 100 throws with each having a 1% chance of winning.

FootyCash (FOOT) is worth buying.

Here is why:

Footy Cash (FOOT) has seen a meteoric rise in valuation for the past month; with a price increase of more than 5000%+ on multiple exchanges.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=FOOT_BTC#

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.0

I think the reason being is that:

1. Footy has Rarity - Only 4 million coins total can exist.  There is a small POS inflation rate - about 3% annually (for staked coins only).
How many of you can say like the Winklevoss twins - that you own whole percentages of a cryptocurrency.
Looking the current price of FootyCash you actually might be able to!

2. Footy is the first Fantasy Sports Crypotocurrency ever made. - Footy is the Bitcoin of Fantasy Sports!

3. Fantasy Sports is a multi-billion dollar industry - with tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue just for Fantasy Football alone!  If you count all the illegal gambling the figure goes much higher - maybe hundreds of billions? (not that I am condoning illegal gambling - but it's a fact of reality that must be considered anyway).

4. Coinmarketcap list just under 900 altcoins; of those listed only a  small percentage of altcoins have a cap of less than 4 million total coin.  Every coin on coinmarketcap with a rarity of less than 7 million total coins produced are all worth more than $2.00 USD - with the exception of Dreamcoin (because of YOBIT) and FOOTY CASH (which is currently undergoing a price correction: 5000% increase in the past month alone.)

5. The coin was greatly undervalued because of unawareness of the Footy cryptocurrency and Fantasy Sports as well.  As more and more people become aware of its value the price will continue to rise. The price may go higher than $10.00 USD per coin before the end of the year!

6. FootyCash has a great developer, active development, and the best community support!

7. FootyCash has a promising roadmap and is currently developing Masternodes and Anonymous Send like DASH and PIVX for the next release.

8.  The name FootyCash may sound funny but "Footy Cash" is an actual English term (apparently):

     https://www.power100.com.au/news/local-news/81959-footy-cash-to-go-to-good-friday-appeal
     and
     http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/california-club-brothel-sues-in-footy-cash-feud/news-story/bd77f7d397a34a067342a113b5bfa5d8

9. DraftKings, FanDuel, and other Fantasy Sports companies are getting the legislative green light to operate in most U.S States and other countries as well.

When these companies decide to follow the trend of most corporations and switch to blockchain technology - I guarantee you that they will take a hard look at FootyCash first!

Quote
Why would Draftkings or Fanduel select FootyCash (FOOT) for customer deposits/withdrawals over conventional Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum?  Why should they use FootyCash over Bitcoin?

FootyCash (FOOT) is the first cryptocurrency designed for Fantasy Sports and there are only 4 million total coins ever; as good as those reasons are, what makes FootyCash a better choice over Bitcoin for DraftKings and Fanduel customer deposits/withdrawals are the following reasons:

FootyCash's roadmap and ongoing development will make FootyCash far better for Fantasy Sports than the other more popular coins such as Bitcoin, etc.

FootyCash will have features that are specifically designed for Fantasy Sports and gambling as a whole.

One example is an Anonymous Send feature.  Bitcoin does not have Masternodes nor an Anonymous Send feature but FootyCash is currently developing these features.

The legality of Fantasy Sports in every country is not clear, most being ambiguous at best. Even though most U.S states are legalizing Fantasy Sports gambling there are some people who would feel more comfortable with a coin designed to protect them in the area where the law may not be clear.

Both Draftkings and Fanduel also would want a coin that can cater to the Fantasy Sports industry as a whole, with features designed for Fantasy Sports - i.e fantasy sidechains, etc...

Bitcoin can't do that, but FootyCash can.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

It all depends on your own preferences and how much money you wanna make (your volume) based on that you can build some crypto strategies to try out, find what kind of cap fits your needs. I've been lately trading low caps and really enjoying the whole process , but if you wanna make more than 1btc from a trade sometime that's not an option..tho I still recommend choosing trex over polo

Can you elaborate your post? What's the best thing for this coin, why does it have very big volume in Bittrex?
I saw Antshares for a long time but I never have time to analyze it. What's so special about it?

Sentigraph - If you made some profits , or just want to use some of your money for a genuinely good project (one that would help the people of the world), go and park some money at S3ntigraph and forget about it for the next 5-10 years.
If these guys get the support they need, I'm fairly confident that they will do great things for humanity. They are also quite capable and enthusiastic about their project and I'm 100% confident they can deliver with the right means. Please do read up on this one, it's one of the first opportunities to use the Blockchain for something genuinely good, while still having a long-term prospect of making profits.

AiCoin - If you are looking for short-term profits with large long-term potentials, go with AiCoin. Based on its algorithm it's highly unlikely that you will make any loss in the short term (unless idiotic people dump below the current value, in which case you should literally just go and buy them up if you can). The coin will be tethered to the produced value, so you always know the real current value of it. Since it will be tradeable, there's a chance that the price will be higher in anticipation of future profits (which are almost guaranteed). In either way, it's one of the coins where I would park a larger part of my crypto-portfolio in and just observe for years or hopefully even decade. (Please do PM me if you would like a referral link for this one).

Blocklancer also seems quite great, since it addresses all the issues with online Freelancing successfully. If people adopt the platform, that one will be huge as well.

Waves - Should speak for themselves by now. A lot of different ways to utilize the platform and you can participate in its success through holding Waves. By leasing them you also have a chance of getting other Tokens which may explode in the future as well.

NVST/NVO - Gorgeous Wallet, decentralized exchange. Very stable post ICO, overall quite happy with this project and will be keeping an eye on it.

Go to coinmarketcap.com and read into the top 100 there.  You can then choose what is of interest to you for speculative/investment purposes.

I strongly agree to this. Top 10 would be best for day trading . 10 and below would be best for long term investment.

Always select those coins who are on the top of the marketcap they will give you a good long-term investment. Just carefully research those other alt-coins you wanted to buy and look for the trusted people who gives a good rep. There are too many promising alt-coins out there, but carefully choose those who have a good team and devs team with a hard working team.

Exactly. If you always choose the most prominent altcoins with constant development and innovation, then you will be able to secure your investments for the long term. In crypto land, you need to have patience and make your due diligence by researching any new coin that comes into it, to help avoid making mistakes in the future that may result in huge capital loss.

Thanks to the advent of Bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies have embraced its technology, adding new features that complement the whole ecosystem. There are many useful altcoins which are worth buying and holding for the long term, since they provide features that are not even seen within Bitcoin itself.

Thus, you could enjoy the good stuff from Bitcoin, while at the same time benefit from other altcoins innovations that will help improve our society for the better. As long as you diversify between the top altcoins in market cap, nothing should go wrong. Just my thoughts Grin

I don't know if you tried using the Next platform but Ardor is the sister of Next and it wasnt a nice user experience at all.
